James.1.12.Blessed.is.the.man.that.endureth.temptation
Organized and competitive WORSHIP SERVICES have been the source of spiritual and literal wars. Worship literally has only one meaning.
2Chr. 20:18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground:
and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem FELL BEFORE THE LORD
WORSHIPING THE LORD.
1Cor. 14:25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest;
and so FALLING DOWN ON HIS FACE

John 8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you:
but he that sent me is true;
and I SPEAK to the world those things which I have HEARD of him.
John 8:27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them,
When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
then shall ye know that I am he,
and that I do nothing of myself;
but as my Father hath TAUGHT me,
I SPEAK these things.
GOD as masculine never taught Jesus to SING any of His Words.
John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me:
the Father hath not left me alone;
for I DO always those things that PLEASE him.
John 8:30 As he spake these WORDS, many believed on him.
John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,
IF ye continue in my WORD, THEN are ye my disciples indeed

Gill's Exposition of the Entire BibleAnd his brother's name was Jubal,.... This was another son of Lamech by Adah, and his name differs only in one letter from his brother's: he was the father of all such that handle the harp and organ: he was the inventor of instrumental music, both of stringed instruments, such as were touched by the fingers, or struck with a quill, as the "harp"; and of wind instruments, such as were blown, as the "organ", which seems not to be the same we call so, being a late invention; but however a pleasant instrument, as its name signifies.
Jubal is thought by some to be the same with Apollo, to whom with the Greeks the invention of the harp is ascribed; and some have been of opinion, that the jubilee trumpet was so called from Jubal, Leviticus 25:9.
Sanchoniatho (r) makes Chrysor or Vulcan, the same with Tubalcain, the brother of Jubal, to exercise himself in eloquence, songs and divination, confounding or mistaking the employment of the two brothers.
The Arabs have such a notion of the Cainites being the inventors of music, that they commonly call a singing girl "Cainah" (s); and the Arabic writers (t) make Jubal to be the first inventor of music, and that the BEASTS and birds gathered together to hear him; the same that is said of Orpheus. the endings bel & bal seem to refer to the god of Cain's family:
It is believed that the lineage of Cain continued in the Kenites and Canaanites.
Zech. 14:21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.

A corrupter of the Word sells learning at wholesale: the same word identifies a prostitute which includes selling any of your body parts.
In the Bible CAIN is derived from a musical note: that is the MARK in Revelation. Leon R. Kass (The Beginning of Wisdom: Reading Genesis) says that Cain (qayin) is related to qanithi, from a root qanah, meaning "to possess"

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the WORD, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Jesus said that God HIDES from the wise or sophists meaning self-speakers, singers or instrument players claiming their power over a god. He called the Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites and in Ezekiel 33 Christ names self-speakers for hire, singers and instrument players. The Qahal, synagogue or Ekklesia in the wilderness was a time to REST from religionists and engage in reading and rehearsing the Word of God. The gospel message from Jesus was "Ye who are weary and heavey laden come to be and I will give you REST." His message to the individual or small groups was "come learn of me." Therefore, it is important to separate the School of Christ (Academia in Numbers 10) from threskia without a modifer "pure" which was performed by skilled people doing works to worship for you or lead you into worship.Pure.Religion.and.Undefiled.James
Jesus died to destroy all worship (Threskia) services.: He said that the kingdom does not come with observation meaning religious observations or rituals by those claiming to bring Jesus into your presence or lift the people into the presence of a god.
Gregory Nazianzen For what they worship as true, they veil as mythical. But if these things are true, they ought not to be called myths, but to be proved not to be shameful; and if they are false, they ought not to be objects of wonder; nor ought people so inconsiderately to hold the most contrary opinions about the same thing, as if they
were playing in the market-place with boys or really ill-disposed men,
not engaged in discussion with men of sense,
and worshippers of the Word,
though despisers of this artificial plausibility.Nor are these Thracian orgies, from which the word Worship (threskia) is said to be derived; nor rites and mysteries of Orpheus, whom the Greeks admired so much for his wisdom that they devised for him a lyre which draws all things by its music.
The Faithful Assemblies of Christ never followed any of the myths or doing acts or reciting certain forms (Legalism) as a way to CHARM God. The Impure Threskia of the pagans used musical instruments and were called sorcerers in the Scripture and the Greek classics.
Such rituals which Paul called 'Lying Wonders' are derived from Orpheus or "that Thracian." Paul warned about men who could bring on wrath or an ORGY. The only PURE religion is defined by James:
THE ONE-PIECE PATTERN FOR DISCIPLES: SPEAK THAT WHICH IS WRITTEN FOR OUR LEARNING
James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law [nomon] of liberty,

Threskeia is named after Orpheus or That Thracian. Under various names he goes back to Jubal who handled (without authority in a sexaul context) all of the musical instruments.

[915] Many indeed are the wounds, Thamyris, son of Philammon, that you have inflicted on my heart, in your life and in your death. Yes, for it was your pride, your own undoing, and your rivalry with the Muses that made me mother of this poor son of mine. For as I crossed the river's streams [920] I came too near to Strymon's fruitful couch, that day we Muses came to the brow of Mount Pangaeus with its soil of gold, furnished forth with all our music for one great trial of minstrel skill with that clever Thracian bard; and we blinded him, [925] Thamyris, the man who often reviled our craft.... And yet we sister Muses do special honor to your city, your land we chiefly haunt; and those dark mysteries with their torch processions were revealed by Orpheus, cousin of this dead man [945] whom you have slain. Musaeus, too, your holy citizen, of all men most advanced in lore,

The JEWS practiced a RELIGION:
Acts 26.5 having known me from the first, if they are willing to testify, that after the strictest sect of our religion I lived a PhariseeThose who serve these religions are called parasites. A school of the word both ekklesia and synagogue was held once each week. The focus on the Word as the only text book did not include observations such as rhetoric, singing or playing instruments to enhance the Word. A SECT tries to keep your time and money busy all week. That defines a CULT.
Hdt. 2.37 Their religious observances are, one may say, innumerable.
[4] But also they receive many benefits: they do not consume or spend anything of their own;
sacred food is cooked for them, beef and goose are brought in great abundance to each man
every day, and wine of grapes is given to them, too... One of these is the high priest; and when a high priest dies, his son succeeds to his office. They believe that bulls belong to Epaphus. Epaphus is the Greek form of Apis or Hapi, the bull-god of Memphis;
Hdt. 2.42 For no gods are worshipped by all Egyptians in common except Isis and Osiris, who they say is Dionysus; 2.44 I took ship for Tyre in Phoenicia, where I had learned by inquiry that there was a holy temple of Heracles. [The Tyrian god Melkart.] [2] There I saw it, richly equipped with many other offerings, besides two pillars, one of refined gold, one of emerald: Hdt. 2.46 This is why the Egyptians of whom I have spoken sacrifice no goats, male or female: the Mendesians reckon Pan among the eight gods who, they say, were before the twelve gods.THE BARBARIANS who spoke in tongues where the SPEAK includes playing instruments.
Now, if we are to understand it to mean that Eumolpus, Orpheus, Musaeus, and Thamyris were the fellow-countrymen of those Edonians, Odrysians, and Odomantians, who in the historical age occupied the Thracian territory, and who spoke a barbarian language, that is, one unintelligible to the Greeks, we must despair of being able to comprehend these accounts of the ancient Thracian minstrels, and of assigning them a place in the history of Grecian civilisation; since it is [p. 1181] manifest that at this early period, when there was scarcely any intercourse between different nations, or knowledge of foreign tongues,
poets who sang in an unintelligible language could not have had more influence on the mental development of the people than the twittering of birds.

Ken SublettOrpheus is supposed to have introduced the vice of sodomy upon the earth. In Ovid's Metamorphoses--
presumably in consequence of the death of Eurydice, his wife, and his unsuccessful attempt to bring her to earth again from the infernal regions. But he paid dearly for his contempt of women. The Thracian dames whilst celebrating their bacchanal rites tore him to pieces. François Noël, however, states that Laius, father of Oedipus, was the first to make this vice known on earth. In imitation of Jupiter with Ganymede, he used Chrysippus, the son of Pelops, as a catamite; an example which speedily found many followers. Amongst famous sodomists of antiquity may be mentioned: Jupiter with Ganymede; Phoebus [Abaddon, Apollyon] with Hyacinthus; Hercules with Hylas; Orestes with Pylades; Achilles with Patrodes, and also with Bryseis; Theseus with Pirithous; Pisistratus with Charmus; Demosthenes with Cnosion; Gracchus with Cornelia; Pompeius with Julia; Brutus with Portia; the Bithynian king Nicomedes with Caesar,[1] Ille etiam Thracum populis fuit auctor, amorem
