Hosea 4 The End of the Emasculated Priesthood

In pagan religions the priests and musicians had to be male but "perform the role of Women." This is true of the Levitical musicians. Their service, dress, and titles of songs are derived from females. There is no history of males engaging in religious music prior to the time of David. David like all of the kings had been abandoned to worship the starry host and this included Chiun or Saturn whose number is 666.  David's Ark Moving ritual included making himself vile. This is "halal" which is the root word for Lucifer and identical to Chalal which is used to mean play the flute, steal people's inheritance, pollute and prostitute.

Hos. 2:10 And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers,

The word "music" derived from "mystery" means "to make the lambs dumb before the slaughter." Or to silence the voice of the victim.  Hosea warns against the musical idolatry as does Amos and Isaiah. I will post links.

Hos 4:1 HEAR the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel:

The menorah in the Holy Place- where a singer or musician would executed if he came NEAR-is a BRANCH with 7 lamps. Chrst who speaks only to the spiritual remnant is defined in Isaiah 11 which names SEVEN SPIRITS all related to dive knowledge. We mortals cannot enhance that. Christ says that God will NOT judge by what He SEES or HEARS.  The lowly Samaritan woman grasped what most moderns cannot get close to: "When Messias comes He will tell us ALL TRUTH."  Jesus confirmed that He was the Messiah. Jesus denied that worship was at the time and house of the Jews or the time and houseof the Samaritans: worship is IN THE PLACE of the human spirit in contrast to PLACES where "church houses are located."  Paul said that the converted Jews worshipped IN THE SPIRIT as opposed to IN THE FLESH.  His purpose was to EXCLUDE the dogs or concision: like the elders turned wolves, they were the mark of the CYNICS who performed the old style praise singing like the Coyotes down in the vally seeking a mate. 

See that history knows no exception to the musical mark of an outbreak of male musicians.

"Philodemus considered it paradoxical that music should be regarded as veneration of the gods while musicians were paid for performing this so-called veneration. Again, Philodemus held as self deceptive the view that music mediated religious ecstasy. He saw the entire condition induced by the noise of cymbals and tambourines as a disturbance of the spirit.

He found it significant that, on the whole, only women and effeminate men fell into this folly.

Accordingly, nothing of value could be attributed to music; it was no more than a slave of the sensation of pleasure, which satisfied much in the same way that food and drink did.

"Women and girls from the different ranks of society were proud to enter the service of the gods as singers and musicians. The understanding of this service was universal: these singers constituted the 'harem of the gods'." (Johannas Quasten)

Gal 5:12 As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!

Here is what an agitator does:

Paul wishes that the circumcisers would not stop with circumcision but go beyond it to mutilation (make themselves eunuchs) like the priests of Cybele. A severe irony and similar to the one in Philip. iii. 2, 3, where Paul calls the boasters of circumcision “the Concision.” Self mutilation was a recognized form of heathen worship especially in Pessinus in Galatia and therefore quite familiar to the readers. Thus by their glorying in the flesh the Galatians relapsed into their former heathenism,--Schaff and Lightfoot. The Revised Version here has, “would even cut themselves off,” the American Committee has, “would go beyond circumcision.”—G.A.]

Chrysostom's Commentary on Galatians:

Galatians 5:1.-"With freedom did Christ set us free; stand fast therefore.115 ."

"I would that they which unsettle you would even cut themselves off." And he says well "that unsettle you."

"A man that is heretical after the first and second admonition refuse." (Tit. iii: 10) If they will, let them not only be circumcised, but mutilated.

Where then are those who dare to mutilate themselves; seeing that they draw down the Apostolic curse, and accuse the workmanship of God, and take part with the Manichees? ... But if you will not allow this,

why do you not mutilate the tongue for blasphemy, the hands for rapine, the feet for their evil courses, in short, the whole body?

For the ear enchanted by the sound of a flute hath often enervated the soul;
and the perception of a sweet perfume by the nostrils hath bewitched the mind, and made it frantic for pleasure.

Yet this would be extreme wickedness and satanic madness. The evil spirit, ever delighting in slaughter, hath seduced them to crush the instrument, as if its Maker had erred, whereas it was only necessary to correct the unruly passion of the soul.

How then does it happen, one may say, that when the body is pampered, lust is inflamed?

Observe here too that it is the sin of the soul, for to pamper the flesh is not an act of the flesh but of the soul, for if the soul choose to mortify it, it would possess absolute power over it.
