Ex Church of Christ the Blueprint

Rulers are Ignorant of The Reading of the Prophets

As a result of the Instrumental-Trinitarian-Perverted 'play' at Mount Sinai:
First: God abandoned the Priests and Levites to worship the Starry Host..
                Acts.7.Temple.Not.Commanded.html
That included Apollo or Apollyon which they brought from Egypt.
    Second:
The Church in the wilderness or synagogue was defined as THE PATTERN.

Gentiles were "wise unto salvation" because they attended the SABBATH (rest, now worship) where the singular pattern was continued as the singular blueprint for the School of Jesus:

The blueprint for the synagogue where the godly never went to Jerusalem

Acts 15:21 For Moses of old time
        hath in every city
them that PREACH him, being READ
[blueprint]
In the synagogues every sabbath day.  [Once each week with no collection plate]

The blue print of Jesus where God prepared him to fulfill the priestly pattern.

Luke 4:16 And he came to Nazareth,
where he had been brought up: [educated]
and, as his custom  [blueprint] was,
he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day,
[Once each week with no collection plate]
and stood up for to READ.  [From the prophets]

The blue print of Paul where as the pattern.

Acts 13:15 And after the READING
of the law and the prophets
the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying,
Ye men and brethren, if ye have any WORD of exhortation [comfort] for the people, say on.

The blueprint for any Schooll of Christ and not a cult.

Eph. 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross,
        having slain the enmity thereby:
Eph. 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
Eph. 2:18 For through him we both have ACCESS by one SPIRIT {Jesus} unto the Father.

1Cor. 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul;
the last Adam was made a quickening SPIRIT.
Eph. 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.
And if any man sin, we have an advocate [paraclete]
with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins:
and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
1John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
Eph. 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners,
         but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Eph. 2:20 And are built upon  [Educated in the synagogue-ekklesia]
the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
Jesus Christ himself being the chief [There is ONE rabbi who teaches his flock]
corner stone; [The angelus agle of a building, silent and secret]
Eph. 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Hab. 2:20 But the LORD is in his holy temple:
let all the earth keep silence before him.

The Church of Christ is the School of Christ: the PATTERN was ordained in the wilderness when the "Jews" fell into Instrumental-Trinitarian-Perverted Idolatry.

It is a STRONG DELUSION that God ever commanded a DAY for worship.
It is a STRONG DELUSION that God ever commanded any action by the hands of men as worship.
It is a STRONG DELUSION to claim that Jesus died in vain unable to "supply all that applies to life and godliness."
It is a STRONG DELUSION that God ever authorized ANY FUNDING for any funded STAFF to ride on the backs of widows
It is a STRONG DELUSION to claim that God commanded SINGING with or without a Mechanical Device.
It is a STRONG DELUSION and a LIE that there is a Law of Tithing or a Law of Giving

It is the DEFINITION of a CULT to operate a center of SANCTITY with command authority, controlling the member's life several days during the week.

John 8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you:
        but he that sent me is true;
and I SPEAK to the world those things
which I have HEARD of him.
John 8:27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them,
When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
then shall ye know that I am he,
        and that I do nothing of myself;
but as my Father hath taught me,
                I speak these things.

John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me:
        the Father hath not left me alone;
for I DO always those things that PLEASE him.
John 8:30 As he spake these WORDS, many believed on him.
John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,
        IF ye continue in my WORD, THEN are ye my disciples indeed;

John 14:22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord,
how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him,
If a man love me, he will keep my WORDS:
and my Father will love him,
and we will come unto him,
and make our abode with him.
John 14:24 He that loveth me NOT keepeth not my sayings:
and the word which ye hear is not mine,
but the Father’s which sent me.

The Ex-Church of Christ blame others for their false and ANTI-Christ dogma. Some church fired them for being CLOSET sectarians.  Nothing done by some silly preachers can excuse them for taking the MARK OF THE BEAST: The Beast (serpent) is A new style of deceptive singing or a Satyric (perverted Pan) drama.

Exod 32:6 And they rose up early on the morrow,

Ex-Church of Christ Anti Authority:
Speaking where the Bible speaks, and silent where the Bible is silent. (About 20% of Churches of Christ keep the following rules strictly.)

All Disciples of Christ keep that rule. The masked man who runes the Ex- pages is NOT and can never have been a Disciple of Christ or a member of a Church of Christ. He sounds like a Baptist. The command is to "Speak that which is written for our learning" (Romans 15).

Ex-Church of Christ Anti Authority: This method of establishing authority is based on a mistaken premise: There must be a rulebook in the New Testament for the work, worship and organization of the local congregation.

Why would one think that there has to be a rulebook for the church? Where did this idea come from?  Certainly not from the New Testament. Jesus never worried about rules for worship either in the synagogue or in the coming church that he was establishing.

Yes Christ did: after the fall into musical idolatry of the Egyptian (etal) trinity, Christ the Rock ordained the Qahal, Synagogue or Church of Christ in the Wilderness.  Stephen in Acts 7 explains the musical fall from grace and why God sentenced them to beyond Babylon.

The Synagogue had TWO rules and NO staff.  The PATTERN for The Book of The Covenant which was Patriarchal was restated by Paul in Galatians 3: we become sons of Abraham by faith when we are baptized into Christ the seed of Abraham.

Ex. 18:20 And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws,
and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk,
and the work that they must do.

In the most trifling affairs be who neglects a commission, must be condemned by a most dishonouring sentence; what punishment ought to be inflicted on that man who has not hindered some private advantage by his carelessness, but has polluted and stained by his treachery the solemnity of the very commission itself? or by what sentence shall he be condemned?

In Exodus 32 the people operating on the "law of silence" sinned without redemption.

AFTER THE FALL INTO MUSICAL IDOLATRY OF THE TRINITY
Theodoret (Quasten, Music & Worship, p. 65) claimed that the Jews brought liturgical music from Egypt and Philo wrote that "Moses learned rhythm, harmony, meter and everything concerned with instrumental music from the Egyptians." This is why Moses knew that the noise at Mount Sinai was not the sound of defeat or of victory. Rather, it was the "sound of them singing that I hear."

The Jews sang in the type of the Egyptian threnodies (elegies for the dead):
Thus they made a golden bull, the image of an animal that was held to be the most sacred in that land; they offered unholy sacrifices, performed impious dances and sang hymns which differed in no way from the pagan mourning songs. Philo, De specialibus legibus

"The trumpet... was the signaling instrument of the Egyptian army. The name of the Sistrum (2 Sam 6:5) was mena'ane'im. It was the Egyptian kemken used in the cult of Isis.

The music during the transferring the Ark to Sion (David rose up to play)
and the dances of the women at the Shiloh (Judges 21:21), were similar to the Egyptian liturgy and parades.

"As Herodotus reports, women sang the praises of Osiris while liknesses of the gods were born about and, during the festival of Diana at Bubastis,
........... Women's singing was a vital part of all pagan worship. In very
........... times women became priestly singers of the gods in the temple.

"Women and girls from the different ranks of society were proud to enter the service of the gods as singers and musicians. The understanding of this service was universal: these singers constituted the 'harem of the gods'." (Johannes Quasten. In Music and Worship in Pagan and Christian Antiquity, beginning on page 41)

The Egyptian Opis (The Golden Calf or Apis) and others which Israel worshipped at Mount Sinal were worshipped throughout the area. "In preference to all other hymns these choirs generally sang the so-called epiphany hymns, which were intended to invite the gods to appear. Plutarch wrote:

Why do the women of Elis call upon God in song to approach them with the bull's foot? Their song is the following:

Come, Dionysus, Hero,
into the holy temple of Elis,
together with the Graces
come violently into the temple with the bull's foot!
Then they sang twice at the end: "Sacred Bull!" (Johannes Quasten, Music & Worship
in Pagan and Christian Antiquity, p. 76)

Choirs of young girls often officiated and they wore garments of the dancers consecrated to the gods. (The ephod was once a feminine apron)

"The triumphal hymn of Moses had unquestionably a religious character about it; but the employment of music in religious services, though idolatrous, is more distinctly marked in the festivities which attended the erection of the golden calf." (Smith's Bible Dictionary, Music, p. 589).

Ephraim Syrus On Our Lord notes that Sinai was a test.
19. But when Moses came down, he saw their heathenism revelling in the wide plain with drums and cymbals.

Speedily, he put their madness to shame by means of the Levites and drawn swords.

So likewise here, our Lord concealed His knowledge for a little when the sinful woman approached Him, that the Pharisee might form into shape his thought,
........ as his fathers had shaped the pernicious calf.

Cynics Diogenes, in particular, was referred to as the Dog.. a distinction he seems to have revelled in, stating that "other dogs bite their enemies, I bite my friends to save them."  Later Cynics also sought to turn the word to their advantage, as a later commentator explained:
There are four reasons why the Cynics are so named. First because of the indifference of their way of life, for they make a cult of indifference and, like dogs, eat and make love in public, go barefoot, and sleep in tubs and at crossroads. The second reason is that the dog is a shameless animal, and they make a cult of shamelessness, not as being beneath modesty, but as superior to it. The third reason is that the dog is a good guard, and they guard the tenets of their philosophy. The fourth reason is that the dog is a discriminating animal which can distinguish between its friends and enemies. So do they recognize as friends those who are suited to philosophy, and receive them kindly, while those unfitted they drive away, like dogs, by barking at them.

THERE WERE NO MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS UNDER THE LAW OF MOSES

Blowing a horn would be like a church bell: the signal was simple and not musical in any sense.  However, the giddy people in the small tribal groups would be--like Miriam and the women--prone to break out in the "praise" singing, clapping and "making noise on istruments of delusion."

in Greek and Latin literature. The galli were eunuchs attired in female garb, with long hair fragrant with ointment.

Together with priestesses, they celebrated the Great Mother's rites with wild music and dancing until their frenzied excitement found its culmination in self-scourging, self-laceration, or exhaustion. Self-emasculation by candidates for the priesthood sometimes accompanied this delirium of worship. Mother of the gods

The name galli may be Phrygian, from the two streams called Gallus, both tributaries of the Sangarius (now Sakarya) River, the waters of which were said to inspire religious frenzy.

Aristot. Rh. 2.24 The second kind of fallacy of diction is homonymy.2 For instance, if one were to say that the mouse is an important animal, since from it is derived the most honored of all religious festivals, namely, the mysteries3; or if, in praising the dog, one were to include the dog in heaven (Sirius), or Pan, because Pindar said,4 “ O blessed one, whom the Olympians call dog of the Great Mother

Pan is called “the dog of Cybele,” the great nature-goddess of the Greeks, as being always in attendance on her, being himself a nature-god. The fact that Pindar calls Pan “dog” is taken as a glorification of that animal.

Share he with sharpened flint the freight wherewith his form was fraught.

WHAT IS DIRECTLY COMMANDED FOR THE CHURCH: before the all into musical idolatry Jethro instructed Moses how to teach The Book of the Covenant (Exodus 18)

Every seven years, that is in the year of release, during the feast of Tabernacles, the Law was to be read before all the people according to the command found in Deut., xxxi, 10.

But this enactment was probably soon found to be impracticable; and thus the Jewish authorities arranged to read on every sabbath, commencing with the sabbath after the feast of Tabernacles in one year of release and ending with the feast of Tabernacles in the next year of release, a portion of the Law so calculated that the whole Pentateuch would be read through in seven years.

This would in some way the commandment be fulfilled. Some time later, the Jews of Palestine lengthened the sections for each sabbath in such a manner that he entire Law could be read in three years (Talm. Babyl. Megillah, 29b).

Miqra (h4744) mik-raw'; from 7121; something called out, i. e. a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal: - assembly, calling, convocation, reading.

So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading. Ne.8:8

That PATTERN never changed even for the Church of Christ: both Jew and Gentile was ready for the Kingdom of Christ where He RULES ad King.

Acts 15:21 For Moses of old time
        hath in every city
        them

being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Ex-Church of Christ Anti Authority: The practice of establishing authority by command, apostolic example and necessary inference, is a doctrine that descends from the reformed Presbyterians (Alexander Campbell).

That's utterly false: the Bible, all historic scholars and all founders of denominations defined the church as APOSTOLIC.  Peter said that the Church of Christ is built or educated on the prophets by the Spirit of Christ and the prophecies made more perfect by Jesus Christ and left for our "memory" by eye and ear witnesses.

And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence. Is.4:5
First, a Disciple will seek to understand commands, will follow examples related to the function of church as A School of Christ (Christ, Paul, history and the Campbells).

Second, no historical scholar missed the fact that God commands as we command. Why deprive Him of that authority.  The History of Commands, Examples and Inferences.
Musica, magica, exegetice are all outlawed as "doubtful disputations" or "private interpretations" which would include all non-expository sermons and ALL songs.  John called them SORCERERS and all pagans believed that the gods lived IN or spoke THROUGH their musical instruments.  David wanted to arouse his lyre so he could awaken the dawn.

CHRIST IN SPIRIT SPOKE THROUGH THE PROPHETS: He defined the future REST (not a worship service both inclusively and exclusively.  This is derived from the Prophets and not what He called "the lying pen of the Scribes.  The TWO paths are absolute.

Ex-Church of Christ Anti Authority: The only teaching we have from Jesus about church life is when Jesus tells people how to draw the line on troublesome people (Matt. 18:15-17). If Jesus was interested in congregational work and worship, why did he never ever comment on it? Jesus said quite a bit, none of it about congregational work and worship. Anyone who wants to be the church of Christ should pay attention to that fact.

It is important NOT to miss the future Church inclusively and exclusively in the prophets including judgment to those who reject baptism

In Matthew Jesus established that if you REJECT baptism you will not ENTER, you will not SEE the kingdom of God.

Mt 18:2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
Mt 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you,
Except ye be converted, and become as little children,
ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mt 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child,
the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Mt 18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
Mt 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Mt 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord,
        shall ENTER into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them,
I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

THE KINGDOM OF CHRIST IS WITHIN YOU: DOES NOT COME WITH OBSERVATIONS

Jesus said that the Kingdom does not come to Religious observations. The Church of Christ is a School of Christ and does not do "worship" services not directed to "teaching that which has been taught" or that which is written for our learning:

Jn 4:20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and
ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
Jn 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me,
the hour cometh, when ye shall
        neither in this mountain, [PLACE]
        nor yet at Jerusalem,
        worship the Father. [PLACE]
Jn 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is OF the Jews.

Jn 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the
true [Truthful] worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit [PLACE] and in truth:
for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Jn 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him
must worship him in spirit [PLACE]
        and in truth.

Why was this sinful woman more literate that the PURPOSE DRIVEN CULTS with their WORSHIP SPECTACLES?

Jn 4:25 The woman saith unto him,
        I know that Messias cometh,
which is called Christ: when he is come,
he will TELL us all things.
Jn 4:26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Saying, I will DECLARE thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church [ekklesia or synagogue] will I sing praise (hymn) unto thee. Heb 2:12

FIRST: DECLARE in Greek is:
Apagello (g518) ap-ang-el'-lo; from 575 and the base of 32; to announce: - bring word (again), declare, report, shew (again), tell.
Aggelos (g32) ang'-el-os; from aggello, [prob. der. from 71; comp. 34] (to bring tidings); a messenger; esp. an "angel"; by impl. a pastor: - angel, messenger

SECOND: Jesus grieves out a hymn.
Apalgeo (g524) ap-alg-eh'-o; from 575 and algeo (to SMART); to GRIEVE out, i.e. become APATHETIC: - be past feeling

This was to guard the human spirit as the PLACE of worship to not "break down the walls" to let the DOGS and SORCERERS and WOLVES INSIDE of our human spirits.
Jn 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the
true [Truthful] worshippers shall worship the Father in
        spirit
 [PLACE] and in truth:
for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Jn 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him
must worship him in spirit [PLACE]
        and in truth.

Jn 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

Jn 4:26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he
FINALLY, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. Phil 3:1

Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. Phil 3:2

For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. Phil 3:3

The ONLY worship words mean to "give attendance to the Word of God."

For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Re.22:15

But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. 2Pe.2:22

Ex-Church of Christ Anti Authority: "Zwingli" banned musical instruments from churches because they obstructed the focus on the preaching, but he encouraged lively singing. He instituted the Lord's Supper with the members sitting at a long table with wooden cups of wine and wooden platters of bread. He died defending Zurich against an attacking army sent by the Roman church.

NOT SO: not even the Catholics ever used the ORGAN (only) to accompany congregational singing. Faithful to the Bible they SPOKE or Cantillated the Word of God which had no meter anc could not be sung tunefully. The organ was imposed by rich merchants at the Fair towns to attract crowds.

No one in the Bible or recorded history before Zwingli missed the point that there is no command, example or remote inference that any congregation ever sang with or without instruments. Zwingli objected to SINGING because there was no hint that you use singing when adults meet to be students of the Word.

Ex-Church of Christ Anti Authority:  5. The early organization of congregations in the New Testament mirrored exactly the Jewish synagogue. The Jewish synagogue organization had no authority in the "silence" of the Old Testament. There was no unit in the OT like the synagogue. There was the family, the tribe, the nation, the priesthood, the temple, the Sanhedrin, but no synagogue congregation with elders. Yet Jesus and the apostle Paul seemed quite happy to work within its structure as long as they were permitted. They never spoke out against its organization, nor did they ask where the authority for the synagogue came from.

We have shown that Christ the Rock ordained the Qahal (synagogue) or Church of Christ in the wilderness. That continued for the GODLY people who never attended "worship services" at the temple on the REST day.
Psalms 74:8 They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.
We noted in Exodus 18 above that teaching leaders of groups as small as ten were to be organized. The Synagogue which existed as The Church of Christ in the Wilderness could be organized with ten families in their local area: there were hundreds of Synagogues in or around Jerusalem and none of them held "worship services." A disciple goes to Bible class: that's what the synagogue was and it "never had a praise service" by direct command.
Ex-Church of Christ Anti Authority: 6. The hard-line Churches of Christ are quite happy to have a God who switches rules without logic, from the OT to the NT. Even though they use logic to figure out the rules; the logic is divested of its intuitive sense. Some are even proud of this counterintuitive paranoia. ("God has a reason that we may not know about.") This presupposition is foreshadowed in Calvin's view of a god who pre-determines who will be saved and lost, and there is nothing you can do about it.

That's just fabricated: The Cross was to get the Civil-Military-Clergy complex off the backs of people so that the people would be free to "go outside the camp" and REST from the laded burden  (songs) and of the twos and threes: "Come learn of Me."

Ex-Church of Christ Anti Authority: 7. The hard-line Churches of Christ also don't seem to find it strange that God would hide his rulebook in a history of the early Church. It does not seem odd to some churches of Christ that the rules for the Israelites were clearly laid out in the Law of Moses, but now in the New Testament we have to carefully sift out the rules from the examples and expediencies with the skill of paranoid lawyers. ("To be safe we must not use instrumental music.")

The EX Masked Man has never read Acts 7:

Acts 7:38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

Acts 7:39 To whom our fathers would not obey,
but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

Acts 7:40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

Acts 7:41 And they made a calf in those days,
and offered sacrifice unto the idol,
and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

The Egyptian Opis (Apis) and others which Israel worshipped at Mount Sinal were worshipped throughout the area.
Then they sang twice at the end: "Sacred Bull!" (Johannes Quasten, Music & Worship in Pagan and Christian Antiquity, p. 76)
"For nonliterate peoples, music often serves purposes other than entertainment or aesthetic enjoyment. Certain wind instrument are closely associated with the supernatural, and their sounds connote powerful magic. Australian Aborigines, for instance, identify the sound of a bull-roarer with thevoices of supernatural beings; for the Plains Indians, the same sound signifies an awesome natural phenomenon, such as thunder. Wind instruments are often among a group's most important ritual objects, and in some cultures they are specially venerated. The Kamairua Indians of the Amazon rain forest keep their giant flutes (three to four feet long), wherein spirits are believed to dwell, in a special shrine where they are worshiped. The flutes and drums of New Guinea are similarly housed and worshiped.
"Wind instruments in primitive cultures also serve nonreligious functions. In New Guinea, bamboo trumpets were once played
to frighten an enemyduring battle and
to
alert a village that the victorious warriors were coming home with the corpses of the foes.
"Conch-shell trumpets are used for signaling in the Pacific coastal regions of Columbia and in the Ecuadoran highlands.
Trumpets also may be associated with the office of king or chief, as in West Africa,
where their use is
strictly controlled by tribal law. "wind instrument" Encyclopædia Britannica Online.
The Ghebers of Hebron 2 Hoaea, xii. 4 derives the name Inracl from Sarah to contend, to fight, and El = God of Fire. — Gen. xxxii. '28. But these fire-worshippers carried with them the arks of Moloch and Khiun (Life-god), their Adon, and they had, like the other peoples of the Delta, their Mysteries, which the priests instituted. They took with them from Phoenicia, probably, a certain knowledge of fixed vocal signs; and it would not be safe to deny to Syria the possession of some sort of (Syrian) hieroglyphs

In the cuneiform writing the Jews were named laudi.— Schrader, Keilinschr. n. d. Alt. Test. 188. Audah, in Hebrew, means ' I will praise.' This reveals the original name of Ju- dea, the land of And. If we follow St. Jerome's dictum " to write a ' he' but to read it an «," we will find that Isaiah, xix. 17, has " laiidah's laud " instead of Jeudah's land. By a Hebrew pun, Genesis, xxix. 35, gives us ' Audah' as the root of the name laudah. Ami's altar was sprinkled with blood. Saturn's name was Chion, the Living One. Saturn's altars were blood-besprinkled. The horns of lachoh's (lao's) altars were blood-besprinkled on Saturn's day. The right ears of Aharon and his sons, their right thumbs, their right great toes, and their garments were sprinkled with blood.—Exodus, xxix. 12, 116, 20, 21. For the life of the flesh is in the blood.—Leviticus, xvii. G, 11. Chion was the Achiah asur Achiah, of Exodus, iii. 14, the Living God of Time, Set or Saturn. Compare Daniel, vii. 13. For Chion (like Moloch) was the name of the Living One!

We find the cities of the priests with the brothers (fratres) in their orders, in 2 Chronicles, xxxi. 15. A deity, regarded as the pure, holy fire, cannot be approached by the ordinary man; a priest-caste is requisite, to which the preservation of the sacred fire-place is entrusted, and which by mortifyings (of the flesh) and torments self-inflicted must make itself worthy of the access to the deity and its revelation. We find among the Old Canaanites no proper priesthood, but everywhere in Palestine, according to the Scriptural accounts, where the Chaldean fire-god Moloch was adored.'

Dionysus was worshipped among the Old Kanaanites and Arabians—" where the Bacchic fire of the God leaps forth." This Fire is that of Bal Melkarth or Moloch. The worship of this Tyrian Fire-god Herakles (Archal) was carried to Tarz

GOD HAD NOT COMMANDED SACRIFICES WHEN HE SAVED THEM BY GRACE

> For I spake NOT unto your fathers, nor commanded them
in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt,
concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices: Jeremiah 7:22

> But this thing commanded I them, saying,
Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people:
and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you,
that it may be well unto you. Jeremiah 7:23

> But they HEARKENED NOT, nor inclined their ear,
but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart,
and went backward, and not forward. Jeremiah 7:24

Pind. I. 6 Just as we mix the second bowl of wine when the men's symposium is flourishing, here is the second song of the Muses for Lampon's children and their athletic victories: first in Nemea, Zeus, in your honor they received the choicest of garlands,

Pind. I. 7   In which of the local glories of the past, divinely blessed Thebe, did you most delight your spirit? Was it when you raised to eminence the one seated beside Demeter of the clashing bronze cymbals, flowing-haired [5] Dionysus? Or when you received, as a snow-shower of gold in the middle of the night, the greatest of the gods, when he stood in the doorway of Amphitryon, and then went in to the wife to beget Heracles?

But since ancient grace sleeps, and mortals are forgetful of whatever does not reach the highest bloom of skillful song, joined to glorious streams of words, [20] then begin the victory procession with a sweet-singing hymn for Strepsiades;

Aristoph. Ach. 5 Just imagine how this blow struck straight at my heart! On the other hand, what joy Dexitheus caused me at the musical competition, when he played a Boeotian melody on the lyre! But this year by contrast!

Never, however, since I began to bathe, has the dust hurt my eyes as it does to-day. Still it is the day of assembly; all should be here at daybreak, and yet the Pnyx8 is still deserted. They are gossiping in the marketplace, slipping hither and thither to avoid the vermilioned rope.9 The Prytanes10 even do not come; they will be late, but when they come they will push and fight each other for a seat in the front row. They will never trouble themselves with the question of peace.

8 A hill near the Acropolis, where the Assemblies were held.

9 Several means were used to force citizens to attend the assemblies; the shops were closed; circulation was only permitted in those streets which led to the Pnyx; finally, a rope covered with vermilion was drawn round those who dallied in the Agora (the market-place), and the late-comers, ear- marked by the imprint of the rope, were fined.

This is the PSALLO Mark of anyone who dallied around the music girls and had to be forced up to the PNX as the model of the Church. Jesus consigned the MEN acting like BOYS to the marketplace because they PIPED hoping to get Jesus to sing or lament and dance the Dionysus initiation.

See the meaning of the marketplace or Agora at a church near you.
