The Gift of The Holy Spirit
2.29.20 The gift of the Holy Spirit is the gift of A personal holy spirit when Jesus Christ as Spirit washes away unholiness at the time and place of water baptism. The indwelling of a PERSON called The Holy Spirit denies the unique Father-Son and denies that Full Deity dwelled in Jesus of Nazareth whom God made to be both Lord and Christ: King and High Priest.
2 Peter 1 Prophecies by Christ and Made perfect by Jesus made to be both Lord and Christ is the foundation.

WHO WAS THE HOLY SPIRIT ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST?
No disciple would have any problem with this:
John 14:16-18 "And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; {that is} the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, {but} you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”The Same John wrote:
1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.
And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only,
but also for the sins of the whole world.
1John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments,
is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected:
hereby know we that we are in him.
1John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Peter understood that Jesus had promised that He would come to THEM:
Acts 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him,Paul could understood that clearly:
hat of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh,
he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
Acts 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, t
that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
Acts 2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted,
and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost,
he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Acts 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens:
but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
Acts 2:35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, t
hat God hath made
that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified,
both Lord and Christ.
John said that if you deny the ONE FATHER in Heaven and Jesus of Nazareth Whom God made to be both Lord and Christ you are an ANTI-Christ. That is because people who claim to be guided by "a" spirit reject the idea that in the form of Holy Spirit (post glorified) nothing will be revealed which has not been spoken in the human form.
Epesians 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive,
and [He] gave gifts unto men.
Ephesians 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it
but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
Ephesians 4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens,
that he might fill all things.)
Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists;
and some, pastors and teachers;
Ephesians 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints,
for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith,
and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man,
unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:ALEXANDER CAMPBELL:
Essays on the Work of the Holy Spirit, in the Salvation of Men.No. III. Spiritual Gifts.DAVID the king and prophet foretold that when Messiah the Lord would ascend to his throne, he would bestow gifts upon men. This passage of Psalms, lviii. 18. Paul (Eph. iv. 8.) applies to our Lord. When he ascended he says, "he gave," and by spiritual gifts qualified "some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers."
Peter also, on the day of Pentecost, ascribed all the stupendous gifts vouchsafed on that day to the Lord Jesus. "Therefore," says he, (Acts ii. 33.) "being exalted by the right hand of God, and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He hath poured out that which you now see and hear." These "distributions of the Holy Spirit,"
as Macknight renders Heb. ii. 4. issued in the perfect
Campbell affirms that the Gift of The Holy Spirit in this sense does not extend beyond the record of the prophets and apostles guided by the Spirit OF Christ.
qualification of apostles with "the word of wisdom;"
prophets with the "word of knowledge;"
evangelists with "tongues and miracles;"
pastors with an immediate possession of all the requisites to feeding the flock,
and teachers with the means necessary to instructing the novices in all the christian doctrine.
WHAT IS THE PERSONAL HOLY SPIRIT?
Acts 2:38 promises that those who obey in baptism will be given A holy spirit: The same Peter in 1 Peter 3:21 called it A good conscience: this gives one entrance into the school of Christ.
I will try to put the responses in Biblical order in time. For now, you should be warned that anyone -- especially wanting money -- claiming that they have THE Holy Spirit living inside of their body--the literal indwelling--can never be trusted, especially if they tell you that "a" spirit led them to lie about the Bible which Jesus said IS SPIRIT and IS LIFE: no human has anything to offer and Christ in Isaiah 58 commanded us NOT to speak our own words in the future assembly.
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly,Jesus of Nazareth was the Son of Mary: the seed (sperm) of Abraham. However, Christ now called Jesus the Christ laid aside His majesty and glory and took on the form of a man. By His resurrection Jesus continues to be SPIRIT or Holy Spirit as the only mediator between man and God. He lives as we live when we are resurrected:
that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified,
both Lord and Christ.
Rom. 1:1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle,
separated unto the gospel of God,
Rom. 1:2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
Rom. 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord,
which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
Rom. 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power,
according to the spirit of holiness,
by the resurrection from the dead:
Luke 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them,Those looking for a polytheistic Godhead totally missed all of the Epistles where the TWO ACTORS relationship defines
The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
Luke 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world,
and the resurrection from the dead,
neither marry, nor are given in marriage:Luke 20:36 Neither can they die any more:
for they are equal unto the angels;
and are the children of God,
being the children of the resurrection.Luke 20:37 Now that the dead are raised,
even Moses shewed at the bush,
when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.Luke 20:38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
God gives us The Gift of The Holy Spirit after baptism. The Gift is the gift of A holy spirit (ours) when our unholy spirit has sin washed away.
Deut. 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:I will not argue the fine points about the indwelling of the Spirit of Christ: it can be proven from the Bible that baptism is the washing of regeneration. Neither in Hebrew or Greek is the word spirit the name of a person. God is pure, holy meaning wholly Spirit as His nature. Therefore, when God "breathes" or "speaks" His Words are by definition spirit in nature. Spirit speaks to the rational nature of God and the mind of mankind.
Zech. 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth:
in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
1Cor. 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him;
and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
Spirit is almost always the spirit OF something or some one. When Jesus BREATHED on the Apostles and told them to receive the Holy Spirit (breath) Luke said that He TAUGHT them.
Notice that the Spirit is never defined as a person but the "mental disposition" of that person. Theophilus to Autolycus was the first person to use the word "trias." He nor any historic scholar thought of God being three eternal divine beings.
There is only ONE GOD: trinitarians say that the ONE GOD spoke and His word(s) were His SON. The Word or Son was "begotten" by the One Father if we think of Him beginning to Speak. Before He "began" to speak, they say, He had His WISDOM with Him but not another person. Spirit NEVER means a "people with their own abilities and centers of consciousness." Spirit means literally ONLY WIND. In a figurative sense God's BREATH is translates as "spirit" with no authority.For in glory He is incomprehensible, in greatness unfathomable, in height inconceivable, in power incomparable, in wisdom unrivalled, in goodness inimitable, in kindness unutterable.

Defining God's Nature
Fulfilled in Jesus of Nazareth: the Branch
Psa. 33:4 For the WORD of the LORD is right;
and all HIS works are done in truth.
Psa. 33:5 He loveth righteousness and judgment:
the earth is full of the goodness of THE LORD.
Psa. 33:6 By the (1) WORD of the
(2) LORD were the heavens made;
and all the host of them by the
(3) breath (spirit) of HIS mouth.
Psa. 33:7 HE gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap:
HE layeth up the depth in storehouses.
Psa. 33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD:
let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
Psa. 33:9 For HE spake, and it was done;
HE commanded, and it stood fast.Is. 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a (1) Branch shall grow out of his roots:
Is. 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counselmight, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
Is. 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding (spiritual] in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
Is. 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the (2) rod of his mouth, and with the (3) breath (Spirit) of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
Is. 11:5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
and
In a figurative sense the One God has His Word and Sprit as his compound nature: God has Wisdom, God Thinks, God breaths out "spirit" and God uses Prophets and Apostles to articulate His Word.
GOD SPOKE THROUGH THE PROPHETS AND THE PROPHECIES MADE MORE PERFECT WHEN FULFILLED BY JESUS.
Jesus as the Christ speaking of another Comforter said "I" will come to you: 1 John 2 says that the Name of the Comforter is Jesus Christ the Righteous:
John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.Paul said:
John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him,
If a man love me, he will keep my words:
and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:
and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
The Holy Spirit will have the same NAME as Jesus Christ existing in His post-resurrection state.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things,
and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you.
That doesn't leave any further revelation: to see it, says Peter, repudiates the work of Jesus Christ:
2Pet. 1:3 According as his divine power
hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Rom. 12:2 And be not conformed to this world:Luke Said:
but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Luke 1:76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest:Peter left a memory of his eye- and ear-witness of the risen Jesus Christ. He outlawed private interpretation or "further expounding" because this would repudiate the Work for which Jesus died.
for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
Luke 1:77 To give knowledge of salvation
unto his people by the remission of their sins,
Luke 1:78 Through the tender mercy of our God;
whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
Luke 1:79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
To guide our feet into the way of peace.
2Pet. 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy;
whereunto ye do well that ye take heed,
as unto a light that shineth in a dark place,
until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Plut. Num. 14 After Numa had thus established and regulated the priestly orders, he built, near the temple of Vesta, the so-called Regia, or royal house. Here he passed most of his time, performing sacred functions, or teaching the priests, or engaged in the quiet contemplation of divine things.The Church has only the revealed Word of God in Christ both for our edification and edification and to fight off the evil people who claim that "a" spirit is guiding them into Evil:

In Acts 2:38 those who had been TAUGHT had to do something TO BE SAVED.MANY (most) are CALLED but few are CHOSEN which means "Tested as by fire." Only the few, rare isolated people are remotely INTERESTED: that is why the command was to GO and make disciples and disregard those who will not accept the CODE MESSAGE.

The purpose is to MAKE DISCIPLES: A Disciple is a Student: you cannot be taught by the Word until you have enlisted in The School of Christ where the only worship word is to GIVE HEED TO THE WORD.
PAUL WAS LED INTO THE SAME TRUTH AS PETER BY BOTH SEEING CHRIST THE SPIRIT AND HEARING HIS VOICE.
Christ's makes OUR spirits holy or sanctified only at baptism: when OUR spirit becomes A HOLY SPIRIT then we have been inducted into Discipleship to Jesus Christ alone: that is why the elders are commanded to teach that which HAS been taught.

I will, therefore, describe the ancient system of education, how it was ordered,
when I flourished in the advocacy of justice, and temperance was the fashion.
In the first place it was incumbent
that no one should hear the voice of a boy uttering a syllable;
and next, that those from the same quarter of the town
should march in good order through the streets to the school of the harp-master,
naked, and in a body, even if it were to snow as thick as meal.
Then again, their master would teach them, not sitting cross-legged, to learn by rote a song, either “pallada persepolin deinan” or “teleporon ti boama” raising to a higher pitch the harmony which our fathers transmitted to us.
But if any of them were to play the buffoon, or to turn any quavers, like these difficult turns the present artists make after the manner of Phrynis, he used to be thrashed, being beaten with many blows, as banishing the Muses.
And it behooved the boys, while sitting in the school of the Gymnastic-master, to cover the thigh, so that they might exhibit nothing indecent to those outside; then again, after rising from the ground, to sweep the sand together, and to take care not to leave an impression of the person for their lovers. And no boy used in those days to anoint himself below the navel; so that their bodies wore the appearance of blooming health.
Nor used he to go to his lover, having made up his voice in an effeminate tone,
prostituting himself with his eyes.
Nor used it to be allowed when one was dining to take the head of the radish,
or to snatch from their seniors dill or parsley, or to eat fish, or to giggle, or to keep the legs crossed.

This is...understood by every attentive reader. The original phrase is hagiasmos pneumatos, and is found only in II. Thess. ii. 13; I. Pet. i. 2. In both places it appears to refer to the sanctification of the spirit of believers. It is literally rendered "sanctification [or holiness] of spirit." There is no article in the original and no epithet that suggests the Holy Spirit in either passage.Sorry bout that: there is only ONE God Incarnate and you cannot have the MIND or SPIRIT of Christ without the WORDS He inspired to furnish us completely. Peter in 2 Peter 1 left a "memory" and said that it is not subject to private interpretation or further expounding: to further expound it is the RESULT of people who think "a" spirit lives INSIDE of their carnal body.
God has chosen men to salvation through (or by) holiness of spirit;
not through the holiness of HIS Spirit,
but through the holiness of their spirit.
When Jesus prayed (John xvii.) for the sanctification or holiness of his disciples,
it was through the truth:
"Sanctify them through the truth; thy word is truth." (and Spirit Jn 6:63)
The belief of the truth is, therefore, by Paul associated with this holiness or sanctification of spirit.
The Spirit of God is frequently denominated in these days, "the Sanctifier."
Let it be granted that it is the Spirit that sanctifies or sets apart men to God,
still it must be argued from the Record that he sanctifies them
only through the truth or gospel believed.
A sanctified unbeliever is inconceivable;
and, as "without holiness [or sanctification of spirit] no man can see the Lord;
so, without faith, there can be no holiness, and no action acceptable to God.
All persons sanctified to God to any high office or function, were anointed, and thus consecrated to his special service. So all Christians, being priests,
are anointed or sanctified by the Holy Spirit
[135] through the obedience of the truth,
and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus,
cleansing THEIR consciences from dead works to serve the living God.
The Restoration Movement was built on the Biblical and historic teaching that God the Father prepared Jesus of Nazareth to fulfill the prophecies made by the Spirit OF Christ in the prophets. Therefore, over and over the RESOURCES needed to conform us to the image of Christ is the PROPHETS and APOSTLES.
And that baptism was our request for A good conscience or A holy spirit: because this is the ONLY Temple God as Father-Son abides in, we must be sanctified in OUR spirit so that God will meet us there to accept our worship. Worship IN THE SPIRIT is contrasted to worship IN THE FLESH, in houses or the works of human hands.
The result was a Church where all of its members met to be DISCIPLES of Christ to hear and discuss what Jesus COMMANDED to be taught: that is spelled CENI.
Men have Attempted to destroy that Restoration by first believing that a person named The Holy Spirit" literally lived in their carnal bodies with NOTHING to do. Now, we are post-Christ and post-Christian by men who believe that what comes out of their own imagination IS a commande of some kind of spirit.
We receive the gift of OUR unholy spirit being made HOLY only by request where BAPTISM SAVES US. We should shun them rather than honor them.
On Experimental Religion.--No. II. Walter Scott
http://www.piney.com/RMWSExperRel.html
IN my last paper it was observed that a knowledge of general christianity, the primitive churches, the apostles, and even of Christ himself, as written of in the New Testament, was of too popular, too remote a nature to consummate personal happiness; and that while those high matters concerned mankind universally, our individual comfort terminated ultimately upon a knowledge of ourselves, viz. whether we were or were not personally possessed of those graces of faith in Christ, hope of eternal life, love of God and man; and the gift of A holy spirit, which, as was observed, go to define the unsound phrase "experimental religion."Another Bible example to show that obedience in baptism promises us
Of the four particular evidences of personal adoption, viz. faith, hope, love and A holy spirit, I shall select the last for the subject of this essay--the gift of A holy spirit.
Well, then, by way of premises, let it be observed that the visible universe, the law of Moses, and the gospel are to be regarded as so many oracles by Jesus Christ concerning the divine character, which it is his high office to reveal.
These oracles set the divinity in the several attitudes of creating, commanding, redeeming; consequently in the universe we behold his physical grandeur--in the law we hear his moral authority--in the gospel we perceive him sympathizing. "Jesus wept."
The universe, then, is God manifest in works--the law is God manifest in words--the gospel is God manifest in flesh;
Again--Some will say, What does the expression Holy Spirit mean? Well, in scripture
it stands first for God the Holy Spirit,
and secondly for the holy mind or spirit of a believer--
for illustration, take Peter's words to Ananias,
"Why has Satan tempted you to lie to the Holy Spirit;
you have not lied to men, but to God," (the Holy Spirit.)
And the Saviour says, How much more will your heavenly Father give A holy spirit (as it should be translated) to those that ask him. Again--Praying in A holy spirit.
Again--Paul says he approved himself God's servant "by knowledge, by long sufferings, by kindness, by A holy spirit'"
i. e. by a mind innocent of the love of gain, or commerce, or sensuality.
When do we know that we are born of the Spirit?
I answer, when we know that our spirits are holy.
But it will be asked again, when do we know this?
I reply, when we behold our minds producing the fruits of A holy spirit.
But what are the fruits of A holy spirit? Paul says they are joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, fidelity, meekness, temperance, against such there is no (written) law.
The remission of sins from OUR spirit.
That sanctifies us or gives us A holy spirit.
If this is true, then those who claim the indwelling of a Spirit "person"
who tells them to deliberately sow discord cannot have any hope in this world or the world to come.
In fact, Christ the Spirit in Jeremiah identifies speaking when God has not spoken is blasphemy. Watch out for people who use the SILENCE of God as a way to IMPOSE a law on you.

Phaedrus 250d as I said before, shone in brilliance among those visions; and since we came to earth we have found it shining most clearly through the clearest of our senses; for sight is the sharpest of the physical senses, though wisdom is not seen by it, for wisdom would arouse terrible love, if such a clear image of it were granted as would come through sight, and the same is true of the other lovely realities; but beauty alone has this privilege, and therefore it is most clearly seen
Acts 4.13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus.
Eph. 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,FIRST PETER THREE

Eph. 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,

Eph. 3:21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen
Pe.3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he
............ might bring us to God,
............ being put to death in the flesh,
............ but quickened by the Spirit:Heb 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified
............ through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.The CHRIST OF GOD is the Righteousness, Spirit, Word or any manifestation in the flesh. Jesus was "a body prepared for me" or God to dwell in. This is no different than all of the LORD manifestations of God as Word, Rock, Water, Manna and all of the hyphenated terms for God.
The SPIRIT GOD Who incarnated the MAN Jesus of Nazareth did not die and cannot die. Therefore, when we speak of "The church of God WHO shed His blood" it is important to know that God does not have blood. And the CHRIST OF God does not die. Therefore, that which DIED was Jesus of Nazareth as the SON of God. I don't know in what sense God experienced the woes of mankind.
The SPIRIT Which dwelled in Jesus had the power to LAY DOWN His life and TAKE UP His life. That is what the CHRIST OF GOD did.
WHILE Jesus of Nazareth was in the Tomb, the Spirit of Christ Which is the Spirit OF God was somewhere else.
BAPTISM SAVES BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE WE REQUEST A GOOD CONSCIENCE.1 Pet. 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
1 Pet. 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient,
............ when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah,
............ while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is,
............ eight souls were saved by water.
1 Pet. 3:21 The like figure whereunto
............ even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh,
............ but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Chris
Answer ALWAYS means REQUEST. A person who REQUESTS salvation at baptism DOES NOT demand it as a WAGEA holy spirit. for works performed OF WHICH they can boast. Therefore, to accuse CHRIST OBEYERS as legalistic is the MARK of a false teacher who DOES NOT have
Eperotema (g1906) ep-er-o'-tay-mah; from 1905; an inquiry: - answer.
Eperotao (g1905) ep-er-o-tah'-o; from 1909 and 2065; to ask for, i.e. inquire, seek: - ask (after, questions),

CHRIST IN SPIRIT GIVES US A HOLY SPIRIT WHEN WE ARE BAPTIZED IN HIS NAME.
A holy spirit is the same as A good conscience, consciousness meaning a co perception: Jesus said that truth had been hidden in parables from the foundation of the world. In order to understand the mysteries hiding in clear BLACK TEXT on BROWN Paper says Paul in 2 Corinthians 3 we must be converted or baptized into Christ before He will accept us as a Disciple.
2Cor. 3:13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face,
that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
2Cor. 3:14 But their minds were blinded:
for until this day remaineth
the same vail untaken away
in the reading of the old testament;
which vail is done away in Christ.
2Cor. 3:15 But even unto this day,
when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
2Cor. 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, [Baptism]
the vail shall be taken away. [The Gift of the Holy Spirit]
Jesus used the example of being CONVERTED and BORN AGAIN like a childPeople who cannot grasp that the NAME of the Holy Spirit Comforter is Jesus Chrisit the Righteous (1 John 2) who lives in His post-resurrection body and still rules His kingdom, the Church of Christ.
Luke recorded the example of BAPTISM to be SAVED and CONVERTED meaning the same thing.
Until you are CONVERTED you will not be able to read WHOLE THOUGHT PATTERNS written in BLACK INK on WHITE paper.

Augustine defined this ONE GOD the Father in heaven and ONE SON Jesus of Nazareth whom God made to be both Lord and Christ.
1. I Believe in God the Father Almighty. Chs. 2 and 3.
