David Young Discipling Dilemma Denies Holy Scripture as SUFFICIENT

8.14.24 A "I Told you So" https://www.pineycom.com/Overseers.Elders.Shepherds.Pastor-Teacher.html

I WILL KEEP ADDING--AND CORRECTING--THIS QUICK THIS PAPER. ASSUREDLY NO PREACHER FROM RECENT SCHOOLS WILL COME WITHOUT A STACK OF SERMON OUTLINES AND AN AGENDA TO DESTROY THE 'REST" JESUS DIED TO GIVE TO HIS DISCIPLE.  LAMBS OF GOD CANNOT BE MADE INTO WORK DONKEYS.

REST OR PAUO has the same meaning as SABBATH which was for a worship service: you can bow low or fall on your face is reverence and godly fear without a musical distractor making it certain that you cannot possibly think of the ALMIGHTY who left not one example in holy scripture of anyone said to worship by preaching, listening, singing, playing an instrument, scenic in your face displays or PAY TO PLAY.

Sons FROM God are taught BY God and will not be DECEIVED by the ADVERSARY.  One doubts that there can be any greater BLASPHEMY than claiming that neither God nor HIS SPIRIT (the only one) supplied all that you need for "life and godliness." Jesus who died for making disciples,  the Apostles, Holy Scripture and the historical Church of Christ (denounced in the vision) were able to deliver a body of teaching which no one can understand unless their character is changed.

YOU HAVE TO OFFEND ONLY ONE LITTLE CHILD TO GO GET YOURSELVES FITTED FOR A MILLSTONE.

If you claim that A spirit guides you to call Paul a liar you make disciples of yourself. Taught and endorsed by David Young: Earlier this year we were walking through J.D. Greear’s book on the Holy Spirit,

Encounter the DYNAMIC presence of God as you learn from pastor and author J. D. Greear how to more fully experience the Holy Spirit within you. Jesus gave his disciples the audacious promise that the Spirit he would send to live inside them would..

Only very PROFANE people act as probate lawyers to CHANGE your mother's will to CHEAT YOU.

Making their god means that they can debunk Holy Scripture and impose their will on YOU-for a price!
God sent Scribes and they observed and left 'partial' records of each event. When "that which was perfect' was completed the partial God given SUPERNATURAL POWERS were done away. That was the only way to seal The Last Will and Testament to prevent pretenders from imposing their own will;

James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

John 12:46 I am come a light into the world,

John 3:22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
John 3:23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
John 3:25 Then there arose a question between some of John’s disciples

Renew.Org: The WATER of baptism, or the ACT of baptism,  has no merit in itself;

it is simply the God-ordained method of appealing BY FAITH
        to the saving work of Jesus Christ.

Baptism, Peter teaches,
is a PLEDGE of a good conscience
        based upon the resurrection of Jesus Christ
.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
        Except a man be BORN [A New Spirit] of WATER and of the SPIRIT,
        he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Church Creed: Jesus Christ

1Pet. 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us
(not the putting away of the filth of the flesh,
        but the answer of a good conscience toward God,)
        by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

ANSWER old English is never OUR PLEDGE of something to GIVE.

The FIGURE does not say that Baptism is just the TYPE. Rather,

Antitupon (g499) an-teet'-oo-pon; neut. of a comp. of 473 and 5179; corresponding ["antitype"], i.e. a representative, counterpart: - (like) figure (whereunto).

Baptism is the God-giiven GRACE which Max Lucado repudiates. Anti means:

Anti (g473) an-tee'; a prim. particle; opposite, i.e. instead or because of (rarely in addition to): - for, in the room of. Often used in composition to denote contrast, requital, substitution, correspondence, etc.

1 Peter 3:21NAS  Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body

but as an appeal to God for a clear conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

(That, by the way, is what baptism pictures for us: In baptism we show that we have been saved from death and doom by the resurrection of Christ;

not because our bodies are washed clean by the water but because in being baptized we are turning to God and asking him to cleanse our hearts from sin.) 1 Peter 3:21LIV

Matt. 21:25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?

1Cor. 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
John 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

1John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit,
        but try the spirits whether they are of God:
        because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Church Creed: Jesus Christ We believe that Jesus Christ IS GOD who became HUMAN to save us from our sins.

1John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:
        Every spirit that confesseth that JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH

        is of God:

1John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh IS NOT OF GOD: and this is that SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Rom. 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord,
        which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

THIRTY YEARS LATER GOD'S SPIRIT SAID "THIS IS MY SON" AFTER HE WAS SANCTIFIED OR GIVEN A HOLY SPIRIT.

THIRTY THREE YEARS LATER IT WAS PROVEN.

Rom. 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Rom. 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, THAT he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
SPROLES: In Part One, Greear exposes
        the LIE that it would be better to have Jesus beside us now. Really.
Eph. 1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
Eph. 1:17 That the GOD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST
        the Father of glory, may give unto you
           the SPIRIT OF WISDOM and REVELATION
           KNOWLEDGE  of him:

Eph. 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened
        That ye may know what is the hope of his calling,
        and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Eph. 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward WHO BELIEVE,
        according to the working of his mighty power,

MEANING:

Eph. 3:17 That CHRIST MAY DWELL IN YOUR HEARTS BY FAITH
         that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Eph. 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth,
        and length, and depth, and height;

Eph. 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,
        that ye might be FILLED WITH ALL THE FULNESS OF GOD

Eph. 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Eph. 3:21 Unto him be GLORY in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Rom. 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
g1391. δόξα doxa, dox´-ah; from the base of 1380; glory (as very apparent), in a wide application (literal or figurative, objective or subjective): — dignity, glory(-ious), honour, praise, worship.
g1392. δοξάζω doxazo, dox-ad´-zo; from 1391; to render (or esteem) glorious (in a wide application): — (make) glorify(-ious), full of (have) glory, honour, magnify.

SINGING PRAISE SONGS CALLS GOD A LIAR AND MOCKS JESUS AS YOU CRUCIFY HIM AGAIN.
SPROLES: Yes, the Christian faith unquestionably relies on the person and work of Jesus.

Jesus thanks you very much; HE thought that God gave ALL THINGS INTO HIS HANDS!
Heb. 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory,
        and the express image of his person,
        and upholding all things by the word of his power,
        when he had by himself purged our sins,
        sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Heb. 5:9 And being made perfect,
        he became the AUTHOR of ETERNAL SALVATION UNTO ALL THEM THAT OBEY HIM.
Heb. 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the AUTHOR and FINISHER of OUR FAITH who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Heb. 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
YET, Jesus himself told us that it is better for the Holy Spirit to come.
         “Jesus claimed that having the Holy Spirit IN  [his disciples]
          would be better than having him beside them”

WHAT HOLY SCRIPTURE SAYS;
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is EXPEDIENT for you that I go away:
        for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you;
        but if I depart, I will SEND HIM TO YOU.

It is better for Sons FROM God who are taught BY God to Honor Jesus: Without exception when those who claim that A SPIRIT is now speaking to THEM. In one congregation 300 out of 900 walked out or soon left. That Congregation ceased to exist and believers are BETTER OFF..

Neither Jesus nor anyone who speaks HIS WORDS ONLY are IN the WORLD (ECUMENICAL) but not OF this world.

John 16:8 And when he is come,
        he will reprove the world of sin,
        and of righteousness,
        and of judgment:
John 16:9 Of sin, because they BELIEVE NOT IN ME [They claim that He is in heaven and disabled];
John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged

OF THE HOLY SPIRIT COMFORTER OR PARACLETE,
1Tim. 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Heb. 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

    The word
parakletos is a verbal adjective, often used of one called to help in a lawcourt. In the Jewish tradition the word was transcribed with Hebrew letters and used for angels, prophets, and the just as advocates before God's court. WITNESS

Demosthenes 18 Citizens of Athens, I do not doubt that you are all pretty well aware that this trial has been the center of keen partisanship and active canvassing, for you saw the people who were accosting and annoying you just now at the casting of lots.
  But I have to make a request which ought to be granted without asking, that you will all give less weight to private entreaty or personal influence than to the SPIRIT OF JUSTICE and to the oath which you severally swore when you entered that box. You will reflect that justice and the oath concern yourselves and the commonwealth,

        whereas the importunity and party
SPIRIT of advocates
        serve the end of those private ambitions
        which you are convened by the laws to thwart,
        not to encourage for the advantage of evil-doers.DD

More below; it is the SPIRIT OF CHRIST Which SPOKE only to the Apostles who left us a RECORD which cannot be read by those NOT OF TRUTH.
David Young: Finally, after 2000 years the truth is revealed.

And I’m grateful for it. Seriously.
        But I’m also so glad that we’ve recognized the many shortcomings
        [Every Biblical practice of The Church of Christ is DEBUNKED in the VISION]
              in this kind OF incomplete view OF salvation.
        I’m so glad that we’re acknowledging together
              the active role OF
[1] God’s Spirit in the [2] calling and [3] saving
        and
[4]  sanctifying of the saints.
And I’m glad we can change. I’m so glad, by God’s GRACE,
        we’re allowed and even compelled to change.

The Holy Spirit Comforter or Paraclete comes to PASS JUDGEMENT on those who do not CONTINUE in the Word of Christ.

The SPIRIT OF TRUTH Is Jesus in the STATE (never a person) of SPIRIT and delivers ONLY what Jesus Taught the Apostles and Prophets as EYE WITNESSES. A Preacher is an EYE witness sent by God, Taught by Jesus and SCRIBES left us a "memory" in clay vessels meaning NOT TO CHANGE.

ONLY BAPTIZED BELIEVERS HAVING RECEIVED "A" HOLY SPIRIT OR A GOOD CONSCIENCE WHEN BAPTISM NOW SAVES US can read Black Test on Brown Paper (2 Corinthinas 3)

THE FORM OF JESUS' BAPTISM TO BE SANCTIFIED (g37) AND SENT IS:

You have NO POWER to add beyond the GOSPEL message. You can't make a disciple of Christ by adding FRIENDSHIP EVANGELISM. That makes you more powerfull that God.

God gives Sons FROM God A holy spirit SO THAT they can understand the Holy Scriptures. Never believe anyone who claims that they have a NEW Spirit to replace the one GOD PUT INTO HIS CHILDREN.
Ezek. 11:19 And I will give them ONE HEART,
       and I will put a NEW SPIRIT within you;
    and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh,
        and will give them an heart of flesh
Ezek. 11:20 THAT they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them:
      and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
Ezek. 11:21 But as for them whose heart
      walketh after the heart [imagination] of their detestable things and their abominations,
      I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

Ezek. 18:30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel,
       every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD.
       REPENT, and TURN yourselves from all your transgressions;
        so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
Ezek. 18:30  Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel,
        every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD.
        Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
Ezek. 18:31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed;
        and make you A NEW HEART and A NEW SPIRIT: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

There are no articles in the Greek but from parallel statements at Baptism we "call on the name of the Lord" requesting A holy spirit without which you cannot understand Holy Scripture.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them,
        Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
        for the remission of sins,
        and ye shall receive the gift of A Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children,

http://www.somis.org/TDD-01.html Holy Scripture defines The Assembly of Christians as a SCHOOL OF THE WORD ONLY.  This pattern is defined as SCHOOL a dozen times or more. God knew that without defining THE PATTERN men would develop CULTS devoted to a teacher and his new doctrines. Such men are prophesied with having great power to impose lying wonders or Worship Operations. The other way God did a KNEE CAP job on false teachers is that HE GAVE HONEST TEACHERS NO FUNDING.  Honorable Preachers are never rich and famous because ministry means to serve other

BUILDING MISSIONAL COMMUNITIES

MISSIONAL THEOLOGY DEMANDS THE RESTORATION OF THE FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY INCLUDING NEW APOSTLES AND PROPHETS.

God sent Apostles, Prophets and SCRIBE to leave US a Record to prevent FALSE APOSTLES from replacing GOD.
Matt. 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes:
        and some of them ye shall kill and crucify;
        and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues,
        and persecute them from city to city:
Luke 11:49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God,
        I will send them prophets and apostles,
        and some of them they shall slay and persecute:

Or Duct Tape their mouths by. songs and sermons.

JESUS DEFINED 'HOLY SCRIPTURE' AS THE PROPHETS AND APOSTLES..  Therefore the only EDUCATIONAL resource is:

Eph. 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
        Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; [Only teacher in silent and secret places: not in houses]
Eph. 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men,
        as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
Eph. 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places
      might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
NEITHER GOD, HIS SPIRIT, JESUS CHRIST NOR THE GOD-SENT APOSTLES WERE CAPABLE OF MAKING DISCIPLES WHO ARE STUDENTS OF JESUS CHRIST ONLY..

DAVID YOUNG:  So, what is a disciple? It’s simple: A disciple is someone who follows someone else, learns from them and is transformed BY them.

GOD THE ALMIGHTY: 1Cor. 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

A DISCIPLE OF SOCRATES DOES NOT FOLLOW SOCTRATES BUT THE DOCUMENTS WHICH DEFINE HIS DOCTRINES.
3101. μαθητής mathetes, math-ay-tes´; from 3129; a learner, i.e. pupil: — disciple.
3129. μανθάνω manthano, man-than´-o; prolongation from a primary verb, another form of which, μαθέω matheo, is used as an alternate in certain tenses; to learn (in any way): — learn, understand.

Rom. 15:4 For whatsoever things were WRITTEN aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Rom. 15:5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
Rom. 15:6 That ye may ONE MIND AND ONE MOUTH glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

DAVID YOUNG:  It’s not enough to give people facts about the Gospel. People require Christian relationships in order to mature fully as Christians.This is why disciple making is so important. Disciplemaking uses the events, the programs, the sermons, and the classes of the church, and applies them personally to each person to help them grow into mature believers.

2Pet. 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things;
        in which are some things hard to be understood,
        which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest,
        as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
2Pet. 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before,
        beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
2Pet. 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus

AGAIN THIS IS A MARK OF STRONG DELUSIONS FORCED TO BELIEVE THEIR OWN LIES.

Eph. 4:15 But speaking the truth in love,
        may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
1Pet. 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the WORD, that ye may grow thereby:

STANDING IN YOUR HOLY PLACE CLAIMING TO BE SUPERIOR TO GOD IS THE MARK OF BURNING.

THE HOLY SPIRIT: Jude warned about the Instrumental-Trinitarian-Perverted worship of the golden calf.

Rom. 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:
        for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;
        to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Jude 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation,
        it was needful for me to write unto you,
        and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith
            which was once delivered unto the saints.
Jude 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares,
        who were before of old ordained to this condemnation,
        ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness,
        and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

DAVID YOUNG:

Disciples are handcrafted or they are not made at all.

Compare disciplemaking to raising a child. Children need more than mere information about how to grow up. You don’t simply give children an instruction manual and expect them to know how to be a person. Rather, a child requires loving parents—people who love children enough to inspire, correct, hold accountable

Disciples of Christ are SONS OF GOD and TAUGHT by God.

Eph. 3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

A DISCIPLE IS A STUDENT AND ATTENDS WEEKLY SCHOOLS OF CHRIST. A DISCIPLE IS NEITHER PREACHER NOR EVANGELISTS WHO MUST BE SENT TO TEACH, SUFFER AND DIE.

THOSE WHO BLASPHEME AND CLAIM TO BE GREATER THAN GOD WERE FOREORDAINED TO THIS JUDGMENT.

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him:
        and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:45 It is written in the prophets,
        And they shall be all taught of  [BY] God. Every man therefore that hath heard,
        and hath learned OF THE FATHER cometh unto me.
John 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

John 6:63 It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth;
        the flesh profiteth nothing:
        the words that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE.
John 6:64 But there are some of you that believe not.
        For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
John 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you,
        that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Fathe
Matt. 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
Matt. 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said,
        Thou art the Christ, the SON of the living God.
Matt. 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona:
        for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee,
        but my Father which is in heaven.
Matt. 16:18 And I say also unto thee,
        That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church;
        and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Matt. 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven:
        and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:
        and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

2John 3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father,
        and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
2John 4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth,
        as we have received a commandment from the Father.
2John 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
Eph. 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

MOCKING THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE DISCIPLES

Matt. 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee,
        into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
Matt. 28:17 And when they saw hi
m, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
Matt. 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
       All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Matt. 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach [enroll STUDENTS] all nations,
        baptizing them in the name [singular] of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matt. 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
            and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

World is the MESSIANIC AGE and A Christian Asssembly--by Definition--will SPEAK or READ that which has alredy been PREACHED.

Rom. 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:
        for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;
        to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
1Cor. 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness;
        but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
1Cor. 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks,
        Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Jesus is still on the Throne and the ONLY Teacher of the "prophets and other prophecies concerning me."

The recent development of an ecclesiastical hierarchy among the discipling churches is a clear break with their roots in the heritage of the Restoration Movement. What they are doing now is a clear violation of congregational autonomy.

THE PATTERN IS TO DISSOCIATE  MINDS SO THAT THEY MUST FIRST HATE THEIR PRESENT CHURCH AND PRACTICES:

I appreciate the LOUD rhetoric but that is what Jesus died to outlaw:  A LADED BURDEN which creates SPIRITUAL AND MENTAL ANXIETY is what Jesus died to stop. The absolute PATTERN which is defined and exampled a dozen times is to assemble and READ and REHEARSE the Word of God.  Sabbath in Hebrew is PAUO in Greek and demands that you STOP the Rhetoric, Singing, Playing instruments and collect a fee. Jesus outlaws everything beyond the word SPEAK or READ that which is written for our learning.

HOWEVER, OF THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH PARACLETE TO THE APOSTLES ONLY

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, is come,
        he will guide you into ALL truth: for he shall not speak of himself;
       but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
John 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I,
       that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Caes. Civ. 3.105 When Caesar arrived in Asia he found that T. Ampius, having formed the design of seizing the treasures of the Ephesian Diana, and summoned all the senators in the province to bear witness to the sum taken, had quitted that project upon Caesar's approach, and betaken himself to flight. Thus was the temple of Ephesus a second time saved from plunder by Caesar.

"The instruments were used as worship to God and to give glory and elat to the earthly kingdom. They were tolerated by God as were many other things during this period, that he did not approve. The establishment of the kingdom itself was an act of rebellion against God" (David Lipscomb, Queries and Answers, pp. 226, 227, and Gospel Advocate, 1899, pp. 376, 377).

"Sometimes religion produces suggestive rituals shared by a community to create an atmosphere useful for uplifting one's thoughts and coming to one's senses. There are those who cannot do without such forms of worship. Where, however, the form takes the place of meditation, or conditions it; where human words prevail over the Spirit.. then we are no longer in the presence of true religion.

"The one who uses colours and sounds and forms and movements and other gifts of God under the illusion of creating a stairway to heaven out of his own resources can, even involuntarily and in good faith, be raising an invisible barrier between humanity and God himself. The Church is built (educated in the assembly) by the Prophets and Apostles. Jesus defined the Prophecies "concerning me" as the only textbook for the school.  I was rebuked for referencing prophets whom Paul was obviously explaining.  As my late brother in law warned, "if you speak up they will set you on the back pew." That happened before the brain damaging singing drove me to the sick bed. That was several years before being accused of leading a revolt.  The Community and the "lost sheep" believes the false doctrine being imposed.

Both Apostle and Preacher (inspired-sent) were eye and ear witnesses of the risen Christ and guiding them into all truth. They delivered the Last Will and Testament of Jesus Christ. Elders in a continuing sense have the duty to Teach that which has been taught.  ALL of the patterns for the assembly is to READ and speak "that which is written for our learning." The congregation does not serve a 'preacher' by getting USED and tired engaging in 'projects' the unfunded preacher hatches up to keep from getting fired.

James A. Harding, "The pastor is not a necessity. He is a FUNGUS GROWTH upon the church, the body of Christians, DWARFING its growth, PREVENTING its development of its members; and until the church GETS RID of him it will NEVER prosper as it should. In the Bible we can find all the necessities.

"I can testify from my own observation that a good eldership will lose its efficiency, and its members become both UNABLE and UNWILLING to do the work of elders, in a very few years after the employment of a pastor. And if under the pastor system a good eldership has ever developed, I have never seen or heard of the case. I don't believe that has or ever will be done." --  Gospel Advocate, May 20, 1885
