Joe Beam Behold the Pattern

Jesus noted that there is only a NARROW ROAD or PATTERN open only to Lost Spirits Jesus was sent to SEARCH for and TRANSLATE into a heavenly kingdom. There, they cannot be touched by those OF the World, the ecumenical, the Kingdom of the Devil. The Ruler of the World and all demonstrative worship binds FLESH (sex) and RELIGION together.  That is why God provided NO Day of Worship, A programmed Worship Assembly, no rhetoric, singing, playing instruments, acting or PAY FOR PLAY.

The Church as Ekklesia or Synagogue is a SCHOOL (only) of the WORD, Logos, Regulative Principle.
A COVENANT is made only with God's familly and forbids any Hostile Intrusion by anyone but CHRIST who is masculine and still in the STATE of Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit can never be a PERSON.  In His Glorified STATE, the Promise of the Holy Spirit, means the EVANGELISTIC OFFICE as both Lord and Christ.

Whatever is helpful in the WORLD cannot be imposed on the KINGDOM of Christ. LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT  has always meant that, when Testated, Silly Willy cannot change it.  Those who CHANGE this last Will confesses often that GOD and His Christ were Not Mentally Sound.

Music is always the "machinery" for choosing your church property for their own use.

The pagan thesis of Grace was blue-eyed blond prostitute musicians. Christ's ANTITHESIS is that Jesus as Grace hath appeared teaching us to DENY what the musical sectarians promote.

Joe Beam: For years our brotherhood has preached that to restore the New Testament church you simply find the pattern in the Bible and replicate it. If that's true then the same thing could be done to restore New Testament sectarianism. Of course, no one admits to wanting that.

Joe Beam and all latter day thelogians: ONLY those who invade. sow discord and CHOOSE to take other people's Property: THAT is the meaning of a SCTARIAN.

The WORLD SECT are OF the World and Jesus does not pray for them.  They are the masses of people and are ECUMENICAL.  Ecumenical does not mean godly and tolerant but the kingdom of Satan who is the Kosmokrator.  Apollo, Abbadon or Apollon are names of the STARS or planets is the leader of the MUSES.  In Revelation 18 the craftsmen, singers and instrument players are called SORCERERS.  John said that they HAD once deceived the whole world and they will be CAST ALIVE INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.

Acts 19:9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not,
but spake evil of THAT WAY before the multitude,

Logos is the Opposite ODE where all singing with or without instruments is the INSTRUMENT of KOMA or SORCERY.

THAT'S TRUE ONLY OF THE UNAUTHORIZED PREACHER CLASS. World History could read Scripture and understand that Holy Scripture defined the Church of Christ both INCLUSIVELY AND EXCLUSIVELY.  The Word or REGULATIVE PRINCIPLE allows no human opinion. Civilized people understoood that a message sent from god or God or even a General was to be READ

THE CAMPBELLS WERE BIBLE LITERATE.
CHURCH is A School of Christ.  That is perfectly defined in Scripture.
WORSHIP is Reading and Musing the WORD.

THE PATTERN JOE BEAM IS NOT PERMITTED TO EVER CONFESS.

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them,
When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
then shall ye know that I am he,
        and that I do nothing of myself;
but as my Father hath taught me,
        I speak these things.

Spirit without measure or METRON means musical melody: this is God's ANTITHESIS of those OF the World, Kosmos, Ecumenical where music marks pedaresty .

John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; f
or I do always those things that please him.
John 8:30 As he spake these words, many believed on him.
John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,

in my WORD, THEN are ye my DISCIPLES indeed;
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth,

There is NO PATTERN for worship by preaching, paying to listen, singing, playing instruments, acting or PAY FOR PLAY.
There is NO DAY OF WORSHIP: the Sabbath means REST. School was held on REST DAYS.
The REST brought by Jesus is in BLACK text on BROWN Paper but MERCHANTS cannot read.

Pindar, Isthmian 2.[1] The men of old, Thrasybulus, who mounted the chariot of the Muses with their golden headbands, joining the glorious lyre, lightly shot forth their honey-voiced songs for young men, if one was handsome and had [5] the sweetest ripeness that brings to mind Aphrodite on her lovely throne. [6] For in those days the Muse was not yet a lover of gain, nor did she work for hire. And sweet gentle-voiced odes did not go for sale, with silvered faces, from honey-voiced Terpsichore. But as things are now, she bids us heed [10] the saying of the Argive man, which comes closest to actual truth: [11] “Money, money makes the man,” he said, when he lost his wealth and his friends at the same time

Hdt. 1.131 they learned later to sacrifice to the “heavenly”1 Aphrodite from the Assyrians and Arabians. She is called by the Assyrians Mylitta, by the Arabians Alilat, by the Persians Mitra.
1 See note on Hdt. 1.105.

[4] But the Scythians who pillaged the temple, and all their descendants after them, were afflicted by the goddess with the “female” sickness: and so the Scythians say that they are afflicted as a consequence of this and also that those who visit Scythian territory see among them the condition of those whom the Scythians call “Hermaphrodites”.2

1 The great goddess (Mother of Heaven and Earth) worshipped by Eastern nations under various names—Mylitta in Assyria, Astarte in Phoenicia: called Heavenly Aphrodite, or simply the Heavenly One, by the Greeks.

Hdt. 1.105 2 The derivation of this word is uncertain; it is agreed that the disease was a loss of virility. In Hdt. 4.67 enarēs = androgonos.

Therefore, it could not be redundant. The word psallo means to PLUCK or to make a noise by a harp string or bow string. It later came to mean JUST SING. Without the word KITHARIZEIN Heredodus would have had to used PSALLO and then define WHAT is to be plucked.

And Joe Beam and friends IMPOSE a few more ACTS to that pattern.  The speak word LEXIS is the opposite of ODE. The commands are to SPEAK that which is written for our learning. Joe and friends translate that to SINE that which is not written for our learning. A disciple of Christ is a christian is a student and disciples of Christ are commanded to teach and observe what HE commanded through the Prophets and Apostles.

A sectarian or heretic is one who uses rhetoric, singing, playing instruments to create that laded burden or "spiritual anxiety through religious rituals." Their Purpose Driven performances makes them HERETICS which means that they intend to "make the lambs dumb before the slaughter" so that THEY can choose to take YOUR property for their own use.  Joe Beam will never find a historic church of Christ boasting about "using music to teach our youth to leave our movement."

Joe Beam and the Team do not grasp that if all churches of Christ were evil because they refuse to disobey the command of Christ from the wilderness onward, this just spreads hate by those not part of HIS WAY.  A Disciple of Christ is commmanded and exampled to Teach that which has been taught and REPROVE or sit down those who do NOT teach that which is written for our learning. There is no mystery about who is a SECTARIAN. Paul in Ephesians 4 said that Christ the Spirit gave APT elders as the only preacher-teachers. Job one was to eject the cunning craftsmen or sophists. A sophist is a performing preacher for pay, singers or instrument players in connection with "religion." The reason the hypocrites are to be ejected is because THEY ARE LYING IN WAIT TO DECEIVE.  There is no command, example or remote inference to people assembled to singing with instruments but insrumental noise is the MARK of those "who set their lies to melodies to deceive and cheat the simple minded.

Anyone who thinks that GRACE (blue-eyed blond prostitute musicians) can save them when they are purpose driven to deliberately DECEIVE because the Bible and recorded history tells me so.

The Hymn of Apollon-Abaddon from Homer

But thou, Apollo, takest most delight
In Delos. There assemble in thy sight
The long-coat Ions, with their children dear
And venerable bedfellows; and there
In matches set of buffets, song, and dance,
Both show thee pastime and thy name advance.

But well: let Phoebus and Diana be
Propitious; and farewell you, each one.
But yet remember me when I am gone:
And if of earthly men you chance to see
Any toil'd pilgrim, that shall ask you, Who,
O damsels, is the man that living here
Was sweet'st in song, and that most had your ear?
Then all, with a joint murmur, thereunto
Make answer thus: [6] A man deprived of seeing;
In the isle of sandy Chios is his being.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares

SECTARIANS by Biblical definition were the Discipes-Christians who IMPOSED instruments and spread hate against anyone who would not bow down.  The guilty party always and is predestined to blame the person being assaulted with historical violence.

Stark: In the Stark Warlick Debatethought of worship as the emotion of the soul and that it might "produce singing, shouting, praising, leaping, dancing, hand clapping, or thanksgiving and such should not be suppressed by man made rules."

Stark Against those who would not let him (the NACC) Impose instruments: What have they to do with my worship of God? The whole thing comes from a devilish, domineering spirit, which, instead of worshipping God, has taken God's seat in judgment to control the praise others may bring...  it is well enough to teach them: but 'rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubborness is as iniquity and idolatry. (1 Samuel 15:23)

Who put the twelfth commandment into God's law, saying, "Thou shalt not have an instrument of music in the congregation of the saints?"  David [Lipscomb], the destructive critic, when, like the "man of sin," he sits in the temple of God, says: "Thou shalt not."  That is the corner stone of his departure--the foundation of his schism.  Their church is built upon it, and a few old fogies have made it a test of fellowship.  God will shake their thunder out of them and put some lightning into them one of these days. [p.28]"

The musical invaders are in fact the man of sin sending strong delusions producing lying wonders meaning speaking singing, playing or acting claiming that it is for God: the kingdom does not come with observations meaning religious operations trying to silence the School of Christ.

1Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

The ekklesia as people of God quarantined from those abandoned to worship the starry host were to assemble ONCE EACH WEEK.  It had a simple ONE PIECE PATTERN:

It was EXCLUSIVE of vocal or instrumental rejoicing or anyone speaking their own words.
It was INCLUSIVE of Rest (Sabbath), Reading and Rehearsing the Word of God only.

The PATTERN of Jesus who founded the SECT that is called THE WAY was defined by the Spirit OF Christ in the Prophets. The UNIVERSAL requirementn of APT teachers is to silence all of the hypocritic arts and artists.  Jesus called the Scribes (writers) and Pharisees (preachers) hypocrites by quoting Isaiah 29 and Ezekiel 33 which REPUDIATES performance and music which are THE unique power of the heretics or sectarians.

Terrefore the Lord said,
Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth,
and with their lips do honour me,
but have removed their heart far from me,
and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Isa 29:13
Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people,
even a marvellous work and a wonder:
for the WISDOM of their wise men shall perish,
and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. Isa 29:14

Jesus said that God HIDES from the wise or sophists. They cannot read black text on brown paper.

Joe Beam: But if we can determine the pattern of sectarians in the New Testament, we can identify sectarians today. As I've repeatedly heard, "If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's a duck!" If we can determine how sectarians looked, walked, and quacked in the New Testament, we can know who is a sectariascn today - especially since sectarians are the last ones to admit being sectarian.

Convert

Joe Beam:  An examination of the New Testament reveals three major steps in the way sectarians operated. The first thing they attempted was conversion, convincing someone their sect was right and getting him to join their group to the exclusion of other groups.

(Matthew 23:15) The Pharisees, for example, felt that they were the only ones that interpreted the Scriptures correctly and that no one else had the favor of God but them.

But the point is dulled by the fact that history and Jesus defined the Scribes and Pharisees as hypocrites: speakers for hire, singers and instrument players. The MADE UP their own commandments so that they could fleece the widows and still get paid.  The Spirit OF Christ speaks of the "Lying pen of the Scribes" who wrote of the temple which God did not command and the animal slaughter which God did not command and the musical noise which God did not command.

They considered their interpretations and resulting regulations to be virtually as authoritative as scripture. Their views grew even stronger with each succeeding generation who revered their aging or dead teachers. Therefore, it followed that they wanted everyone to come to the same beliefs as they and attacked any who did not. (Matthew 15:3-9; Mark 7:5-13)

Jesus cracked the knee caps of everyone by commanding and exampling PREACHING the Word by READING the Word and making it more certain.  The Pharisees are the ANTI-TYPE of the suffering servant who has no wage other than feeding and housing him as he GOES:  if he does not GO then God didn't send them.

The Gospel is the Gospel of the Kingdom: by the Prophets and Apostles (the only educational resource) is the good news of the CHURCH which excludes the laded burdens (music and taxes) and the burden laders. If God speaking through Jesus does not have any PATTERN of His kingdom then the "progressives" can invent their own and "infiltrate and confiscate" your congregation which is the meaning of a heretic or sectarian

Matt. 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men:
for ye neither go in yourselves,
neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
Matt. 23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: [hymns]
therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
Matt. 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made,
ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

Ezekiel.26.33.Rev.gif

Joe Beam does not know that the Church of Christ is a SECT that is called the WAY. He is a sectarian because music from the garden of Eden onward has been the WEAPON to silence the command to READ or SPEAK the Word or Logos free of charge. Paul showed how we can all "speak the same things" by speaking that which is written for our learning. Any apt elder knows to teach that which has been taught. In no sense is the school a place for the MERCHANT class.

Discredit

Joe Beam and the "progressives" who read Scripture beyond the sacred pages are the only ones who will pass judgment by infiltrating a group, discrediting anything taught by churches of Christ, confiscate the property and tell the owners to get over it or get out: Joe Beam does not know of a single instance of such aggression intending to "rob temples.

Destroy

Joe Beam:  When discrediting failed to stop their perceived enemy, sectarians moved to the last step - destroying. Once they convinced themselves they were right and that God blessed only them, it was easy to do whatever it took to destroy the person they felt was drawing people away from God.

Attributing their perceived enemy's doctrines and motives to Satan made it essential that they stop him. (Matthew 9:32-34; Mark 12:24)

Lucifer was called by the Spirit OF Christ the singing and harp-playing prostitute.  He-she was a Musical Enchanter were Serpo or Herpo defines a winding form of singing like a slowly spreading fire to steal in and rob you.

"In pagan traditions, musical instruments are invented by gods or demi-gods, such as titans. In the Bible, credit is assigned to antediluvian patriarchs, for example, the descendants of Cain in Genesis 4:21. There is no other biblical tradition about the invention of musical instruments." (Freedman, David Noel, Bible Review, Summer 1985, p. 51). (Proof Here).

In Amos-Five.html

Conrad L'Heureux demonstrated that the marzeah, or symposium (feast, gathering, banquet, assembly) of El that is found in the Rephaim Texts of Ugarit "must be a reflex in the divine world of the symposium celebrated by the members of the earthly marzeah of El...each guild apparently had a divine patron."42 The heavenly marzeah had participants called rp'm, which we also find in the earthly marzeah, e.g., "May Krt be greatly exalted among the rp'm of the earth...the rp'm constitute an aristocracy of which the Canaanite kings were a part."43 Moses, and the prophets following him were proclaimed as "Speakers for Yahweh," showing the people that "they are sent from the divine king, the suzerain of treaties, to reprove and to pronounce judgment upon Israel..."44

Note 42: Conrad L'Heureux, "The Ugaritic and Biblical Rephaim," Harvard Theological Review, 67(1974): 270-271.

Note 43. Conrad L'Heureux, Rephaim, 271. Cf. 272, footnote 25, the authority of El is ordinarily exercised through the younger generation of gods whom we could call the executive deities. It is also possible to understand the term rp'm as "the assembly of the gods." The entire premise of Jacobsen's article "Primitive Democracy," is that the groups and assemblies on earth reflected what the gods had done in heaven.

"The marzeah had an extremely long history extending at least from the 14th century B.C. through the Roman period. In the 14th century B.C., it was prominently associated with the ancient Canaanite city of Ugarit (modern Ras Shamra), on the coast of Syria... The marzeah was a pagan ritual that took the form of a social and religious association... Some scholars regard the funerary marzeah as a feast for--and with--deceased ancestors (or Rephaim, a proper name in the Bible for the inhabitants of Sheol)." (King, Biblical Archaeological Review, Aug, 1988, p. 35, 35) ---- "These five elements are: (1) reclining or relaxing, (2) eating a meat meal, (3) singing with harp or other musical accompaniment, (4) drinking wine and (5) anointing oneself with oil." (King, p. 37).

"With the wine-drinking (which is the literal meaning of the Hebrew for feasting), went music and dancing." (Heaton, E. W., Everyday Life in Old Testament times, Scribners, p. 93)

"Worship was form more than substance; consequently, conduct in the marketplace was totally unaffected by worship in the holy place. Amos spoke from the conviction that social justice is an integral part of the Mosaic covenant, which regulates relations not only between God and people, but also among people." (King, p. 44).

The Babylon Mother of Harlots in Revelation 17 uses "lusted after fruits" as speakers, singers and instrument players: John says that they are sorcerers and WILL BE CAST ALIVE INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.

Dealing With Sectarians

Joe Beam:  It's time we deal with sectarians in a New Testament manner.
For too long we've allowed them to flourish undeterred
because we feared that if we opposed them we would become what they are.
But just as there is a "pattern" for sectarians in the New Testament,
there is a pattern for dealing with them.

First,
expect them to attack you. Read Matthew 10 to see what comes to those who love and follow Jesus. As Jesus pointed out, if they called him Beelzebub what should we expect them to call us who follow Him? We shouldn't be surprised at the actions of sectarians anymore than we should be surprised when ducks quack. It's their nature to do what they do.

Second, keep doing good in spite of their intention to harm you. David didn't let the giant's threats stop him (1 Samuel 17:41-51) and proved that God was alive and at work. When Jesus saw what needed to be done, He did it even though He knew it would cost Him his life.

He told us that speaking the Word or Logos or regulative principle will get you killed: Joe knows of no event where churches of Christ have treatened in any sense much less threatened to MURDER them.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Matthew 7:22

"Singing served as a means of inducing ecstatic prophecy (speaking in tongues). Thus the essential relationship between music and prophecy can be clearly seen. This relationship also explains why the expression for "making music" and "prophesying" was often identical in the ancient tongues. origen contra celsum 8.67.

The Hebrew word Naba signifies not only "to prophesy" but also "to make music." (Quasten, Johannes, Music and Worship in Pagan and Christian Antiquity, p. 39)

People charge God with rank ignorance: if He wanted to hint at any kind of rhetorical or musical performance (hypocrites) He was smart enough to use a word such as  theias antiluron mousasOr Responsive to the LYRE.

Jesus says that God does not know the name of the SECTARIANS who in history were musical performers as the most aggressors.

Joe Beam:  He was angry and deeply distressed at the stubborn hearts of the sectarians, just as we may be, but He did the work of God in spite of them. (Mark 3:1-6)

Jesus said that God HIDES from the wise or sophists: speakers, singers or instrument players pretending to speak the WORD when they are ANTI-Logos or the Regulative Principle.

The pattern of Jesus on the REST day was commanded and exampled.

Mark 3:1 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.

When the ekklesia ASSEMBLES Paul used "synagogue" words. The Synagogue had a poor box in the back for the poor and widows.  Making sermons and selling them was outlawed and Joe does not know of a School (only) of the Word (only).  Jesus knew that the Sabbath as "worship center" along with the tithe was Babylonian to which God had abandoned the Jews.

Sabbath means REST and not a day of worship for the godly Jews: the word rest or sabbath includes the FREE day to do anything you wished: the godly Jews synagogued to hear the Word PREACHED by being READ.  The restrictions of travel was to quarantine the godly people from the "worship centers" where sun worship was always on the evil seventh day.  Christ in the prophets warns about the "lying pen of the scribes." The Jews were never commanded to slaughter animals or make loud noise by the Jacob-cursed and God-Abandoned Levites. Their noise is called sorcery or exorcism and the Lord of the Flies or the Dung God was supposed to be driven away in the form of flies lusting for the flesh and blood.

Joe is not Jesus and does not know that the most OFFENSIVE thing in the world, kosmos or the ecumenical masses is to hear the Word being PREACHED by being READ for Comfort and Doctrine. Speaking the Word makes one able to appropriate Jesus as a fellow-sufferer.

We have shown that the Assembly of Christ is a SCHOOL of the Word in the same sense as the Church of Christ (the Rock) or synagogue in the wilderness.  Joe Beam and Team denies the Regulative Principle: the Word or Logos is God's Regulative principle which is OPPOSITE anything the true SECTARIANS introduce into a peaceable church.

Joe Beam:  Third, rebuke them for their sectarian sin when you see it. It wouldn't be right to ignore a brother's drunkenness or adultery. We'd tell him to stop and call what he was doing a sin. The same is true with sectarians. Don't emulate their spirit. Don't go looking for them or trying to set theological traps to make them look bad. And certainly don't make it your business to try to destroy them. But rebuke them in the love of Jesus with plain language so that they are confonted with their sin. John did it. (Matthew 3:7-12) Jesus did it too. (Matthew 23:1-36) If we want to walk in His steps, we must do the same.

The Word is the Logos is the Regulative Principle. It outlaws preacher's opinions, preachers experiences, jokes, introductions, singing, playing instruments which are always the mark of SORCERERS.

2Timothy 4:2 Preach the WORD; be instant in season,
        out of season; reprove, rebuke,
exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

A
preacher or kerusso is a HERALD: he delivers a letter from the king to the field commander: he does not open it, change it or charge for it on the receiving end. Joe Beam defends those who REFUSE to obey the command to GO and preach where the Gospel has not YET been heard. The only job of the kerusso or preacher in the ekklesia was to call everyone to silence.

A preacher or herald who sang and played the harp would be, as recorded history, 'tarred and feathered" and rode out beyond the "county line."

The historic masculine side of man is that anyone who sang and played an instrument was "drunk, effeminate or just mocking" as they musically mocked Jesus to the cross.

God, in an effort to restore Your church some restored New Testament Sectarianism instead. Show every open heart the way from the sects into Your Way.

A Sectarian or Heretic in church history is anyone who imposes something not required to fulfill the direct command to be a SCHOOL OF CHRIST in the words of Alexander Campbell.
