Pepperdine University recently launched two programs designed
        to support EMERGING church leaders
and to discover and train future preachers.

Abaddon or Apollon HAS emerged as the LEADER OF THE MUSES and SPIRITUS they hear.
The Muses and Graces known as dirty adulteresses and SHEPHERDS as Apollyon's musical worship team.

Jay Guin Promoting the Progressive Church of Christ including moving the pews so we can dance asks?

In other words, how can you encourage someone else (the voice is active)? One approach is to recognize that in your congregation there is a new spirit/Spirit of worship emerging. Members are slowly becoming more expressive. They are feeling free to feel the words, to truly mean the lyrics.

But only a few. Most of those present are, for reasons they don’t understand, trapped in a legalistic, culturally and emotionally stunted form of expression. They feel its wrongness in their cores, but don’t know how to escape. In fact, they worry that it might somehow be wrong to give into these Spirit-prompted impulses.

The church leaders are not going to shut down a little clapping or hands-raising, but neither are they going to push these new postures either. “Let the Spirit lead where it wills” would be a common attitude for a transitional church such as this one.

Churches of Christ understand contrary to the Lilly Foundation that the EMERGING concept is defined in explicit terms of the end-time churches returning to the beginning-time Bablonian worship of the starry host including Moloch as the Jeff Walling for "instrumental music" which made the lambs and children dumb before the slaughter or HOLOCAUST in the red hot arms of Moloch the same "god" the Israelites worshipped in Egypt, Mount Sinai and Jerusalem.  God QUARANTINED the godly Jews FROM this music-deadening holocaust and protected them in their own idolated towns where the SYNAGOGUE (not the church but the gathered ekklesia) for Rest, Reading and Rehearsing the Word of God.  The Spirot OF Christ the Rock outlawed vocal or instrumental rejoicing theologians speaking out of their own evil imagination.

A third initiative will feature a landmark study that examines spiritual leadership in our churches.

Youth Leadership Initiative
Seeing a great need to reach and encourage young people from the churches of Christ to prepare themselves for college, their careers, and their future service to the Church,

Jeff Walling, Rick Atchley have been the sowers of soul-burning discord by "teaching our youth to leave our movement." That means that the Lilly Foundation is financing men making war AGAINST churches of Christ into an AGNOSTIC view that their views are superior to those expressed in the Bible. Therefore, the Lilly Foundation  is supporting these men are ANTI BIBLE as the only reason anyone has a claim to a profession as a hireling.

Pepperdine University recently launched the Youth Leadership Initiative.

Jeff Walling, a nationally known public speaker and youth leader, will return to Southern California to serve as the founding director of this initiative. Walling will develop programs that will encourage young Christian men and women to discover and develop their leadership skills
in order to strengthen their faith,
        succeed in their careers,
and advance the mission of the Kingdom of God.

The Church consists of all baptized believers to become students of the Scriptures--not theology.
When they meet in assembly they are called a SYNAGOGUE.
The Synagogue is defined inclusively and exclusively as a place of pray and hearing the Scriptures PREACHED by being READ each REST day.
Those who received A holy spirit or A good conscience, consciousness or the ability to read BLACK text on BROWN paper have their spirits (minds) translated into a heavenly kingdom.
Jesus said that the Kingdom DOES NOT COME with observation meaning Religious rituals defined as Lying Wonders. Jesus told us NOT to go where the Pepperdine Kingdom is operated by men with no role and no dole.

Jeff WallingThe Next Gen Preacher Search is one of the first programs being developed to identify and encourage emerging leaders in our churches. Though most programs will be aimed at much younger teens, this first program is open to high school juniors and seniors and college age students.

Contrary to the Lilly Foundation's stated goal this will be to EMERGE only those who have taken the MARK of the Emerging Church which REPUDIATES each and every teaching of the Prophets by Christ and the prophecies made more certain by Jesus and left in parts for our memory. The COMMAND is that the Prophets and Apostles cannot be private interpreted or further expound and SOLD at wholesale.  That is defined by Paul and the Classics as PROSTITUTING one's "talent' at preaching as determined by those with a NARROW, LEGALISTIC AGENDA.

Jeff WallingApplicants will be invited to submit a five-minute video sermon through YouTube.  These videos will be reviewed and ranked by a panel of preachers for content and presentation effectiveness.  To generate interest in the program, the students will also receive points on the “view count” of their lessons.

A preacher in the Christian System is a kerusso or HERALD. He takes the SEALED message form a king to the field commander, does not open it, change it or charge for it on the RECEIVING end.  Jesus failed to tell Paul in Ephesians 4 about a SERMON PERFORMER (hypocrite, sophist) but ordained the ELDERS as the pastor-teachers of the flock. Their job one was to EJECT the preacher or cunning craftsmen of SOPHSITS meaning speakers, singers, instrument players, actors or dancers.  Jesus told Paul that is because THEY ARE LYING IN WAIT TO DECEIVE.

Jesus called the Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites.  In Ezekiel 33 Christ named skilled preachers for HIRE, singers, instrument players and any audience. This was the MARK of those who told God that they had no intention of hearing or obeying HIS Words.

Jesus said that God HIDES from the WISE or SOPHISTS meaning preaching for HIRE, singers or instrument players.

Jeff Walling, Forty semi-finalists will be selected and announced in November of 2014.
They will be provided with a mentor minister in their region who will help and encourage them for four months.

In early 2015 the semi-finalists will be invited to participate in a two-day regional training event in their area with Jeff Walling and other preaching coaches from the region.  At the conclusion of the training event they will present their messages again. Four finalists will be offered another session of personal training and will receive teaching resources including software, books as well as a yearlong mentoring relationship with an active leading preacher.  Each finalist will be given an opportunity to speak at various events such as the North American Christian Convention, The Tulsa Workshop, Lipscomb University’s Summer Celebration, The Pepperdine Bible Lectures and the Winterfest Youth Conferences.

Communitas
Leading a community of faith is personally rewarding, but it is never easy. Resources are slim and supportive networks are few.
Ministers are leaving their pulpits in record numbers.
Many are leaving ministry for other careers.
Pepperdine is offering a program to encourage and equip young ministers at the beginning of their careers.

In 1 Corinthians 1 Paul explaining Isaiah 33 says that there will be NO PODIUMS and NO takers of Shekels in the School of Christ.  No role: no dole. Maybe many of them have discovered that they can get a real job like Paul and teach the people when THEY have time to rest.  Much of the traffic has gone into the whole world like a trumpet blast by the Internet as the simple way for for people to hear the TRUMPT of God.

When men like Mike Cope, Jeff Walling and Rick Atchley get REVIEWED by the NACC about how to transistion THEIR congregation into the Christian Churches and boast that they use CHRISTIAN BANDS to "teach our youth to leave YOUR movement" people soon catch that at JUST THE RIGHT TIME year 2000 elders are no longer APT and will take your money devoted "to the lord" and at just the right KAIROS TIME they tell the people that our OLD promise is no longer valid about "instruments" because in the words of Rick Atchley "That was THEN but this is NOW."

There is no LAW OF GIVING because Christ commanded us NOT to spend our bread money for the FREE water of the Word and commanded that no one seek their own pleasure or SPEAK THEIR OWN WORDS.  The spiritual terrorism of bandit fleecers has lost its MAGIC power and they can get the Bible Education from the internet and not pay for silly sermons by men who have no talent or interest in telling the truth.

Through a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment, Pepperdine is offering a special program, tuition free, for early career ministers who desire to lead their congregations toward becoming significant agents for positive change in their communities.

Ministers are DEACONS: They read the Word of God only which is the only Act since the Lord's Supper is a visual teaching aid that JESUS dies for our sings and THAT is enough to silence preachers being trained as SENIOR PASTOR usurping the roles of elders who are almost never APT.

Communitas, Pepperdine’s pastoral leadership program, is forming a cohort of fifteen ministers currently serving in churches in the greater Los Angeles area. Specifically, the program is seeking ministers in their first five-to-ten years of ministry who have demonstrated high potential for significant leadership.

Paul outlawed heresy in Romans 15 which is SELF-pleasue or SELF-speaking. A Heretic is the sacrificial priests who LIFTS UP THE LAMBS TO CUT THEIR THROATS.  The Parasites or leviites use music meaning "to make the lambs dumb before the slaughter." Heresy or SELF-pleasure is defined and outlawed as creating mental excitement through the hypocritic arts and crafts: rhetoricians, singers, instrument players, actors, staff (parasites).

Rick Gipson when hiring Mike Cope outed the meaning of COHORT meaning to REPROGRAM young preachers to reject the historic Church of Christ and its loyalty to Christ and HIS WORDS which are the REGULATIVE PRINCIPLE.

Then again on the other side was a rout of young men revelling, with flutes playing; some frolicking with dance and song, and others were going forward in time with a flute player and laughing. Also there were men boxing and wrestling, and huntsmen chasing swift hares with a leash of sharp-toothed dogs before them, they eager to catch the hares, and the hares eager to escape.

After this, what poet is not found copying the example of his chief, to be a disgracer of the gods? Everything opposed to the truth has been got up from the truth itself, the spirits of error carrying on this system of opposition.

took aim, first offering suppliant vow to Jove:

The Father heard, and from a cloudless sky
thundered to leftward, while the deadly bow
resounded and the arrow's fearful song
hissed from the string; it struck unswervingly
the head of Remulus and clove its way
deep in the hollows of his brow. “Begone!
Proud mocker at the brave!

App. Pun. 7 [41] Scipio had about 23,000 foot and 1500 Italian and Roman horse. He had as allies Masinissa with a large number of Numidian horse, and another prince, named Dacamas, with 1600 horse. He drew up his infantry, like those of Hannibal, in three lines. He placed all his cohorts in straight lines with open spaces so that the cavalry might readily pass between them. In front of each COHORT he stationed men armed with heavy stakes two cubits long, mostly shod with iron, for the purpose of assailing the oncoming elephants by hand, as with catapult bolts.

[43] Having thus exhorted their men they joined battle. Hannibal ordered the trumpet to sound, and Scipio responded in like manner. The elephants began the fight decked out in fearful panoply and urged on with goads by their riders. The Numidian horse flying around them incessantly thrust darts into them.

Catul. 10 HE MEETS VARUS AND MISTRESS

Led me my Varus to his flame,
As I from Forum idling came.
Forthright some whorelet judged I it
Nor lacking looks nor wanting wit,
When hied we thither, mid us three
Fell various talk, as how might be
Bithynia now, and how it fared,
And if some coin I made or spared.
"There was no cause (I soothly said)
"The Praetors or the Cohort made
Thence to return with oilier head;
The more when ruled by ...
Praetor, as pile the Cohort rating."
Quoth they, "But certes as 'twas there
The custom rose, some men to bear
Litter thou boughtest ?" I to her
To seem but richer, wealthier,
Cry, "Nay, with me 'twas not so ill
That, given the Province suffered, still
Eight stiff-backed loons I could not buy.'
(Withal none here nor there owned I
Who broken leg of Couch outworn
On nape of neck had ever borne!)
Then she, as pathic piece became,
"Prithee Catullus mine, those same
Lend me, Serapis-wards I'd hie."
...
"Easy, on no-wise, no," quoth I,
"Whate'er was mine, I lately said
Is some mistake, my camarade
One Cinna-Gains-bought the lot,
But his or mine, it matters what?
I use it freely as though bought,
Yet thou, pert troubler, most absurd,
None suffer'st speak an idle word."

Liv. 7 39 [7] One cohort, which was stationed not far from Antium, took up a position at Lantulae in a narrow pass between the mountains and the sea to intercept those whom the consul was sending home on the various pretexts mentioned above. [8] They soon grew to a very numerous body, and nothing was wanting to give it the form of a regular army except a general. They moved on into the Alban district, plundering as they went, and entrenched themselves in a camp under the hill of Alba Longa. [9] After completing their entrenchments they spent the rest of the day in arguing about the choice of a leader, as they had not sufficient confidence in any one amongst themselves.

Psalm 41DSS
DSS: All who have eaten my bread
.........have lifted their heel against me (cf John 13:18)
.........And all those joined to my Council
.........have mocked me with wicked lips. (Children piping and chiding.)
DSS: Thy members of my Covenant have rebelled
.........and have murmured round about me;
.........They have gone as talebearers
.........before the children of mischief
.........concerning the mystery which Thou hast hidden in me.
9 DSS: They have overtaken me in a narrow pass (gap) without escape
.........And there is no rest for me in my trial.
.........They sound my censure upon a harp
.........and their murmuring and storming upon a zither." Ps.41:11

They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine. Isaiah 29:24

The priests used the trumpets to triumph over the enemy who was called "beliar." The warriors also "twanged" tens of thousands of bow strings to make the sound of rushing water while the Levites played their harps or zithers. Even during the burning of animal sacrifices this was to keep the sound of evil away from the priests.

Apollo (Abaddon or Apollyon) is the god of twanging arrows and harmony. Literal melody or harmony is derived from the twanging of the bow string as it sends a "singing" arrow directly into your heart. See the twanging background.

In the War Rules of the Dead Sea Scrolls

The ministry of the priests and Levites.

DSS: "When the battle line are arrayed against the enemy battle line against battle line there shall go forth from the middle opening into the gap between the battle lines seven priests of the sons of Aaron, dressed in fine white linen garments: a linen tunic and linen breeches, and girded with a linen sash of twined fine linen, violet, '"purple, and crimson, and a varicolored Sign, the work of a skillful workman, and decorated caps on their heads; the garments for battle, and they shall not take them into the sanctuary.

The one priest shall walk before all the men of the battle line to encourage them for battle.

In the hands of the remaining six shall be the trumpets of assembly' the trumpets of memorial, the trumpets of the alarm, the trumpets of pursuit, and the trumpets of reassembly.

[Now as for you, take courage and stand in the gap, do not fear when God strengthens . . . ] 17-20 [ . . ] Col. 17 land He shall appoint their retribution with burning

When the priests go out into the gap between the battle lines,
seven Levites shall go out with them. In their hands shall be seven trumpets of rams' horns.
Three officers from among the Levites shall
walk before the priests and the Levites.
Then the priests shall blow on the six
trumpets of the slain a sharp staccato note to direct the battle,
and the Levites and all the people with rams' horns shall
blow a great battle alarm together in order to melt the heart of the enemy.

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. Psa 22:14

DSS: On the banner of the tho[us]and they shall write, "The Anger of God is loosed against Belial and all the men of his forces without remnant,"

And on the banner of the ten they shall write, "Songs of joy for God on the ten-stringed harp," and the name of the chief of the ten and the names of the nine men in his command.
