And this deathless strain,-the support of the whole and the harmony of all,-reaching from the centre to the circumference, and from the extremities to the central part, has harmonized this universal frame of things,

"Jubal made reed instruments, and harps, and flutes, and whistles, and the devils went and dwelt inside them. When men blew into the pipes, the devils sang inside them, and sent out sounds from inside them. "

"The oldest pagan superstition is that the "worshippers" could get a message from the gods with the use of musical instruments. Today, musical worship facilitators are hired at great expense to "help the worshipers come into the presence of God."

Most pagan forms of worship, however expensively promoted, are a result of a total lack of confidence in Christ's ability to extablish the kingdom without modern scholars. This, in turn, is the result of seeing the kingdom as an external governmental plan to establish and enforce ethics for the entire world. The Jews are building harps and training musicians and Christians use purely-human forms such as Promise Keepers, Willow Creek, or Jubilee to organize and enforce these new schemes. Once established, this will enable or enpower Jesus (the God of the universe) to return and establish the kingdom He failed to establish the first time. It all begins with rejecting Lord Jesus Christ as full Deity Who lives among us in Spirit form in our hearts where He establishes the only kingdom He will ever establish.

Father-Son Live With and Walk Among Us in Spirit Have you wondered how men with Phds in Bible can write and say some of the things they say? You have read a bit and you know that they must be deliberately ignoring the last half of John 14:18 by just cutting it off! Well, don't worship the "doctors of the Law" because Jesus said that they will take away the key to knowledge. The punch-line to the promise which the doctors ignore is:

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John14:18

If we have misplaced the Comforter and His Now Kingdom perhaps we need to restore faith that the answers come as we are discipled to Him and not in love with a human ink blotter who dries up all of the water.That is why Jesus said: "The kingdom is within you." That is, in the heart, mind or spirit. Father-Son in Spirit form live with and walk among those who keep His commandments. But don't look around for the African "Little man (Holy Spirit) in the big man (me)." He will live within the heart of the meek, lowly and those who are so busy seeking His will that they don't' have time to be mesmerized and go out looking for Him.

Of God:

"He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure. Isaiah 33:6NIV

And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; Isaiah 11:2

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63

Of those who do not exalt Christ:

"You conceive chaff, you give birth to straw; your breath (spirit) is a fire that consumes you. Isaiah 33:11

I love that! Those giving birth to new paradigms or models for the church which will cure all ills including bad breath are like mother dogs. They must have been impregnated by a threshing machine. They conceive chaff and they give birth to straw. Jesus and Paul said God would burn them out and burn them up by their own effort. The doctors of the law often see ministry in the eyes of Dominion Theology. (See the Resource Index). They want to rule the roost and reap the rewards. However, Paul warned against those too involved with rubbing up against one another talking about themselves because. After defining how to conduct a fellowship at some level he wrote:

If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 1 Timothy 6:3

he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words (trifles) that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions 1 Timothy 6:4

and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. 1 Timothy.6:5

But godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6

Paul compares the few to the many. Most of those selling religious programs "door to door" are not, cannot be, honest or they would be teaching the Word. They may be false teachers. Therefore, we are warned not to go out with the masses. Jesus surely had his one hour of fame with the masses. But guess what? He said that He spoke to the mass movements only by parables because "seeing they do not see and hearing they do not hear."

Judgment is often passed when the masses applaud the performance. They may be getting impregnated with chaff, the deliver straw right there in the pulpit.

Better watch out when you are made of straw. If you blow hot air and run too fast the blast will catch you on fire and consume you.Scripture Was to Make the Truth Available to AllWonder why you don't stay with your own flock and read the God-given Scripture or at least send away for the tapes and books? Well, you may not know it but you have become infatuated with a person or an idea sold to you like swamp land. You want to go and get yours at the source.

What you may not know is that you lust to be excited and made emotionally drunk from the endorphins created by busy work, planning, travelling, meetings, well-studied hypnotic speeches, little classes teaching you nothing and musical worship teams (yes, female forsooth) to get your juices flowing. They used to do that in Corinth but Paul said that "your assemblies do more harm than good."The Truth of Christ is in Kansas City, Seattle or Portland. Jesus freed you from the running to and fro in panic looking for the now but not quite kingdom of Christ.

Neither shall they say, Lo here or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:21

Know that going to the book fairs and method sellers is not the best way because anyone who accepts the honor (worship) of men will be eaten alive by worms. Remember that they carry the germ or seed of their own straw-burning:

People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 1 Timothy 6:9

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 1 Timothy 6:10

But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. 1 Timothy 6:11

Instead of pursuing new methods of teaching, playing music or ruling the roost why not pursue righteousness right where you are. This is the Spirit or Mind of Christ which never gets close to a wineskin:

And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; Isaiah 11:2 and quick understanding.

"But we must listen to them they are among the scholars with the Phds from denominational colleges." Guess what they believe and why they believe it? They, too, believe what they are told. Even the God of the True Water skin knew that when He warned:

Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering." Luke11:52

Paul warned that this "deep sleep" is not removed until people turn to the Lord which means turning from self and any human pretender to the throne. The doctor's of the law say it is sealed. And they literally fall into a stomping fit of anxiety if anyone else has any thing to contribute to the dialog.

For instance, a church bulletin read: "God cannot communicate in human languages." The clear implication was: "But I can, for a price." When the damage has been done, those without the degrees reject the clear statements of Scripture and claim that they are not competent.

However, the truth of God is in a book. It has the power because Jesus, who had only One Incarnation, said of His Words: "They are spirit and they are life" (Jn 6:63). To deny that is to blaspheme Christ.

For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered. Isaiah 29:10

And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: Isaiah 29:11

And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. Isaiah 29:12

Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Isaiah 29:13

Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. Isaiah 29:14

God compares drawing near with the mouth without really wanting to hear from God as "singing well and playing an instrument well." This is the key to a loss of love for the Word. Ezekiel rounded out Isaiah's warning:

Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord. Ezekiel 33:30

And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. Ezekiel 33:31 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not. Ezekiel 33:32

And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them. Ezekiel 33:33

Why do I feel that when these men ignore the self-evident meaning of a passage that they have passed into the deaf state. Perhaps they cannot ever again be able to peer into the Word and hear Christ speaking to them: For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 1 Corinthians 1:19

Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer (sophist: the first paid teachers) of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 1 Corinthians 1:20

Do you wonder why the dancing, panting, spitting, sweating, drooling, red-in-the-face performer doesn't feel like a fool? He thinks he has the power to sermonize the Word to force it to make you conform to his vision of it! The "audience" weeps or comes for the laughing exercises. Does he know that he is blind and deaf? No. But he is conceiving chaft, delivering straw and it wil just burn him up.Musical Soothsayers to Find the Lost God

This blindness and deafness means that no keynoter or seven featured team members and "Temple Musical Worship Team," has anything which you do not have. Why should you leave your flock and subconsciously respond to the wineskin affect image. Did you know that the familiar spirit of the witch of Endor was a water or wineskin?

Owb (h178) obe; from the same as 1 (appar. through the idea of prattling a father's name); prop. a mumble, i. e. a water-skin (from its hollow sound); hence a necromancer (ventriloquist, as from a jar): - bottle, familiar spirit

The nebel or viol described by Amos was in connection with the "feast with and for dead ancestors." Did you know that the wineskin or old billy goat hide sounded mystical, divine and beautiful? But did you know that it had the mystical magic from its "father" because its sounds came from one spiritually collapsed because they were empty? Did you know that the "praise the lord with the wineskin made into a harp" was "talented" people making a fool of themselves? Did you know that the pagans believed, and David imitated it, that making a fool of yourself, raving, hand clapping, hand waving, dancing around on the pulpit literally or mystically making your self naked, was believed to "attract the gods" so that they could come and have sex with you so they would be appeased and not harm you? The watching world would see the magic and say: "Surely the gods are in him." Christ might weep for the legalistic insecurity. Perhaps the antics of the fertility priestess will give you more children or more lambs or more "members disguised as empty pews." The viol of Amos shows just how empty all forms of "music as magic" really is:

Nabel (h5034) naw-bale'; a prim. root; to wilt; gen. to fall away, fail, faint; fig. to be foolish or (mor.) wicked; causat. to despise, disgrace: - disgrace, dishonour, lightly esteem, fade (away, - ing), fall (down, -ling, off), do foolishly, come to nought, * surely, make vile, wither..

Of Lamech

Being aware of the parabolic languages of Genesis, early theologians understood that that the charismatic worship of Cain and his decendants -- Jubal, Jabal, Tubal-Cain and Naamah -- acted as a control agent but the effects were a form of warfare. In modern terms, it was the New Lights against the Old Lights. Of Cain, Clement wrote:

"For he was a murderer and a liar, and with his sins was not willing to be at peace with respect to the government. Moreover, those who came forth by succession from him were the first adulterers. And there were psalteries, and harps, and forgers of instruments of war. Wherefore also the prophecy of his descendants being full of adulterers and of psalteries, secretly by means of pleasures excites to wars." (The Clementine Homilies, Homily III, Chapt XXV, Ante Nicene Fathers, Vol 8, p. 243).

The harp was the familiar spirit of musical worship and the fools believed that the "gods" lived within and spoke from the mystical, but empty, sounds. Remember that the clergy team in Babylon was made up of priests, soothsayers and musicians. Jubal speaks to this by the very meaning of his name:

Yôbâl (Jubal) and Tôbalkin (Tubal-Cain), the two brethren, the sons of Lamech, the blind man, who killed Cain, invented and made all kinds of instruments of music.

Jôbâl made reed instruments, and harps, and flutes, and whistles, and the devils went and dwelt inside them. When men blew into the pipes, the devils sang inside them, and sent out sounds from inside them.

Tôbalkîn made cymbals, and sistra, and tambourines (or drums). And lasciviousness and fornication increased among the children of Cain, and they had nothing to occupy them except fornication--now they had no obligation [to pay] tribute, and they had neither prince nor governor--and eating, and drinking, and lasciviousness, and drunkenness, and dancing and singing to instruments of music, and the wanton sportings (Play at Mount Sinai and by David moving the Ark of the Covenant) of the devils,

and the laughter which affordeth pleasure to the devils, and the sounds of the furious lust of men neighing after women.

And Satan, finding [his] opportunity in this work of error, rejoiced greatly, because thereby he could compel the sons of Seth to come down from that holy mountain. There they had been made to occupy the place of that army [of angels] that fell [with Satan],

there they were beloved by God, there they were held in honour by the angels, and were called "sons of God,"

even as the blessed David saith in the psalm, "I have said [Fol. I b, col. I], Ye are gods, and all of you sons of the Most High." Ps. 82:6 The Cave of Treasures, Second Thousand Years

"Again, if you prefer to test the presence of God by the agreeable effects on the hearing, and not sight, or smell, or taste, harps get their strings and pipes their bones from animals; and these become musical by being dried, and rubbed, and twisted. So the pleasures of music, which you hold to have come from the divine kingdom, are obtained from the refuse of dead animals, and that, too, when they are dried by time, and lessened by rubbing, and stretched by twisting. Such rough treatment, according to you, drives the divine substance from living objects; even cooking them, you say, does this. Why then are boiled thistles not unwholesome? Is it because God, or part of God, leaves them when they are cooked? ST.AUGUSTIN: ON THE MORALS OF THE MANICHAEANS, Ch 16,46

The sounding brass in Greek is from "to make a loud noise" from a hollow preacher:

Chalkos (g5465) khal-kos'; perh. from 5400 through the idea of hollowing out as a vessel (this metal being chiefly used for that purpose); copper (the substance, or some implement or coin made of it): - brass, money. (The sound was from the impassable chasm of the dead)

Phobetron (g5400) fob'-ay-tron; neut. of a der. of 5399; a frightening thing, i.e. terrific portent: - fearful sight.

Salvation or Soothsaying with Musical WorshipDid you know that this sounding gong is from Chaldeans which was synonymous with astrology or necromancy or soothsaying? Did you know that the "hissing" of Satan in the garden of Eden speaks directly to the magic of musical instruments made of brass?

Kasdiy (h3778) kas-dee' a Chaldoean (as if so descended); also an astrologer as if proverbial of that people: - Chaldeans, Chaldees, inhabitants of Chaldea In Israel and in Corinth the clear image is trying to arouse the dead with sex, music and a wineskin model. Amos warned about the nebel which is a sign of a collapsed system and collapsed prophet:

That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David; Am 6:5

That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph. Amos 6:6

Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed. Amos 6:7

They were stealing the wealth (time, money, energy, mental emotion) of the movement and consuming it upon themselves. They were ready to even make the children suffer so the male and female leaders could get together and have a "religious festival" every day. However, they cared nothing for the group which fed them.

By promoting themselves they would go into captivity to a nation "speaking unknown tongues" and forcing worship through music.This was the warning of Ezekiel. People will travel from "Florida" and come and sit down in the market places while pretending to get a message from the Lord (how to teach, form a choir, how to be spiritual, how I acquired humility). Did you know that many will come just to see people make fools of themselves by pretending to have answers not free from the book?

Did you know that they will come often just to be entertained and be sexually stimulated by the female and effeminate, booms and clangs, swaying and hand-waving, amourous love songs (call it Christian Rock, an oxymoron) while pretend but later literal instrumental music comes from empty soothsayers and familiar spirits? Did you hear the band music at Jubilee 98? Do they really know why they come? Joseph Campbell might say that it is the affect image of Jubilee or wineskins so that the magic works and they do not know why they get on their donkey (censored) and journey the dusty road to New Jerusalem in the "city set on seven hills." We repeat God saying to Ezekiel:

Naga (h5060) naw-gah'; a prim. root; prop. to touch, i. e. lay the hand upon (for any purpose; euphem., to lie with a woman); by impl. to reach (fig. to arrive, acquire); violently, to strike (punish, defeat, destroy, etc.): - beat, (* be able to) bring (down), cast, come (nigh), draw near (nigh), get up, happen, join, near, plague, reach (up), smite, strike, touch.

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. Gen 3:3

The serpent which was "used" by Satan is the Hebrew word:

Nachash (h5175) naw-khawsh'; from 5172; a snake (from its hiss):- serpent.

The "serpent" who spoke to Eve used human language and was upright or spiritual. The serpent is defined by the hissing or incantation of the soothsayer or enchanter.

Nachash (h5173) nakh'-ash; from 5172; an incantation or augury:- enchantment.

"ENCHANTER - a male psychic who specializes in the skill of influencing people for good or evil by creating a thought atmosphere around his subject by a technique using songs, chants or rhythmic sounds. [cf. ENCHANT, THOUGHT ATMOSPHERE].

Nachash (h5172) naw-khash'; a prim. root; prop. to hiss, i. e. whisper a (magic) spell; gen. to prognosticate:- * certainly, divine, enchanter, (use) * enchantment, learn by experience, * indeed, diligently observe.

Isaiah spoke of the Musical Worship King of Tyre:

Take an harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast been forgotten; make sweet melody (h5059), sing many songs, that thou mayest be remembered. Isaiah 23:16

He was effeminate from "doting on instruments" but She wanted to be "remembered as a male." The song singing is related to the minstrels who turned around to excite the watching males. It is--

Shuwr (h7788) shoor; a prim. root; prop. to turn, i. e. travel about as a harlot or a merchant): - go, sing. See also 7891. (This fits Babylon in Rev 18)

And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick. 1 Samuel 18:6 (three-stringed lutes)

Playing the flute, before it received its second incarnation as a side-played instrument, reminded the males of an obscene act and, of course, excited and polluted them. They even tried that on God. Another word for playing instruments or otherwise polluting is:

take inheritance,

pipe, player on instruments, pollute, (cast as) profane (self), prostitute, slay (slain), sorrow, stain, wound.

Hebrew Dictionary linked to Strong Numbers Chalal (h2490) an instroctor/ of distance/space, start, commence; to redeem, to desecrate, make void, to create a cavity, vacuum, hollow, an empty space; a hollow/vacuum as a means to trap or bring together, nature; a vault, to make hollow: to wound, pierce, define, violate, make vulgar, wounded, slain, dead, the action of resisting: to break, disregard; violating instruction, to arrange/ an order of instruction; to assign, to pipe, play pipes

Those who honored Jerusalem above all else would sing and play. However, when they lost Jerusalem and animal sacrifices they had the common decency to sit down and shut up: As well the singers (h5059) as the players (h2490) on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee. Ps 87:7

Chalal went along with halal which usually, but not always, had a destructive meaning:

Halal (h1984) haw-lal'; a prim. root; to be clear (orig. of sound, but usually of color); to shine; hence to make a show, to boast; and thus to be clamorously foolish; to rave; causat. to celebrate; also to stultify: - (make) boast (self), celebrate, commend, (deal, make), fool (- ish, -ly), glory, give [light], be (make, feign self) mad (against), give in marriage, sing, be worthy of praise, rage, renowned, shine. And this gave rise to the word which best describes Lucifer as the original minister of music:

Heylel (h1966) hay-lale'; from 1984 (in the sense of brightness); the morning-star: - Lucifer.

This musical worship violated the law in Numbers 10:7. Here, God outlawed musical devices and loud rejoicing when the people were called into assembly which never happened unless they were to be instructed.
