Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit--the Word of God, Logos, Regulative Principle
John writes that Antichrist denies the one god the FATHER and one SON Jesus Christ

Blasphemy: Claiming the Baptism of The Holy Spirit. North Boulevard Church of Christ East and West.
The Baptism (overwhelming) of HOLY SPIRIT (No 'the') was promised only to the Apostles in the upper room.  The WIND was the Returned Jesus as Holy Spirit breathing which always produces words: WORD or Logos, the Regulative Principle which outlaws any role other than PREACHING the word by READING the Word in the ONCE A WEEK Day of REST which defines SCHOOL as the way to refresh the HUMAN spirit.

The Baptism of Fire is reserved for the Viper Race (serpents) including Scribes and Pharisees: Speaking your own Words, singing, playing instruments, drama or anything beyond REST which means A School (only) of Christ (only).

The Abomination of Desolation: first defined as the instrumental-trinitarian worship at Mount Sinai.

Brock Paulk

Jude says that the instrumental-trinitarian-perverted Jews at Mount Sinai are the PATTERN for those who are PREDESTINED to be the enemies of the Word of God. The Word is the Logos is the Regulative principle which outlaws everything but PREACHING the word by READING the Word.  Angels of Light understand just what their Purpose Driven destiny is even understanding that the SORCERERS--speakers, singers, instrument players will be CAST ALIVE INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.

Psallo is derived from Apollon-Abaddon. He is the King of the Locusts or MUSES: Muses or anyone selling any body part or skill in the name of God is called by Paul a corrupter of the word which word means a PROSTITUTE. In a more civilized society only women performed for hire.

To Brock Paulk: Just listened to your sermon and find it hard to reconcile how you view Scripture and the "instrumental" folly.

The Spirit OF Christ defined the future REST both inclusively and exclusively to use musical instruments as the mark that people have lost their way: that began with instrumental idolatry at Mount Sinai which was the "because of transgression" of the Law. Even then there is no "music" in the Law of Moses.  God turned Israel over to worship the starry hosts (Acts 7 etal) and sentenced them back to Babylon which meant "no redemption."  Here are a few quick notes which can be enhanced to prove that music derived from mystery always meant to "make the lambs dumb before the slaughter." This musical mocking was prophesied and fulfilled in the Matthew 21 attack upon Jesus as the Son.  The problem I see is that in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and back to clay tablets the use of musical instruments which sounds are always called witchcraft or sorcery because it bypasses the rational or spiritual mind, seem to be the SIGNS (Revelation) that Christ has visited to remove the LAMPS (seven spirits of Christ Isaiah 11) and as in Amos 8 "WILL NOT PASS BY AGAIN."

THE SPIRIT OF (a preposition) DEFINED HIS FUTURE REST BOTH INCLUSIVELY. THE PROPHETIC TYPES BY CHRIST ARE MADE MORE CERTAIN BY JESUS OF NAZARETH AND DELIVERED TO US BY EYE-AND EAR-WITNESSES. THIS ARE NOT SUBJECT TO PRIVATE INTERPRETATION OR FURTHER EXPOUNDING.  TO DO SOW SAYS PETER IS TO MARK THE FALSE TEACHERS.

The small band of deliberate "robbers of Temples" and fleecing widows and then saying, OOPS! I always intended to DIVERT YOUR MONIES to my boyling praise singers leading up to a full betrayal of the Word and their foolish investors.

In the Prophetic Type by Christ in Isaiah 30 the SOUNDS of God driving His enemies into "hell" would be the same wind, string and percussion instruments."

Brock Paulk uses the story of the PLANTER who removes Himself for a period of time to see what His servants would do with it.  What Brock Paulk and others who compose sermons missed is that this is the FULFILMENT then and now of the Prophetic Type by Jesus Christ.  We have to look back to Isaiah to see how Christ defined the future REST in His School of the Word both inclusively and exclusively. Christ identified the Civil-Military-Clergy (staff) as robbers and parasites.

Mt 21:28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons;
and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. Mt 21:29
Matthew 21:30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

Matthew 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte,
and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people. Ezek 26:7

They will plunder your wealth and

and throw your stones, TIMBER and rubble into the sea. Ezek 26:12

Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses,

Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord. Eze 33:30

Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Rev 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
I will put an end to your noisy songs, and the music [sound] of your harps will be heard no more. Ezek 26:13

The LXX is more forceful in showing that both the music and the musicians would be silenced---

"And he shall destroy the multitude of thy musicians, and the sound of thy psalteries shall be heard no more." Ezek. 26:13 LXX

My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to listen to your words,

but they do not put them into practice.

With their mouths they express devotion (Lord, Lord as amorousness - inordinate love),

but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain (commerce or trade or attendance). Eze 33:31

Rev 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird

And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; Rev 18:22

Tarta^r-os , the nether world generally,

And altogether the ancient philosoj)hy of the Greeks appears to have been very much addicted to music; and on this account they judged Apollo to have been the most musical and the wisest of the gods, and Orpheus of the demigods. And they called every one who devoted himself to the study of this art a sophist, as
Aeschylus does in the verse where he says — And then the sophist sweetly struck the lyre.

Musae (Mousai). In Greek mythology the Muses were originally the nymphs of springs, whose waters gave inspiration, such as Hippocrené, Castalia, etc.; then goddesses of song in genera. They are all female and are considered goddesses dwelling in Olympus, who at the meals of the gods sing sweetly to the lyre of Apollo. They are the nine daughters of Zeus.

The idea suggested by proskunoimen and hieron, that the poet is a sort of theos or theios [god or goddess] anēr, is now elaborated with ironical politeness. THE MUSICAL WORSHIP TEAM: The rise of the Musical Worship Team both vocal and instrumental CLAIM that they have the power to lead you into the presence of God.  The aroused feeling has always been trafficked as proof that a spirit is inside of you and the church-becomes-temple is the house of a god. It may be but the Spiritus of Abaddon or Apollyon is his presence as the LEADER of the Muses.  Not surprisingly they call themselves HALAL which means to make self vile or ZOE who is Venus or Lucifer.

Jesus claimed all of the authority vested in all of the pagan trinities of father, spirit (mother) and son. He has all of that authority  because the ONE GOD ALMIGHTY gave it to him. He builds his church on the foundation of the Prophets (by Christ) and the prophecies made more certain by Jesus of Nazareth and STAMPED with authority in "that which is written for our learning." The ONLY Worship concept is to give attendance to the Word or Logos or Regulative principle delivered by Christ. It is written to mold spiritual values and it is not given so that merchants can extract dogma for which they can get paid.  Selling your own charisma or words is called by the Greeks and Paul as PROSTITUTION.

THEREFORE, CHRIST'S SUBSTITUTE USING THE ONLY WORSHIP CONCEPT FROM THE CHURCH IN THE WILDERNESS ONWARD.

People who build houses of worship in which God does not live and cannot be worshipped in is the MASSED PEOPLE OF THE WORLD say to Jesus;

HELL NO, WE WON'T GOD AND WE DO NOT INTEND TO REPENT.

Matt. 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name (Jesus Christ)  of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matt. 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

NO CHANGE IN CULTURE CAN AUTHORIZE FIRING JESUS CHRIST JUST TO TURN THE SPIRITUAL WARRIORS INTO WOMEN SO THEY WON'T RISE UP AND CAST YOU OUT OF THEIR SYNAGOGUE.

Mt 21:31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them,
Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

Brock Paulk quotes

Mt 21:32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness,
        and ye believed him not
but the publicans and the harlots believed him:
and ye, when ye had seen it,
repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

Repentance and baptism on faith in the promise of Jesus Christ makes it possible TO BELIEVE the whole Holy Scriptures which define the Prophets by the Spirit OF Christ and the prophecies made more certain by Jesus of Nazareth and left for out MEMORY by the Apostles who were eye-- and ear-- witnesses of the resurrected Jesus.  In Acts 2 those who GLADLY RECEIVE HIS WORD are baptized.  By repentance and baptism they receive remission of sins and the exchange of their old UNholy spirit for a new, regenerated or A Holy Spirit.  In 1 Peter 3:21 Peter says that BAPTISM SAVES because that is the Christ-ordained way to REQUEST A good conscience, consciousnes or A co-perception of the Word. It means to be chandestinely informed of.  In 2 Corinthians 3 Paul says that without conversion or baptism the people would not be able to READ BLACK text on BROWN paper or even HEAR it when it was READ on the rest days.  The Christ command from the wilderness onward was to PREACH the Word by READING the Word for Comfort and Doctrine.   The WORD is the LOGOS or Regulative Principle which is the OPPOSITE of rhetoric or self-speak, singing, playing instruments or acting.  All of the TECHNICIANS of religion in Revelation 18 are called SORCERERS and they will be cast alive into the Lake of Fire.

Mt 21:33 Hear another parable:
There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard,
and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower,
and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

Mt 21:34 And when the time of the fruit drew near,
he sent his servants to the husbandmen,
that they might receive the fruits of it.

Mt 21:35 And the husbandmen took his servants,
and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

Mt 21:36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.

Mt 21:37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

Mt 21:38 But when the husbandmen saw the son,
        they said among themselves,
This is the heir; come, let us kill him,
and let us seize on his inheritance.

Mt 21:39 And they caught him,
and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

Everything that happened to Jesus as the Messiah and subject of this parable is defined in absolute terms in the prophets and some psalms. For instance:

Everyone understood that the "musical" instruments were instruments of warfare and triumph over the enemy. In connection with the "annihilation of the Sons of Darkness" the Levites served as guards:

DSS: "After them the chiefs of the Levites serve continually, twelve in all, one to a tribe. The chiefs of their courses shall serve each man in his office. The chiefs of the tribes and fathers of the congregation shall support them, taking their stand continually at the gates of the sanctuary

In Battle:

"The priests shall blow the trumpets of massacre, and the Levites and all the blowers of the ram's horn shall sound a battle alarm,

and the foot soldiers shall stretch out their hands against the host...
and at the
sound of the alarm they shall begin to bring down the slain.
All the people shall cease their
clamor,
........... but the priests shall continue to blow the trumpets of massacre."  - War Scroll

By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy (Judas) doth not triumph over me. Ps.41:11

DSS: And they, teachers of lies and seers of falsehood,
have schemed against me a devilish scheme,
to exchange the Law engraved on my heart by Thee
for the smooth things which they speak to Thy people.

And they withhold from the thirst the drink of Knowledge, (Amos 5, 6, 8, Isa 5) and assuage their thirst with vinegar, that they may gaze on their straying, on their folly concerning their feast-days (Jubilee, Feast of Tabernacles) on their fall into their snares.

But Thou, O God,
dost despise all Satan's designs;
it is Thy purpose that they shall be done
and the design of Thy heart
that shall be established for ever.

As for them, they dissemble,
they plan devilish schemes.
They seek Thee with a double heart
and are not confirmed in Thy truth.
A root bearing poisoned and bitter fruit
is in their designs;
they walk in stubbornness of heart
and see Thee among idols,
then they set before them
the stumbling-block of their sin.
They come to inquire of Thee
from the mouth of lying prophets deceived by error (Eze 13)
Who speak with strange lips to Thy people,
and an alien tongue,
That they may cunningly turn
all their work to folly.
They have overtaken me in a narrow pass (gap) without escape
And there is no rest for me in my trial.
They sound my censure upon a harp
and their murmuring and storming upon a zither." Ps.41:1

Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord. Ezek 33:30

And they come unto thee as the people cometh,
and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words,
but they will not do them:
for with their mouth they shew much love,
but their heart goeth after their covetousness. Ezek 33: 31

And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song
of one that hath a pleasant voice,
and can play well on an instrument:
for they hear thy words,
but they do them not. Ezek 33: 32
And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them. Ezek 33: 33

Paul begins the chapter by defining the

It is made up of two words:
1. Glossa (from Strong's g1100) means "speaking in tongues" especially an unacquired one.
2. Kosmos (g2889) means the "orderly arrangement" or the "adorning" world. this is derived from (g2864 or Komizo which means "to carry off."

MUSIC IS UNIVERSALLY UNDERSTOOD FROM CLAY TABLETS ONWARD AS "SPIRITUAL VIOLENCE."

Pind. I. 7   In which of the local glories of the past, divinely blessed Thebe, did you most delight your spirit? Was it when you raised to eminence the one seated beside Demeter of the clashing bronze cymbals, flowing-haired [5] Dionysus? Or when you received, as a snow-shower of gold in the middle of the night, the greatest of the gods, when he stood in the doorway of Amphitryon, and then went in to the wife to beget Heracles?

But since ancient grace sleeps, and mortals are forgetful of whatever does not reach the highest bloom of skillful song, joined to glorious streams of words, [20] then begin the victory procession with a sweet-singing hymn for Strepsiades;
Aristoph. Ach. 5 I was in ecstasy and I love the Knights for this deed; ‘it is an honour to Greece.’ But the day when I was impatiently awaiting a piece by Aeschylus, what tragic despair it caused me when the herald called, “Theognis, introduce your Chorus!” Just imagine how this blow struck straight at my heart!

Pind. Pelion, and carried the girl of the wilds in his golden chariot to a place where he made her mistress of a land rich in flocks and most rich in fruits, to live and flourish on the root of the third continent. Silver-footed Aphrodite welcomed [10] the Delian guest from his chariot, touching him with a light hand, and she cast lovely modesty on their sweet union, joining together in a common bond of marriage the god and the daughter of wide-ruling Hypseus. He was at that time king of the proud Lapiths, a hero of the second generation from Oceanus; [15] in the renowned glens of Mt. Pindus a Naiad bore him, Creusa the daughter of Gaia, delighting in the bed of the river-god Peneius. And Hypseus raised his lovely-armed daughter Cyrene. THE PARALLEL IN AMOS 8

THUS hath the Lord God shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit. Amos 8:1

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the Lord unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more. Amos 8:2

A basket:

Keluwb (h3619) kel-oob'; from the same as 3611; a bird-trap (as furnished with a clap-stick or treadle to spring it); hence a basket (as resembling a wicker cage): - basket, cage.

As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich. Je.5:27

Keleb (h3611) keh'leb; from an unused root mean. to yelp, or else to attack; a dog; hence (by euphemism) a male prostitute: - dog.

For dogs have compassed me: the assembly [multitude, swarm] of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. Ps.22:16

Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Is.56:11

And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the Lord: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy. Je.15:3

Aeschylus, Suppliant Women

Therefore I would have you bring no shame upon me, now when your youthful loveliness attracts men's gaze. The tender ripeness of summer fruit is in no way easy to protect; beasts despoil it--and men, why not?-- [1000] and brutes that fly and those that walk the earth. Love's goddess spreads news abroad of fruit bursting ripe. . . . So all men, as they pass, [1005] mastered by desire, shoot an alluring arrow of the eye at the delicate beauty of virgins. See to it, therefore, that we do not suffer that in fear for which we have endured great toil and ploughed the great waters with our ship; and that we bring no shame to ourselves and exultation to our enemies. Housing of two kinds is at our disposition, [1010] the one Pelasgus offers, the other, the city, and to occupy free of cost. These terms are easy. Only pay heed to these behests of your father, and count your chastity more precious than your life.

Chorus

May the Olympian gods grant us good fortune in all the rest! [1015] But, concerning the bloom of my virginity, father, be of good cheer, for, unless some evil has been devised of Heaven, I will not swerve from the former pathway of my thoughts.

Plat. Laws 669de   whereas human poets, by their senselessness in mixing such things and jumbling them up together, would furnish a theme for laughter to all the men who, in Orpheus' phrase, “have attained the full flower of joyousness.” For they behold all these things jumbled together, and how, also, the poets rudely sunder rhythm and gesture from tune, putting tuneless words into meter, [There is NO metrical Scripture] or leaving time and rhythm without words, and using the bare sound of harp or flute, wherein it is almost impossible to understand what is intended by this wordless rhythm and harmony, or what noteworthy original it represents. Such methods, as one ought to realize, are clownish in the extreme in so far as they exhibit an excessive craving for speed, mechanical accuracy, and the imitation of animals' [Beasts] sounds, and consequently employ the pipe and the harp without the accompaniment of dance and song;

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Isaiah 5:21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

Isaiah 5:22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

Isaiah 5:23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

Isaiah 5:24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

The WORD is Dabar or Logos: Logos is specificially defined as the Regulative Principle: it is EXCLUSIVE of self-speaking, singing, playing instruments, acting or any of the hypocritic arts and Crafts Jesus assigned to the Scribes and Pharisees by quoting Isaiah Ezekiel 33

Isaiah 5:25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Isaiah 5:26 And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:

Isaiah 5:27 None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:

Isaiah 5:28 Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:

Isaiah 5:29 Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.

Isaiah 5:30 And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
