In every Greek city the god Dionysus was worshipped by fraternities and sororities and also by mixed communities. Dionysus was a god of fruitfulness and vegetation but especially of wine. The Dionysiac festivals provided an opportunity for stepping outside of the daily routine. The word "abomination" is also key to understanding the context. In Hebrew, the word "to 'evah," (abomination) is almost invariably linked to idolatry. The end-time prophecy is of the Babylonian Mother of Harlots will use "lusted after fruits." In Revelation 18 the Muses (and Graces) and the instrument players are called SORCERERS. At the same time you hear the "trumpets sound" Jesus visits and removes the LAMPS or the seven spirits of Christ (Isaiah 11). in Revelation 19 the Church of Christ as a tiny remnant rejoices BECAUSE the instrumentalists have been driven out. The sorcerers (Miriam, Levites) are being Driven Alive into the Lake of Fire.
The Jacob-Cursed and God abandoned Levites worshipped the starry host where Abaddon, Apollyon was a primary Sun god. The SEVICE of the Levites was hard bondage which is the Abaddon MARK of abandonment. In Revelation, Abaddon is unleashed from "hell" along with the "locusts" who in the Greek world of John were the Muses or musical worship team of Apollo, Abaddon or Apollyon. The Greeks knew them as filthy adulteresses (selling anything in the name of Jesus).
The performers are called SORCERERS and they with the DOGS and LIARS are to be CAST ALIVE into the LAKE OF FIRE. Christ defined the Prophetic Type in Isaiah 30 which your preacher cannot read.
God's Holy Fire
Calling down Gods "holy" fire: Malachi knew about ACU, Ken Cukrowski, Mark Hamilton, and James Thompson when he asked: "who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a REFINER'S FIRE,
The ZOE GROUP wants to kindle the fire as it LOOKS TO THE HILLS from which THEIR salvation comes. But, the proof text warns against looking to the MOUNTAIN GODS. Everyone seems DESTINED to lust to be the first to kindle GOD'S HOLY FIRE:
"The nature of a fire is to spread, but how can we expect the fire to grow and to catch onto others if ours is only a candle-sized flame? The best way to witness to your friends is to show them by example. When Non-Christians see the inferno in our lives they will find it irresistible and will be drawn like moths."--TO GET SINGED. Satan's agents want to attract you to the FIRE by making it seem to be something GOOD like the "fruit" in the garden of Eden. You know that the serpent is defined as a Musical Enchanter.
means "HELL or suggesting hell." The CONSUMERS WITH FIRE literally invite you to participate in HELL right now. But God always MARKS them with some sign so that those awake will not turn into toast.
The New Wineskins was founded in 1992 by Rubel Shelly and Mike Cope: this was a very divisive but largly abortive effort to RESTRUCTER Churches of Christ into associates of the Christian Churches or NACC. It was part of the Jubilee Movement as a result of the Pope's call for Jubilee 2000 when all of the "daughter" churches were to return to the mother church. The meaning of the Jubilee in Rubel Shelly's Aztec Patternism was a 52 year and 52 week revival: they burned down all of the houses (congregations), sacrificed a "king for the year", lit a fire in his chest and quickly ran out to the rebuilt houses (congregations) and RELIGHT the fires.-Incentor, I. one who sets the tune or begins to sing, a precentor, singer (post-class.).

God is the LOGOS: when He breathes (Spirit) it is articulated by His "Mouth." God made Jesus to be both Lord and Christ and LOGOS: The LOGOS is the Regulative Principle so that Shelly as the original WINESKINNER has no role and no dole: the elders were commanded to "teach that which has been taught."
REST and RESTORATION is promised by trashing the "laded burden" (arousal songs, sermons, taxes) and the Burden Laders.

Shelly followed the Plot Pattern which from Machiavelli and Hitler meant that you have to DISSASSOCIATE people or drive them into madness to make them HATE their old rotten and decayed church so that HE could replace it with a New Wineskins Pattern. YOU no longer had the right to read, interpret or speak the Word outside of the community: all interpretation had to be by the community which is spelled "commune." Of course, Shelly would supply the GROUP MENTALITY. Shelly probably supplied Josh Graves to Otter Creek which followed the Wineskins pattern and added instrumental music to their already madness driven performance.
The boast is that a group "infiltrates" and slowly diverts your church into a "theater for holy entertainment."
Wineskins was born in sowing of discord and abusive writings against the "traditionalists" by SELECT AUTHORS who were in fact dupes of the NACC. The loving trick is that they become the Persecuting Attorney and you are not allowed to respond: they call that a Kangaroo Court.

In the coming years, churches of Christ will need to respond, demonstrably, to the Restoration cry coming from this young generation and in so doing may restore their full role of influence in the unfolding Christian story.The Christian Church became a SECTARIAN division of the Disciples of Christ officially beginning in 1927. However, they had been actively infiltrating and trying to take over Churches of Christ and force them to become instrumental and join the Society.
Churches of Christ were never unioned with the Disciples of Christ at any time: in 1832 there was an effort to work together on efforts but it is a lie to say that Churches of Christ were a SECTARIAN division and destroyed the unity. A few examples of attempted confiscation of property led Churches of Christ to understand that any joint effort never meant unity but destruction.
ACU, Pepperdine and NACC had the same program of twisting the book of Revelation and some of the same speakers.
Jesus said that doctors of the law take away the key to knowledge: He called the Scribes and Pharisees, Hypocrites. In the Ezekiel PROPHETIC TYPE the Spirit OF Christ named self-writers or self-composers, singers and instrument players. So, it is possible to have a Doctor of the Law of legalism expressed in "worship rituals" durinng the School of Christ and stll prove that they entend to take away the key to knowledge.
THE PRESENT REVISION DESTROYED ALL OF THE POSTED ROOTS AND SOME ALLOWED REBUTTALS SO THEY CAN GET A FRESH START. HOWEVER, THE AGENDA IS STILL BASED ON FALSE PREMISES.

Kenneth Sublett Jay Guin is active in building The Progressive Church of Christ which debunks each and every Biblical and Historic view of the "legalistic, sectarian, hypocrite, patternist" church of christ. When Keith was in charge and Jay Guin presented his ANTI-anti-instrument position he called on several writers to defend what Rick Atchley confessed as "taking your youth to hear all of the "christian" bands: We taught them to LEAVE OUR MOVEMENT. Not only is this denying the clear text and recorded history, it accepts "sowing of discord" because they claim that a spirit or God commanded them to impose the "worship" teams always leading to "instruments." At the bottom of this page you will see that a large body of work by both sides has been removed.

Kenneth Sublett Wineskins has roots: if you are going to cut the roots off then maybe you need to rename it and get another url. It's not hard: if you just look at the first bit about the ONLY pattern for the assembly you will discover that Paul said the same thing: the command is to SPEAK and the resource is the LOGOS or the Regulative Principle. Speak is the opposite of self-speak, singing, playing or acting. The Purpose Driving Wineskins was to impose music when there is no command, example or remote inference that the godly people who attended synagogue ever violated the command against "vocal or instrumental rejoicing" including elevates self-speaking.
