Faith Only is not a Biblical Concept: Faith must have
an object. All who are justified by faith obeyed God's believed
commandment. What counts or justifies is "faith working through
love." Romans chapter 10 ends with:
For ye have need of
patience, that, after ye have done
the will of
God, ye might
receive the
promise. Hebrews 10:36
For yet a little while, and he
that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Hebrews 10:37
Now the just shall
live by faith:

is the substance of things hoped

Faith is not simple belief:
faith is the total assurance which one can only possibly have when
they have done that which simple belief demands. If I say, "get in
out of the rain and you will be dry" you might believe IN ME. Or, you
might believe that is the way to STAY DRY. However, if you don't get
in out of the rain you have not CONFIDENCE that you are DRY.
Confidence is what we REST upon
or rely upon when we do what God asks us to do:

Seeking God through His Word
is the primary meaning of "worship."
Seek: Ekzeteo
(g1567) ek-zay-teh'-o; from 1537 and 2212; to search out, i.e. (fig.) investigate, crave,
demand, (by Hebr.) worship: - en- (re-) quire, seek after (carefully, diligently).
There is none that
understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. Ro.3:11
Here is how God made
provision:
For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17

How does one reject the
counsel of God?

Still cannot grasp that the word
RIGHTEOUSNESS and REGENERATION or SALVATION are in the Bible because
they have DIFFERENT MEANING.
God didn't predestinate us to heaven or
hell. He didn't even "predestinate us." That is AN untruth because it
has no object:

None of these heros of the
faith every RESTED or had faith in their actions. However, the fact
that when God commanded, they acted by faith in God that what He TOLD
them to do was right.
If they had not ACTED then
there would have been no
prior CONFIDENCE and
certainly no
confidence as a result
of their FAILURE to be a DOER of
the Word.
The Faith Only dogma of
misunderstood Zwinglism simply has to explain away every statement
which does not rest on THEIR OWN faith given to them because God picked them for
salvation from all eternity. Like Mormonism, it is 1500 years too
late to be of Christ.,
