The world was filled with "lords and gods" but for Disciples of Christ there is ONE GOD and ONE LORD Who is the only mediator, intercessor, comforter and HEAD of His Church until He returns in the flesh.

1Tim. 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
1Tim. 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1Tim. 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
1Tim. 2:7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;)
        a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

GOD DEFINED THE WAY TO RECOGNIZE THE ONE GOD RECORDED IN HOLY SCRIPTURE.

I AM does not mean GOD but  g1961. הָיָה hayah, haw-yaw; a primitive root (compare 1933); to exist,

God EXISTS because HE EXISTS: His NAME is YHWH-

Ex. 3:13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
Ex. 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
Ex. 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,
        The LORD GOD of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob,
        hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
Ex. 3:13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them,
        The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you;
        and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
Ex. 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said,
        Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
Ex. 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses,
        I AM: Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,
        The LORD GOD of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob,
        hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

        3069. יְהוִֹה Yhwh; a variation of 3068 (used after 136, and pronounced as 430, in order to prevent the repetition of the same sound, since elsewhere 3068 is pronounced as 136):—God.

Zech. 3:3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
Zech. 3:4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
Zech. 3:5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.

Zech. 6:11 Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;

        then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself;
        but as my Father hath TAUGHT me, I SPAKE these things.

When Jesus says I am, it is an incomplete sentence; He told the Jews, "You blaspheme: I always told you that I am the Son of God.'

SPIRIT means here: God puts His WORDS into.the MOUTH of Moses without any help. The WORDS define God's nature, his power and His knowledge.

OF does not make the SPIRIT OF the Lord another god, now almost universally, one who CONTINUES after Jesus sat down on a throne. The only Spirit promised to the apostles is Jesus glorified and the HEAD and only Teacher of His BODY when Disciples--automatically--continue in the WORDS of Jesus.  Jesus made God as Spirit and Word both visually and audible.  Preachers or Elders also make God as WORD audible.

WHAT JESUS IN JOHN 10 CALLED BLASPHEMY:
H. leo Boles invented the blasphemy in 1938 at Freed Hardeman when I was 8 years old  It was put into print in 1942 and is still the liberal LU version

The Father's fullness of deity is absolutely dependent (subservient, reliant) upon the Son's DEITY and the deity of the Holy Spirit; their dependence upon the Father for the derivation (origin, beginning, source) of their deity is no greater than the Father's dependence  (subordination, need of, subservience) on their dependence. In a brief article on the Trinity by Gordon H. Clark, he makes a surprising claim about a popular trinitarian hymn:

The hymn book of one denomination has rewritten "Holy, Holy, Holy," so as to exclude all reference to "God in Three Persons, Blessed Trinity."

The hymn book of one denomination has rewritten "Holy, Holy, Holy," so as to exclude all reference to

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee;
Holy, holy, holy! merciful and mighty,
God in three persons, blessed Trinity!

And this article was written in 1954, so the hymnal must have been published before then, but probably not long before.

NOTED IN THIS ARTICLE; Which denomination and hymnal is Clark likely referring to? As a member of the Church of Christ I was once in a congregation which used a hymnal in which the lyric "God in three persons, blessed Trinity" had been changed to "God over all, and blessed eternally"

IF "A" HOLY SPIRIT HAS COME TO YOUR CHURCH AS ALL PROGRESSIVES BOAST, IT IS

John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
John 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now

Candles [Catholic Encyclopedia]  We need not shrink from admitting that candles, like incense and lustral water, were commonly employed in pagan worship and in the rites paid to the dead. But the Church from a very early period took them into her service, just as she adopted many other things indifferent in themselves, which seemed proper to enhance the splendour of religious ceremonial. We must not forget that most of these adjuncts to worship, like music, lights, perfumes, ablutions, floral decorations, canopies, fans, screens, bells, vestments, etc.
        were not identified with any
idolatrous cult in particular;
        they were common to almost all cults.
