Godhood”—the
state or quality of being God Col. 2:9
I will tell you briefly what
I believe concerning the Godhead. Around 1611, when the King
James Version was first published, the suffix “-head” was the
Middle English equivalent to our modern suffix “-hood.” Thus,
Godhead is an archaic form of “Godhood”—the state or
quality of being God. The King James translators thus
chose this word to translate the Greek “theion” in Acts 17:29;
“theiotes” in Rom. 1:20; and “theotetos” in Col. 2:9. As we
can see from the root of these terms, “theos,” all of these
words relate to Divinity, or Deity.
2Pet.
1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious
promises:
that by these ye might
be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the
corruption that is in the world through lust.
Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God,
we ought not to think
that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver,
or stone, graven by art and man’s device.
g2304. θεῖος theios, thi´-os;

In all of heaven and earth, there is only

God is SPIRIT in
nature: as humans live on a substratum of flesh, God
exists in the realm of Spirit or Mind. Neither in
Hebrew or Greek does "spirit" identify a person but in a
highly figurative sense the mental disposition of a person.
Remembering repositional phrases, the Spirit OF
Christ can never be another person.

Christ's Enemies: John 10:33
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee

but for blasphemy;
and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
A Christian: John 10:36 Say
ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified,
and sent into the world,
Thou blasphemest;
because I said, I am the Son of God?
TWO:

and one mediator between
God and men,
the MAN Christ
Jesus;
THREE:
God Said: Num. 23:19 God
is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of
man, that he should repent:
hath he said, and shall he
not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Jesus Said: John 6:53 Then

Except ye eat the FLESH

God is: John 4:24 God is

and this is
