ARISTOTLE SAYS THAT THEOLOGIANS DENY THAT GOD WAS
COMPETENT.
Aristot. Poet. 1458a
[8]
The poets, as was natural, were the first to give an impulse
to style; for words are imitations, and the voice
also, which of all our parts is best adapted for imitation,
was ready to hand;
thus
the arts of the rhapsodists, actors, and others, were
fashioned.
[9] And as the poets, although
their utterances were devoid of SENSE,
appeared to have gained
their reputation through their style,
it was a poetical style
that first came into being, as that of Gorgias.
Even now the majority of the uneducated think that
such persons express themselves most beautifully,
whereas this is not
the case,
for the other kind of style, it has already been treated in
the Poetics.

The WORLD or KOSMOS is the

BY QUOTING SCRIPTURE I WILL SHOW THAT ALL OF THE
"WE-WHICH-REPLACES-WORD" HAVE NEVER READ THE PROOF TEXTS
BEYOND WRITING A BOOK OR GETTING ON THE "LECTURE CIRCUIT."
SCRIPTURE AND ALL FOUNDERS OF RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS CLAIM
TO BE "APOSTOLIC." That means the perfected work of
the Apostles who were eye-- and ear-- witnesses of Jesus.
SPIRIT means that Jesus SPOKE only what the FATHER breathed
into Him. An Assembly of Christ--will by a MARK--build
upon or educated by READING the Apostles and Prophets.
Michael Casey proposes Story form is more compatible
with scripture, for the most part, than CONSTITUTION,
and more palatable to an
age that DENIGRATES
authoritarianism.
"In my opinion, the current discussion of
biblical interpretation within Churches of Christ is more an
issue of paradigm than of particular hermeneutical
strategies." (Jack Reese, CSC 1990, p. 2). "The
'new hermeneutic,' as I have argued elsewhere, is basically a
paradigm shift in our driving force" (Thomas
Olbricht, CSC 1990, p. 2).
"Virtually everything we have ever divided
over has been external. Just list them and look:
located preachers, orphan homes, missionary societies, Bible
classes, communion cups, kitchens, translations, instruments
of music, buildings and their proper use, evangelistic
methods, and a host of others things - most of which are
external."
Tom
Olbricht is on the right track The CIE
method no longer makes sense
BECAUSE WE no longer believe its aim is
central to the Christian faith.
It no longer answers OUR
pressing questions concerning meaning, love, relationships,
PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE of
God, inspiration for daily living. Orthodoxy (right
opinion) is giving place to Orthocardia (a good heart), to
coin a word.
I think, however, that we must observe that
the older hermeneutic was less interested in ascertaining
what the text meant, than in determining authorized
patterns for the twentieth century church. --I think
Allan is correct -- that we are not so much in a hermeneutic
as in a theological method or authority crisis.
(Thomas Olbricht, CSC. 1989, p.8)
"The command-example-necessary inference
hermeneutic focuses on the rules (that is, rules of logic),
and the results, rather than on the actions of God. It
gets the cart before the horse. We are committed to the
book of God, but not for its own sake, but to the God of the
book." (Thomas Olbricht, CSC. 1989 pp. 11-12).
Possibly the most widely accepted view among
certain FRONT RUNNER in Dallas, Fort Worth, Abilene,
Nashville, San Antonio, and Searcy
is that the scripture is
not constitution or code book, as envisioned by the old
hermeneutic,
but is a lover letter
from God." (Thomas Olbricht, CSC. 1989, p.6)
James Woodroof
stated regarding the Jews: "They had become enamored by the WRITTEN WORD but oblivious to
the LIVING Word." (James S. Woodroof, The Church In
Transition, p. 29).
But that was Paul's very point. It was
in regard to issue over which people differed that the
Christians in Rome were called on to exercise tolerance and
maintain unity." (James S. Woodroof, The Church in
Transition, p. 138).
Much division in the Restoration movement has resulted from
interpretative disagreements regarding the exhaustive blueprint
and attendant prohibitive role of silence. Perhaps our
history of fragmentation suggests that the patter concept of
Scripture may not be consonant with the New Testament
itself. (Woody Woodrow, CSC. 1984, p.7)
The fact that many now regard the matter of silence as being
permissive rather than prohibitive is well illustrated in the 29
page poem included the the book The Church In Transition
"A Dream Of Judgment": A Poem Concerning Those Who Make
Laws Based On Inferences From The Silence Of Scripture, by John
Carrol Brown. (pp. 181-210).
- At the FHU Church Leaders forum, the participants in favor
of Instrumental Music being in the realm of opinion indicated
that whenever a person participated in something which God had
not explicitly authorized and were condemned of God for doing
it, it was because they had a bad heart or were
insincere. There are specific Scriptures which address
this (Deut. 4:2; Proverbs 30:6; II John 9-11; Revelation
22:18-19). Yet there is also a specific example.
David wanted to build the Lord a House. The Lord's reply
to David was: "In all the places wherein I have walked
with all the children of Israel spake I a word with any of the
tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to feed by people Israel,
saying, Why build ye not me an house of cedar?" (II Sam.
7:7). David's heart was right and he was certainly
sincere, but the Lord said "not without My permission, wait
until you are asked!"
A Christian is a Disciple is a STUDENT of the WORD of
Christ. The Word or Logos is God's Regulative
principle. Because God is God and Olbricht etal are not,
it is impossible to love God and despise His Word. Whether
Scripture is good enough for theologians or not, it is
terminally dishonest to make merchandise of the word and try to
convince others that your PATTERN is better than Gods.
SPIRIT is figurative or a PARABLE because Jesus said that God
hides from the wise or Sophists: performance preaching, singing,
playing instruments or acting. That is because they
cripple the one-piece pattern for DISCIPLES which is to READ or
SPEAK the Word. They do not and can never accept the
PATTERN of God which is:

The reality is that they do not want a hermeneutic at
all. They want to do what they please, as they please,
with little or no restrictions from God’s Word. It
reminds this speaker of Psalm 2:1-3.
Michael Casey: “I want to propose a ‘new

Paul Roberts: “One of the major questions, or
major approaches that is so common in our fellowship or our
particular group is a perspective of looking at the
Scriptures. Is our pattern or our plan of biblical
exegesis –
how do we know what
the Bible really says to do when you go to the Bible?
Do we have a little pattern or a little form? It is
called – well, we know it by three ways:
by command, by
example, by necessary inference.
If it commands, you do it. If you find an example of
it in the Scriptures, then that’s binding upon you.
If it’s necessarily inferred by Scripture, then that’s
biding upon you.
At least that’s been
the perspective of the Churches of Christ for about a
century or more.
And, I think that’s
one of the reasons why we are so divided today”

Westwood Church of Christ, march, 5, 1989).

To believe that the
"audience" must have a Scholar-Mediator to stand between it
and the Mind or Spirit of Christ is a denial of the power God
put into His words which He said "are Spirit and Life" (John
6:63)
Campbell
continues: "The author and ultimate object of our holy religion, is the God
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, by his Spirit, speaking in Christ and his holy apostles.
"The principle of this
holy religion within
us, is
faith, a correspondent faith; that is, a belief, or
inwrought persuasion by, and according to, the word of truth,
in all points
corresponding to the revelation which God has made
of himself through Jesus Christ
by the Spirit. Hence, being rooted and grounded in the truth of this revelation, by faith in the divine
testimony,
we contemplate and worship God inwardly;
that is, adore and reverence him in our souls, according to the characters
and attributes under which he has revealed himself to
us.
Thus we worship the
Father, through the Son, by the Spirit, relying upon his teachings in and by the word, to lead us into all the truth
which he has testified for our edification and salvation;
and also upon his internal influence to excite, instruct, and
comfort us, by the truth; to help our infirmities, and to
enable us to think and pray as we ought, both as to the
matter and manner of our prayers. See Rom. viii. 26, and Jude 22, 21, with a multitude of
other scriptures.
Thus we have the internal religion, the habitual worship of the real
believer, the sincere bible-taught christian with its
principle; which is the faith above described. See Rom. x. 12-15.

HYPOKRITES, HISTRO, ACTOR
It is shown in the articles Chorus
and Dionysia
that the Greek drama originated in the chorus which at the
festivals of Dionysus danced around his altar, and that at
first one person detached himself from the chorus and, with
mimetic gestures, related his story either to the chorus or
in conversation with it. If the story thus acted required
more than one person, they were all represented in
succession by the same choreutes.
1
Before the chorus began (or in pauses between their songs)
the leader of the performance would improvise some appropriate
tale or state the theme which they were to
elaborate. Thus he was called ho
exarkhōn
or "the starter," and became in time the first "actor."

A Satyr play [The BEAST added to the musician]was an
interlude performed by a troupe of actors dressed as the

John Locke
But since men are so
solicitous about the true church, I would only ask them here,
by the way, if it be not more agreeable to the Church of Christ
to make the conditions of
her communion consist in such things, and
such things only,
as the Holy
Spirit has in the Holy Scriptures declared, in express words, to be necessary to salvation;
I ask, I say, whether this
be not more agreeable to the Church
of Christst
than for men to impose their own inventions and interpretations upon others as if they were of Divine
authority,
and to establish by
ecclesiastical laws, as absolutely necessary to the profession
of Christianity, such
things as the Holy Scriptures do either not mention, or at
least not expressly command?
Whosoever requires those
things in
order to ecclesiastical communion, which Christ does not require
in order to life eternal, he may, perhaps, indeed constitute
a society accommodated to his own opinion and his own advantage;
but how that can be
called the Church
of Christ
which is established upon laws that are not His, and which excludes such persons from
its communion as He will one day receive into the
Kingdom of Heaven, I understand not.
Schism, then, for the same reasons that
have already been alleged,
is nothing else
but a separation made in the communion of the Church
upon account of something
in divine worship or ecclesiastical discipline that is not any necessary part of it.
Now, nothing in worship or discipline can be necessary to Christian communion
(unity) but
what Christ our legislator, or the Apostles by inspiration
of the Holy Spirit, have commanded in express words
John Locke, born 1632, defines heresy and schsm
http://www.piney.com/LockeHerSch.html
The Papists and Lutherans, though
both of them profess faith in Christ and are therefore called
Christians,
yet are not both of the same religion, because
these acknowledge nothing
but the Holy Scriptures to be the rule and foundation of their
religion,
those take in also traditions
and the decrees of Popes
and of
these together make the rule of their religion;
and thus the Christians of St. John (as they are called) and the
Christians of Geneva
are of different religions,
because
these also take only the Scriptures, and
those I know not what traditions, for the rule of their
religion.
This being settled, it follows,
first, that heresy is a separation
made in ecclesiastical communion
between men of the
same religion
for some opinions no
way contained in the rule itself;
and,
secondly, that amongst those
who acknowledge nothing but the Holy Scriptures to be their rule
of faith,
heresy is a separation made in their
Christian communion
for
opinions not contained in the express words of Scripture.

Tom Olbricht confesses that he gained his New

necessary inference that it, like religious music, "Makes the
lambs dumb before the slaughter." However, he is not aware
of historic scholarship which debunks his and the entire
tribulation period twisting of the Declaration and
Address.

"In the world of ideas,

More Neo-Pagan Parallels
Bible professors at some schools claim that they are part of a
"Scholarship Movement," began calling for a New Hermeneutic in the
late 1980s. This was exactly 100 years after the
infiltrated Disciples-Christian church professors began to deny
the Biblical and historically affirmed Word, Logos or Regulative
Principle: this outlawed rhetoric, personal opinions, personal
experiences, singing, playing instruments or acting. These were
all known to hinder the one-piece pattern of the Church of Christ
(the Rock) clearly defined in the wilderness.
My memory began in the late 1960s with Thomas H.
Olbricht, Restoration Quarterly, and Mission Journal. "
Much of the writers parroted the earlier works of Olbricht
(Bible professor at Pepperdine University), and the more recent
works of C. Leonard Allen (Bible professor at Abilene
Christian University). According to the so called "Scholarship
Movement," our current hermeneutic (the "Old Hermeneutic" of
command, example, and necessary inference) must be abandoned and
replaced with a NH because they claim our current hermeneutic is
a manmade tradition taken from the 19th century. The NH
advocates have not reached a consensus as to what the NH ought
to be, but they are all in agreement that the "Old Hermeneutic"
must go. "Out with the old and in with the new" is the cry of
the NH.
SHADY AND HERMES-LIKE NEW HERME-NEUTS Homer on
Hermes
Hermes: Born with the dawning, at mid-day he played
on the lyre, and in
the evening he stole the cattle of far-shooting Apollo on the
fourth day of the month; for on that day queenly Maia bare
him. When
Zeus
had an affair with Mnemosyne, he coupled with her for nine consecutive
nights, which produced nine
daughters, who became known
as the Muses.
They entertained their
father and the other gods as a celestial choir on
Mount Olympus.
They became deities of intellectual pursuits. Also the three Charites or Graces were born from Zeus and Eurynome. From all his children Zeus gave man all he
needed to live life in an ordered and moral way.
Hermes, the herald of the Olympian gods, is son of Zeus
and the nymph Maia, daughter of Atlas and one of the Pleiades.
Hermes is also the god of
shepherds, land travel, merchants, weights and measures, oratory, literature, athletics and
thieves,
and known for his
cunning and shrewdness.
He was also a minor patron of poetry.
He was worshiped throughout Greece especially in
Arcadia.
Festivals in honor of Hermes were called Hermoea.
Originally Hermes was a phallic
god, being attached to
fertility and good fortune, and also a patron of roads and
boundaries. His name coming from herma, the plural being
hermaiherm was a square or rectangular pillar in
either stone or bronze, with the head of Hermes
(usually with a beard), which adorned the top of the
pillar, and male genitals near to the base of the pillar.
The offspring of Hermes
are believed to be Pan, Abderus
and Hermaphroditus. Hermes as with the other gods had
numerous affairs with goddesses, nymphs and mortals. In some legends even
sheep and goats. Pan, the half man half goat, is believed to be
the son of Hermes and Dryope,
And when the purpose of
great Zeus was fixed in heaven, she was delivered and a
notable thing was come to pass.
For then she bare a son,
of many shifts, blandly cunning, a robber, a cattle driver, a bringer of dreams, a watcher by night, a thief at
the gates, one who was soon to show forth wonderful
deeds among the deathless gods.
Born with the dawning, at
mid-day he played on the lyre, and in
the evening he stole the cattle of far-shooting Apollo on the
fourth day of the month; for on that day queenly Maia bare
him.
Hermes (The Greek Jubal) invented the Lyre and it became
the instrument of Apollon-Abaddon. He was the Spirit of and Leader
of his Musical Worship Team. They were known as adulteresses which
the Greeks applied to speakers, singers, instrument player or
anyone who sold their persona.

Jude warning about the PATTERN of the
instrumental-trinitarian female led idolatry at Mount Sinai for
which there was no redemption:
Jude 3 Beloved, when I gave all
diligence to write unto you of the common salvation,
[unity established within the Little Flock
almost invisible and certainly inaudible when in God's
presence.]
it was needful for me to
write unto you, and exhort you
that ye should
earnestly contend for the faith [The
Word, Logos, Regulative Principle]
which was once
delivered unto the saints.
Jude 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares,
who were before of old ordained
to this condemnation,
ungodly men, turning the
grace of our God into lasciviousness,
and denying the only Lord
God, AND our Lord Jesus Christ.
[Meaning trinitarians
claiming that BREATH is a PEOPLE]
Jude 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance,
though ye once knew this,
how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the
land of Egypt,
afterward destroyed them
that believed not.
Jude 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate,
but left their own
habitation,
he hath reserved in
everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great
day.
Jude 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the
cities about them in like manner,
giving themselves over to
fornication,
and going after
strange flesh, are set forth for an example,
suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Amos 5:26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch
and Chiun your images,

god, which ye made to yourselves.

Acts 7:42 Then God turned,
and gave them up to
worship the HOST of heaven;
as it is written in the
book of the prophets,
O ye house of
Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and
sacrifices
by the space of forty
years in the wilderness?
Amos 5:27 Therefore will I cause you to go into
captivity
beyond Damascus,
saith the LORD, whose name
is The God of hosts.
Acts
7:43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch,
and the star of
your god Remphan,
figures which ye
made to worship them:
and
I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
The
Spirit OF CHRIST IN ISAIAH 30
Must ye always rejoice, and go into my holy places continually, as
they that keep
a feast? and
must ye go with a pipe, as those that rejoice into the mountain of
the Lord, to the God of Israel Isaiah 30:29 LXX
and the Lord shall make
his glorious
voice to be heard and the wrath of his arm, to make a display with wrath and anger and devouring flame: he shall lighten terribly, and his wrath shall be as water and violent hail. Isaiah 30:30 LXX
For by the voice of the
Lord the Assyrians shall be overcome, even by the stroke where with he shall smite
them. Isaiah 30:31 LXX
And it shall happen to him
from every side, that they from whom their hope of
assistance was, in which he trusted, themselves shall war against him in turn with drums and with harp. Isaiah 30:32 LXX
For thou shalt be required
before thy time: has it been prepared
for thee also to reign? nay, God has prepared for thee a deep trench, wood piled fire and much wood: the wrath of the Lord shall be as a trench kindled with sulphur. Isaiah 30:33 LXX
From the Golden Calf: The Canaanites were under Assyro-Babylonian
dominance from 3000 to 1700 BCE. Even by circa 1400 BCE, their
influence was still so great that all correspondence with Egypt
and the Pharaoh was conducted in Babylonian, and the name of the
moon-god Sin formed the basis for the Canaanite
names Sinai and the wilderness of Sin (ERE, Vol.
3, p. 183). The hand of Sin was seen in the cause of Catatonia
or madness in children - hence, lunacy is associated

Ba. 161 [145] The Bacchic one, raising the flaming
torch of pine on his thyrsos [Shaken Reed] , like the smoke of
Syrian incense, darts about, arousing the wanderers with
his racing and dancing, agitating them with his shouts,
[150] casting his rich locks into the air. And among the Maenad
cries his voice rings deep:
“Go, Bacchae, go, Bacchae,
with the luxury of Tmolus that flows with gold, [155] sing of
Dionysus, beneath the heavy beat of drums, celebrating
in delight the god of delight with Phrygian shouts and
cries, [160] when the sweet-sounding sacred pipe sounds
a sacred playful tune suited [165] to the wanderers, to the
mountain, to the mountain!” And the Bacchante, rejoicing like a
foal with its grazing mother, rouses her swift foot in a
gamboling dance.
Is. 66:3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that
sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that
offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that
burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen
their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
Isaiah 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will
bring their fears upon them;
because when I called,
none did answer;
when I spake, they did
not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes,
and chose that in which
I delighted not.
