Mike Cope: I heard very little about the Holy Spirit or the Trinity growing up. Like Alexander Campbell himself,
many of us were afraid that a focus on the Spirit would lead to emotional excesses.
Most people heard a lot: close to no one ever thought of HOLY SPIRIT as another god person REQUIRED to enable the One God the Father. The only "god" identified as a SPIRIT was Apollon or Abaddon the leader of the LOCUSTS or MUSES.
That's called psychological violence: claiming to be superior to some of the greatest scholars. No one who has read the bible BY PERMISSION OF JESUS could ever think that Holy Spirit (Pure Breath) was a person: After Jesus certified the PROPHETS so that A Church of Christ is built upon or EDUCATED by the Prophets and Apostles:

And so this is the most common understanding among the church fathers. The the word is the SON of the speaker as FATHER then there is ot problem trying to sort out how a LITERAL son of god could be equal with the Father or of the same age.1st. BUT NEVER OF A PERSON. OF is a preposition and it is a MARK that the SCHOLARS cannot ever understand that the Spirit OF Christ is HIS OWN SPIRIT. Baptism gives one A holy spirit or A good conscience.

Mike Cope: This Spirit is the Paraclete whom Jesus promised when he said it was better for us that he leave following his resurrection. The Spirit is the moving force behind the witnessing of the early church in Acts. And the Holy Spirit is the power behind the transformation that Paul expects of those who have been baptized into Jesus.

The PROMISE of the Holy Spirit was the EVANGELISTIC OFFICE given to Jesus who poured out what you see and hear in the upper room.

Mike Cope: God’s Spirit is, in the images of scripture itself, the wind that blows new life into God’s people, the river that flows from the relationship of the Trinity, and the fire that empowers and emboldens Christ- followers. We are both individually and collectively “the temple of the Holy Spirit.”
Speaking is restricted to the elders to TEACH THAT WHICH HAS BEEN TAUGHT. Ephesians 5 Speaks with being filled with the SPIRIT and in Colossians 3 using the WORD OF CHRIST.

"When we think of filling, we usually picture a container into which something is poured or shoveled until it is full. That is not what Paul had in mind here. Paul was not speaking of being filled up; he had in mind the idea of being filled out through, or permeated by the Holy Spirit's influence.

Jesus warned against the lord, lord sayers who were musical prophesiers and wasn't lovey-dovey when He said:
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoreth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. Mt.15:8
