John.17.Unity.and.the.Regulative.Principle. No unity with the World for which Jesus does not pray.John 17 Jesus prays that WE be united only when we speak the same things: that's easy "use one mind and one mouth to speak that which is written for our learning.
See how the Word or Logos or Regulative Principle forbids anything other than SPEAKING the Word of God.
If the masses decry the Regulative Principle as the only way to regulate faith and practices, and others believe that the only way to spring a RAT TRAP is defined by God: If they do not speak that which is written THERE IS NO LIGHT IN THEM (Isaiah 8)

Eth. 1102b.1 But there also appears to be another element in the soul, which, though irrational,Jesus PRAYED for Unity and defined that it must be based on the Word, Logos or Regulative Principle. He did not tell preachers to PRAY for unity which almost always means "I will gladly betray those who fed me so that I can ADOPT the false teachings and practices of those I wish to demonstrate my God-Likeness. There can be no unity with Christ without speaking what Jesus Taught:
yet in a manner participates in rational principle. In self-restrained and unrestrained people
we approve their principle, or the rational part of their souls,
because it urges them in the right way and exhorts them to the best course;
but their nature seems also to contain another element beside that of rational principle,
which combats and resists that principle.
[16] Exactly the same thing may take place in the soul as occurs with the body in a case of paralysis:
when the patient wills to move his limbs to the right
Aristot. Nic. Eth. 1102b.20 they swerve to the left; and similarly in unrestrained persons their impulses run counter to their principle. But whereas in the body we see the erratic member, in the case of the soul we do not see it; nevertheless it cannot be doubted that in the soul also there is an element beside that of principle, which opposes and runs counter to principle （though in what sense the two are distinct does not concern us here）. [17] But this second element also seems, as we said, to participate in rational principle; at least in the self-restrained man it obeys the behest of principle—and no doubt in the temperate and brave man it is still more amenable, for all parts of his nature are in harmony with principle. [18]

It happens that this relationship of following or obeying can itself be expressed by the words
to have logos’ in another sense of that phrase, viz. ‘to take account of, pay heed to.’
To be precise the writer should say that the part logon ekhei tou logou ‘has logos （takes account） of the logos.’ The phrase has yet a third sense in mathematics, where “to have logos” （ratio） means ‘to be rational’ in the sense of commensurable.

1Cor. 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
that ye all SPEAK the same thing,
and that there be no divisions among you;
but that ye be perfectly joined together in the SAME MIND and in the same judgment.
If you want unity with JESUS and the LITTLE FLOCK Paul gives the CENI or pattern which MUST be followed. You cannot ignore the Word and PRAY for the unity Jesus rejects.
Jesus called the Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: In Ezekiel 33 they are speakers for hire, singers and instrument players. The MARK is that neither they nor the paying audience have any intention of obeying God. If you say that we cannot all follow the ONE PIECE PATTERN then you are not a Disciple of Christ.
Rom. 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning,The pattern defined by Christ in the wilderness is both INCLUSIVE and EXCLUSIVE:
that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Rom. 15:5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you
to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
Rom. 15:6 That ye may with ONE MIND and one MOUTH glorify God, [One Theos]
even the Father of our Lord [Kurios] Jesus Christ.
Acts 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every cityThe direct command to READ the Epistles is to EXCLUDE making songs or sermons out of them.
them that PREACH him, being READ in the synagogues every sabbath day.
2Cor. 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith,Jesus came with a SWORD which is the WORD as the Weapon of the Spirit of God. The one piece pattern of an assembly is to TEACH that which has been taught. That means that it has no octopus arms which need to BOND with others to validate my role for which there is no dole.
according as it is written,

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:

For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not,
and who should betray him. John 6:64And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me,
except it were given unto him of my Father. John 6:65Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. John 6:68
I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. John 17:4
The only way to GLORIFY God in the assembly or school of the Bible which IS NOT a divisive worship center is to FOREGO pleasuring and then speak with one MIND and one MOUTH that which is written. Romans 15
All disunity flows from failure to understand what Jesus died to BUILD.
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. John 17:5
John 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me OUT of the WORLD:thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy WORD.
Word or Logos is the Regulative Principle: it is opposite to self-preaching, singing, playing instruments, acting, dancing (gyrating) or anything other than the command to Use One Mind and One Mouth to SPEAK that which is WRITTEN FOR OUR LEARNING. If you are NOT doing that you are OF the World and NOT of Truth.
John 17:7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
The pattern of Jesus was that He spoke NOTHING which He did not hear "breathed" from the Father. You cannot be a Christian and think you can lie about His Word or as the command is to APT elders that they "teach that which has been taught" and utterly reject those who do not obey the command of Jesus to teach and observe what HE commanded to be taught.,The SON was the WORD and the FATHER was the THOUGHT: Spirit without measure meant that SON was in the FATHER and the Father in the So so that they were ONE SPIRIT God. Without "measure" means without METER: that is why Jesus SPOKE the word where SPEAK is the opposite of SING or PLAY machines.
Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. John 8:28
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do alway those things that please him. John 8:29
As he spake these words, many believed on him. John 8:30Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,
If ye continue in my WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; John 8:31
John 17:8 For I have given unto them the WORDS which thou gavest me;
and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee,
and they have believed that thou didst send me.
UNITY is abased only on the WORD of God which in fact is like a sword and Jesus did not bring peace in the sense of bonding with false teachers just to show how graceful you are.
Jesus said that God HIDES from the wise or SOPHISTS: they are self-speakers for hire, singers or instrument players.
Jesus called the Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: in Ezekiel 33 version Christ names speakers for pay, singers and instrument players. This was His MARK of people who have no intention of obeying God and HIS Word as THE Regulative Principle.
Jesus was sent to seek and save the LOST: that means "lost spirits." That is why the command is to GO and teach: those who are OF TRUTH or OF faith will comply and be baptized. You cannot UNITY with people who call Jesus a liar about baptism. The Lost SHEEP will hear the true shepherd: the rest will be collected with the unity imperative with WOLVES opening the gates and making it WIDE. Wolves marks the universal persona of religious musicians as being effeminate or perverted. Christ defined them in Isaiah 3 when women and BOYS rule over you.
John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray NOT for the world,
but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

Jesus SET IN ORDER and NEW WORLD ORDER: it EXCLUDES those of the PRESENT EVIL WORLD.

Hēlios II. as pr. n., Helios, the sun-god, Od.8.271Judas carried the Judas Bag because He was a thief. In agreement with the prophecy in Psalm 41 Judas would try to triumph over Jesus. This is the "vocal or instrumental rejoicing or rhetoric" which Christ outlawed for the Church of Christ (the ROCK) in the wilderness. This was to quarantine the godly Jews from the Jacob-Cursed and God-Abandoned Levite Warrior musicians.

The word ANATHEMA means that you have been set in a "holy place" to DECORATE it or as an ORNAMENT: Once a thing or person presumes to DECORATE. Once a thing or person has set themselves to DECORATE or ADORN the human institution they CANNOT BE REDEEMED AND MUST BE BURNED.
A LADED BURDEN IS A REPEATING FORM OF SONG OR A SONG SUNG WEEK AFTER WEEK AS AN ACT REFUSING TO TEACH THAT WHICH IS WRITTEN FOR OUR LEARNING IS THE WORK OF A HYPOCRITE. A HYMN to the Greeks was a PRAYER.
Matt. 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are:
for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.
Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matt. 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet,
and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret;
and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Matt. 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do:
for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. John 17:11
God sent His ARM as Intercessor because there was NO MAN. Zechariah prophesied that the Branch would bear the name Jesus or Joshua which means Jehovah- Saves. The Father was Jehovah- Righted. The NAME OF all of the terms such as GOD IS WITH US applied to the Son or Branch.
Jesus the Christ as SON had the FATHER and SPIRIT with Him and Son as the WORD spoke only what He heard from the indwelling FATHER even as the SPIRIT OF CHRIST would reveal only what the invisible Christ spoke to mankind.
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. John 17:12
Judas was INDWELLED with the spirit of Satan just as Jubal had taught people to HANDLE musical instruments where handle means WITHOUT AUTHORITY.
The son of perdition carried a bag: the Judas Bag was for carrying the reeds or "tongues" of wind instruments. That fulfilled the prophecy of Psalm 41 where Judas would instigate the Priests into the ALARM or TRIUMPH over. This was "playing instruments and 'making a joyful noise before the Lord'." This was the LEVITICAL WARRIOR NOISE MAKER'S panic song.
The son of PERDITION is Apoleia a form of Apollo or Abbadon or Appolyon who was, identical to the Lamech family including JUBAL. He was the father of "twanging bow strings to send SINGING arrows (the meaning of external MELODY), musical harmony, thieves and liars.
And now come I to
thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might
have my joy fulfilled in themselves. John 17:13
Here is why people want to "hear beyond the sacred page."
I have given them
THY
WORD; and the
world hath hated them,
because they are not of the world,
even as I am not of the world. John 17:14
You really
cannot blame those who are NOT of truth or OF faith and still want to
live off "religionism." You cannot attract the masses unless you
improvise sermons and songs and then perform them for money. Jesus
pointed to Isaiah and Ezekiel to identify the Scribes and Pharisees as
hypocrites meaning "rhetoricians, singers and instrument players."
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. John 17:15
EVIL IS:

The work of the evangelist is always to go to the lost and preach the gospel: and it is out in the world where the apostles (most of whom went out from Jerusalem) would come face to face with shipwreck, wild animals, and their faithless brethren. The object of the work of the church is that "others believe on Christ" and the apostles needed His prayer as they attempted to bring unity by converting others.
Here is how evangelists are SENT:
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Matt 28:18
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matt 28:19
And for their sakes I SANCTIFY myself, that they also might be SANCTIFIED through the TRUTH. John 17:19
And this is what they were to do:
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matt 28:19
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matt 28:20
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15
Disciples see no need to AFFIRM or UNIT: Disciples are students. Disciples were called Christians in Antioch. Therefore, only baptized believers are Christians or disciples. We--the twos or threes--can meet together for "synagogue" WITHOUT the need to wrestle over denominational dogma and the "pecking order."
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on ME through THEIR WORD; John 17:20
YOU CAN SPEAK THE SAME THINGS IF YOU SPEAK THAT WHICH IS WRITTEN. BECAUSE THE WORLD WILL HATE YOU YOU WILL RARELY HEAR THAT WHICH IS WRITTEN EITHER SUNG OR PREACHED.And here is how they were to sanctify others who BELIEVED:
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:16
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38

Romans 15 which is directly parallel to the "singing" passages in Ephesians and Colossians. Paul did not mention SINGING as an external ritual but ODEING which defines PSALMOS as "cantillation" which fits Pauls black text on white paper to SPEAK and TEACH and ADMONISH:
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning,

in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
John 17:21
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple [courts--never in the Holy Places], and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Acts 2:46
Jesus said that one must BELIEVE and be BAPTIZED to be a Disciple or Christian. In Mark one must believe and be baptized to be SAVED. In Acts 2:38 that meant the remission of sins. Those who were BEING SAVED by obedient baptism were ADDED to the church.
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should [were being saved] be saved. Acts 2:47
The church is the ONENESS where believers are COLLECTED together.
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 1Co.12:12
But now are they many members, yet but one body. 1Co.12:20
There can be no UNION nor is union DESIRABLE as long as people don't have a CLUE about the meaning of SYNAGOGUE OF CHRIST.
Indeed, HERESY is required to MARK OUT false teachers. Union is not desirable because the REMNANT idea means that the overwhelming majority of religionists are ACTING OUT their lostness as a VISUAL AID.
If people quit getting their WORD out of sentimental poetry then UNITY is within our reach.
Jesus defined the SONS of the Devil as those who SPEAK ON THEIR OWN.
