MIRIAM THE PROPHETESS WAS A SOOTHSAYER OR SORCERER: PRIESTESS OF HATHOR

From a later incident we understand that Miriam still believed that she way a prophetess of Yahweh perhaps as she had been to Hathor in Egypt. She is called a "prophetess" but there is no precedent. Miriam is probably derived from "Meri" (loved one) of the god "Amun." That is, "Meriamun."

John. T. Willis:
A. Miriam. Exod 15:19-21 states that after Pharaoh’s horses, chariots, and drivers went into the sea, and the Lord brought back the waters’ of the sea upon them, while the Israelites walked through the sea on dry land, “the prophetess” Miriam took a tambourine and summoned her audience to praise the Lord in song because he had triumphed gloriously over the Egyptians.

Ex 15:20 And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron,
         took a timbrel in her hand; and ALL THE WOMEN
         went out after her with timbrels and with dances
.

Ex. 15:21 And Miriam answered THEM, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

All translators thought that THEM was "ALL THE WOMEN." However, to make something that happened during the Exodus certify Women where there is NO Role beyond READING the Last Will and Testament of Jesus."

John.T.Willis:

Them” in v. 21 is a masculine pronoun in Hebrew, and therefore does not refer to the women (or, at least, the women alone) in v. 20. The imperative “Sing” in v. 21 is also masculine plural. Janzen suggests that Miriam led the people of Israel through the whole hymn, and
     that Moses and the Israelites (15:1),
     led by the dancing women (15:20), responded antiphonally to her lead.
     The process followed this pattern:
      Miriam called on Moses and the Israelites to sing to the Lord (15:21);
      then Moses and the Israelites responded, "I will sing to the Lord” (15:1).

Whether this is the correct interpretation or not, Exod 15:19-21 shows that Miriam was a prophetess, and that she called on her fellows to praise God in song to celebrate his victory over the Egyptians. In harmony with this portrait of Miriam, “the prophet Micah (6:4) regards her as a divinely commissioned leader alongside Moses and Aaron during the wilderness journey.”17 The Lord spoke through her just as he spoke through Moses and Aaron (Num 12:2).

Mic. 6:1  Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.
Mic. 6:2 Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD’S controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth:
      for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.
Mic. 6:3 O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.
Mic. 6:4 For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt,
       and redeemed thee out of the house of servants;
       and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

God denied that either Aaron or Miriam were Worship Leaders.

Mic. 6:5 O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted,
    and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal;
    that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.
Mic. 6:6 Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God?
     shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
Mic. 6:7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil?
      shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
Mic. 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
     and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy,
     and to walk humbly with thy God?

Here is what Miriam did which was common did what the Israelites did in Egypt and never ceased to do.

Here is what Miriam really did:

Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. Zec.14:3

Here is what God thought of her "revelations."

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Matthew 7:22

God will afflict Miriam with leprosy when she claims to speak for God.  The first meaning of prophet in the PAGAN sense meant a charismatic, musical performer.  All dramatic performance is INTERPRETATION which is, according to Paul, just speaking in tongues.

"Singing served as a means of inducing ecstatic prophecy (speaking in tongues). Thus the essential relationship between music and prophecy can be clearly seen. This relationship also explains why the expression for "making music" and "prophesying" was often identical in the ancient tongues. origen contra celsum 8.67.

Naba signifies not only "to prophesy" but also "to make music." (Quasten, Johannes, Music and Worship in Pagan and Christian Antiquity, p. 39)

Plaut 2.1.73   PERIPLECOMENUS  You are a simpleton. For, if you lay anything out on a bad wife and upon an enemy, that is an expense; that which is laid out on a deserving guest and a friend is gain; as that, which is expended upon sacred rites, is a profit to the wise man. By the blessing of the Gods, I have enough, with which to receive you with hospitality in my house. Eat, drink, indulge your tastes with me, and surfeit yourself with enjoyments; my house is at your service, myself likewise do I wish to be at your service. For, through the blessing of the Gods, I may say that, by reason of my wealth, I could have married a dowered wife of the best family; but I don't choose to introduce an everlasting female barker at me into my house.

PLEUSICLES  Why don't you choose? For 'tis a delightful thing to be the father of children [liberos]
PERIPLECOMENUS  Troth, 'tis very much sweeter by far to be free [liberum] yourself. For a good wife, if it is possible for her to be married anywhere on earth, where can I find her? But am I to take one home who is never to say this to me, "Buy me some wool, my dear, with which a soft and warm cloak may be made, and good winter under-clothes, that you mayn't catch cold this winter-weather;" such an expression as this you can never hear from a wife, but, before the cocks crow, she awakes me from my sleep, and says, "Give me some money, my dear, with which to make my mother a present on the Calend , give me some money to make preserves; give me something to give on the Quinquatrus to the SORCERESS [prae-cantrix] to the woman who interprets the dreams, to the prophetess, and to the female diviner; besides, 'tis impossible for me, in civility, not to fee the expiating woman; for long has the mattress-maker been grumbling, because she has received nothing; besides, the midwife found fault with me, that too little had been sent for her. What! arn't you going to send something to the nurse that brings up the young slaves? It's a shame if nothing's sent her; with what a brow she does look at me." These and many other expenses of the women like to these frighten me from a wife, to be uttering speeches to me like to this.

synagogue, also spelled synagog, in Judaism, a community house of worship that serves as a place not only for liturgical services but also for assembly and study. Its traditional functions are reflected in three Hebrew synonyms for synagogue: bet ha-tefilla (“house of prayer”), bet ha-kneset (“house of assembly”), and bet ha-midrash (“house of study”). The term synagogue is of Greek origin (synagein, “to bring together”) and means “a place of assembly.” The Yiddish word shul (from German Schule, “school”) is also used to refer to the synagogue, and in modern times the word temple is common among some Reform and Conservative congregations.

John 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

Hes. Th. 1      From the Heliconian Muses let us begin to sing, who hold the great and holy mount of Helicon, and dance on soft feet about the deep-blue spring and the altar of the almighty son of Cronos, [5] and, when they have washed their tender bodies in Permessus or in the Horse's Spring or Olmeius, make their fair, lovely dances upon highest Helicon and move with vigorous feet.

"Philodemus considered it paradoxical that music should be regarded as veneration of the gods while musicians were paid for performing this so-called veneration. Again, Philodemus held as self deceptive the view that music mediated religious ecstasy. He saw the entire condition induced by the noise of cymbals and tambourines as a disturbance of the spirit.

He found it significant that, on the whole, only women and effeminate men fell into this folly.
Accordingly,
nothing of value could be attributed to music; it was no more than a slave of the sensation of pleasure, which satisfied much in the same way that food and drink did.

This would apply to the musical fall from grace at Mount Sinai:  the worship of the Mother Goddess allowed males to "perform the role of women." David's stola was worn by the office of prostitute and the Ephod was a phallic symbol which David cast off and went naked.

Chrysostom's Commentary on Galatians:

Ver. 12.
"I would that they which unsettle you would even cut themselves off." And he says well "that unsettle you."
"A man that is heretical after the first and second admonition refuse." (Tit. iii: 10) If they will,
let them not only be circumcised, but mutilated.
Where then are those who dare to mutilate themselves; seeing that they draw down the Apostolic curse, and accuse the workmanship of God, and take part with the Manichees? ... But if you will not allow this, why do you not mutilate the tongue for blasphemy, the hands for rapine, the feet for their evil courses, in short, the whole body? For the ear enchanted by the sound of a flute hath often enervated the soul;
and the perception of a sweet perfume by the nostrils hath bewitched the mind, and made it frantic for pleasure

Abomination of Desolation  http://www.pineycom.com/MailKingdom.html

Plutarch of Chaeronea held that the God of the Jews was none other than Dionysos. "First the time and character of the greatest, most sacred holiday of the Jews clearly befit Dionysos. When they celebrate their so-called Fast, at the height of the vintage, they set out tables of all sorts of fruit under tents and huts plaited for the most part of vines and ivy.

They call the first of the two days Tabernacles. A few days later they celebrate another festival, this time identified with Bacchos not through obscure hints but plainly called by his name, a festival that is a sort of 'Procession of Branches' or 'Thyrsos Procession' in which they enter the Temple each carrying a thyrsos.

What they do after entering we do not know, but it is probable that the rite is a Bacchic revelry, for in fact they use little trumpets to invoke their God as do the Argives at their Dionysia.

Others of them advance playing harps; these players are called in their language Levites, either from 'Lysios' or better, from 'Euois.'

Of Topheth (hell) and Tabret or Tambourine: "The Hebrew words are nearly identical; and Tophet was probably the king's 'music grove' or garden, denoting originally nothing evil or hateful. Afterwards it was defiled by idols, and polluted by the sacrifices of Baal and the fires of Molech. Then it became the place of abomination, the very gate or pit of hell." (Smith's Bible Dictionary, p. 960)

"Once the music-grove, where Solomon's singers, with voice and instrument, regaled the king, the court and the city; then the temple of Baal, the high place of Moloch, resounding with the cries of burning infants; then (in symbol) the place where is the wailing and gnashing of teeth." (p. 3313-14, four-volume Smith).

Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee,
          O Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
          that thou hast HID these things from the WISE and prudent,
          and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Rubel Shelly and John York: Rubel: Let me give you an example to work with in relation to the question you've raised: homosexuality and the ordination of practicing homosexuals to ministry.

Why don't we at least entertain the possibility that the Bible simply reflects an ANCIENT TABOO or homophobic prejudice in a few people like Paul -- a taboo and prejudice we need to outgrow?

Rom. 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Rom. 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Rom. 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom. 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom. 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Rom. 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them

2Tim. 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, [churches]
          and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

2Tim. 3:7 Ever learning, and never ABLE to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2Tim. 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses,
           so do these also resist the truth:

       men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
2Tim. 3:9 But they shall proceed no further:

JOHN T. WILLIS
HULDAH JUSTIFIES WOMEN PROPHESIERS OR MUSICAL WORSHIP LEADERS.
Her authority as AUTHENTIA would be to compose and try to preside over with her own songs or sermons.

John.T.Willis Thesis for Women Preachers: "Huldah and other prophetesses are commended in the Bible for their prophetic work. In view of the divinely approved role of women as God's servants, it is important that these commendations be understood accurately."
Huldah was a PROPHETS' WIFE: She "prophesied" as opposed to singing by point the ignorant rulers to the Scriptures.

2Chr. 34:22 And Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spake to her to that effect.

H4932 mishneh mish-neh' From H8138 ; properly a repetition, that is, a duplicate (copy of a document), or a double (in amount); by implication a second (in order, rank, age, quality or location):—college, copy, double, fatlings, next, second (order), twice as much.

She was near, for she dwelt at Jerusalem, in a place called Mishneh, the second rank of buildings from the royal palace.”Commentary on the Whole Bible Volume II (Joshua to Esther)

II Kings 22: 14 has Huldah “living in Jerusalem in the Mishneh,” which the Aramaic Targum renders as “study hall,” i.e., academy, a place of Torah.”Huldah, the Prophet: Midrash and Aggadah.
"Mishneh Torah" ("The Second Law") is the name used in the Bible itself to designate the book of Deuteronomy, which is a kind summary or review of the rest of the Torah. Maimonides' Mishneh Torah was intended to be a summary of the entire body of Jewish religious law.

The Mishneh Torah is sometimes referred to as the Yad Ha-Hazaqah, "the mighty arm." This is a play on the numerological value of the Hebrew word for arm, "yad," which is 14, equal to the number of volumes in this code.

JOHN T. WILLIS CLAIMS THAT GOD APPROVED MIRIAM WHEN HE GAVE HER A DOSE OF LEPROSY

In harmony with this portrait of Miriam, “the prdphet Micah (6:4) regards her as a DIVINELY COMMISSIONED  leader ALONGSIDE Moses and Aaron during the wilderness journey.

John.T.Willis Asserts that: "The Lord spoke through HER just as he spoke through Moses and Aaron (Num 12:2)".

IS THIS A DELIBERATE FALSEHOOD! IT IS BLASPHEMY--DESPISING THE WORD.

Jo Bass, John T. Willis, Jeaneane Reese, Jackie Halstead, Rhonda Lowry make the SAME claim as Miriam. That is because John T. Willis has been the leader of massive sowing of discord.

John 8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you:
        but he that sent me is true;
        and I SPEAK to the world those things which I have HEARD of him.
John 8:27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them,
        When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
        then shall ye know that I am he,
        and that I do nothing of myself;
                but as my Father hath taught me,
                I speak these things.
John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me:
        the Father hath not left me alone;
         for I DO always those things that PLEASE him.
John 8:30 As he spake these WORDS, many believed on him.
John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,
        IF ye continue in my WORD, THEN are ye my disciples indeed;

GOD PROVED THAT MIRIAM DID NOT SPEAK FOR HIM. NEITHER DO MALE OR FEMALE PREACHERS.
