Holy Spirit - Jesus Christ -Another Comforter
The Mind or Spirit of a person or Being dwells in the Head. By looking for a direct operational Spirit it is easy to deny that Christ as God was manifest in the flesh and justified in the Spirit. He is the Triune God acknowledged before Neo-trinitarianism which sees three separate persons or members of the "god clan."
In the beginning or at His highest existence, God existed in nature in some way demonstrated by His creation of mankind in His own image.
That is, God was Thought, Word and Breath or Spirit. Jesus of Nazareth was a human "body prepared for me" Hebrews 10:5. This is the very common way the theologians who used "trinity" understood the ONE God. He is never represented as THEY and they never see one of the "personae" separated from the Godhead into another BEING.
We see a "picture" of God laying aside His garments of Majesty and Holiness and becoming visible in the bodyy of Jesus. This is the CHRIST of God even as God sends Himself as His Arm, as Water, as the Manna and many other forms.
1Co.1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
However, when made visible to us He does not cease being God but we simply could not see Him "clothed" with Hid Divinity:
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Philippians 2:5KJV
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, Philippians 2:6NIV
Or: who, though he was God, did not demand and cling to his rights as God, Phil 2:6LIV
but laid aside his mighty power and glory, taking the disguise of a slave and becoming like men. Philippians 2:7LIV
The Christ of God is God's HAND or ARM and will return to sit at the RIGHT of the Majesty He laid aside to indwell the man Jesus of Nazareth.
In John, when His earthly ministry as "flesh" was about over, Jesus said that His Father's house would be the place where He would receive our redeemed nature unto Himself.
In my Fathers house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:3 (I Am is not We are)
The human nature of God is the "door" or "gate" into His true nature as Father of the spirits. Jesus did not just give us instructions but we come to His Father nature by identifying with His obedient, subservient Son nature. When we pass through the door we are in the house but the door and the house are not two different things
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. John 14:4
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? John 14:5
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
Jesus does not leave us in doubt about His dual existence as both God and Man. He told Thomas
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. John 14:7
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. John 14:8
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? John 14:9
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. John 14:10
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works sake John 14:11
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12
The Power of Jesus the Holy Spirit is more available because Christ has returned to the power and glory He laid aside to become a human. When Jesus "sat down at the right" we understand that Jesus was restored to His own might (symbolized by the right hand). Remember that "Father" and "Son" are not names. Rather, they define roles. I am both a father and a son.
Jesus had been both Father and Son among His disciples as He led them to "build a family name." When He returned to His glory the Apostles would feel destitute or like orphans who had lost their father. Jesus promised that He would not leave permanently but would be with and in them as Spirit or Mind:
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another (not heteros or different) Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; John 14:16
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. John 14:17
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14:18
THE COMFORTER IS:
Parakletos (g3875) par-ak'-lay-tos; an intercessor, consoler: - advocate, comforter.
The Comforter would bear the name JESUS CHRIST:
Jn.14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
FATHER-SON WOULD SEND THE SPIRIT:
Jn.16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
THEREFORE, HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST:
1Jn.2:1 MY little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
Jesus very clearly said that the another Comforter would be Father-Son as pure or Holy Spirit. However, He said that this was the same Spirit Who presently dwelled with them. After Pentecost this same "another" would dwell in them. From Paul we understand that He would live in the heart, spirit or mind of believers through the Word. Therefore, Jesus Christ is the Comforter Holy Spirit
Paul confirms that the another would be heteros or different but still the same Christ in a different form. The death of Christ meant that the old marriage contract is dead. We simply die to the old, destructive "marriage." Then we are married to another Who will Spirit instead of the first which was flesh or law:
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. Romans 7:4
For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. Romans 7:5
We bring forth fruit or children from the one to whom we are married. We are married to Christ, the fruit is brought forth to God. Therefore, Christ is Lord Jesus Christ or God, Son and Spirit Anointed
The another Who is different is the Spirit Christ Who is the another or a fuller level of life. We are married to "Spirit" which is Christ and Gospel. As such, we bring forth fruit (offspring) from our husband and not from another person of the "god family" who would be different in a human sense. The fruit of the Spirit is the fruit of Christ Who proceeded once again as pure or Holy Spirit:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Galatians 5:22
The Word proceeded from the Father. This was the Jesus Christ as fully God laying aside His own glory and taken on the "body prepared for me." When Jesus Christ was Glorified to sit in heavenly places, He "received the promise" of the Father. He then laid aside any other "form" and proceeded from the Father to serve in pure or Holy Spirit Form:
Remember that the Word was God. He laid aside His Godly privileges and became a human being. When He returned to the Spirit realm He "sat down" beside the glory He laid aside to become a man. As Father-Son He could say: "I will send you from the Father." He did not say, "the Father will send without me."
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. John 14:10
When The Spirit of truth (mental disposition of the mind of Christ) proceeds from the Father this is identical to Jesus' statement that I will send Him to you:
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: John 15:26
And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. John 15:27
Both Father and Son live with and walk among the church. They personally live within the mind or heart. The thing which dwells withour heart is not persons but the mental disposition of persons. In the same way, God, who is pure or Holy Spirit lives within our heart as we believe Him and obey Him.
But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you. John 16:4
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. John 16:7
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: John 16:8
The Holy Spirit would be a "He" because it would be Father-Son filling the whole universe in Spirit form.
Christ Taught the Apostles through His Holy Spirit
As limited man Christ could not be with the church forever. However, in His Spirit form he could go into all the World. The Spirit or Mind to mind revelation would not be by a Spirit as a third god. Rather, the Spirit would be the method by which Christ the Spirit would communicate with certain apostle-prophets:
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. John 16:12
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:13
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. John 16:14
All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. John 16:15
Paul said that the Word is the sword or mouth of the Spirit. Furthermore, in First Corinthians fourteen he commands that we get our mind, our spirit and our words working together. Therefore, when my spirit (wind or breath) speaks for my mind, it does not speak for itself implying that the breath is a living person as the pagans believed.
Just as God the Father or invisible Spirit was Audible through Jesus
Now look again at John 14:10. The words of the Father proceeded out of Jesus Christ Who was full Deity in the flesh. Jesus did not speak of Himself but of and for the entire Godhead:
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. John 14:10
The "Father" was God Who is pure or holy Spirit. He used the mouth of His indwelled body to speak His Words which were "spirit and life."
In the same way, the Spirit (disposition or words) will proceed from Father-Son (Lord-Jesus) because whatever the Father (Sender) has the Son (Sent) has because they are the One God or Full Deity.
In many symbolic passages God blows His breath or Spirit through His lips--double-edged swords--in order to speak to the world. The Spirit in these passages is not a person separated from Christ. Rather, the Spirit is the invisible means of Christ to "breath upon" the Apostles, as He did the prophets (1 Peter 1:11), to inspire or inspirit them with His own Words. In this passage, the Spirit is the Spirit of truth. "He" (Wisdom is a She) cannot speak of himself but, as Christ's own Spirit, will speak His words as His flesh did while God Incarnate.
Because Jesus said that He and the Father were One, whatever can be said of the Father can be said of the Son. Whatever belongs to the Father belongs to His "right hand" or "shoulder" as the power-delivering agency of Spirit Deity.
Because Jesus makes the point over and over, we need to look back to the promise of the Comforter who would come when Jesus said, "I will come to you."
The Promise of the Holy Spirit as Comforter was Jesus Christ to Paul
Next, we will compare this Apostolic commission to that given to Paul when Christ appointed him as an apostle. The same language is used and when the Spirit guided Paul into all truth, it was Jesus Christ in Spirit or invisible form expressed in words. This shows that Jesus Christ is the Comforter Holy Spirit:

The gift of the Holy Spirit was given in Acts 2:38, subsequent to baptism and salvation. All of those who received the gift of the Spirit, received the Spirit or were receiving the Spirit or the Spirit was bestowed. They received power only after the apostles laid their hands upon them and they all spoke with tongues as signs that they were speaking from God.
This gifts was given only to those whom the Lord shall call to prophesy, dream or speak supernaturally to both judge and save.
Gifts of the Holy Spirit were Gifts given BY the Spirit of Christ
Paul never preached baptism for salvation and receiving of the Holy Spirit except among the Ephesian twelve. Others received gifts from the Spirit or gifts from Christ supernaturally as they were needed.
The command of Peter at Pentecost, after Christ was restored to His glory, was to baptize in the singular name of Jesus Christ. Paul was told to deliver the gospel. Those who were converted would receive the forgiveness of sins. In the place of "the gift of the Holy Spirit," they were to be sanctified by faith in Christ Jesus.
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Acts 26:18

Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God. Romans 15:15
to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles with the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the
Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God,
sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:16
We were sanctified in promise based upon the sprinkled blood of Jesus Christ. This was the offering of His fleshly body. After returning to His Spirit Glory, He operates in the Spirit. Therefore, the price was paid by the flesh into which God lived but the actual sanctification takes place through Jesus Christ as Spirit God
When we are sanctified by the Holy Spirit this is the gift of the Holy Spirit because we cannot earn it. However, the sanctification of the Spirit binds us to the sprinkled blood of Jesus Christ who, as flesh, paid the price. As Spirit, He continues to work on our behalf:
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 1 Peter 1:2
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10:10
When Judah was sent out from Jerusalem, the glory of God or the "off-flash" moved above and left the temple. It never returned. Therefore, to find the glory we have to follow Christ, Who is Spirit, outside the gates:
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Hebrews 13:12
Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. Hebrews 13:13
For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. Hebrews 13:14
As Paul was guided into all truth it was not through someone separated from Christ Who was the Logos or the only Revealer of the Mind or Spirit of God:
For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Galatians1:12
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20
Christ Was the Spirit Being Who Appeared to Paul
We have compared the Great Commission to the first Apostles and then to Paul we see that the Comforter was Jesus Christ in Spirit form. It was Jesus Christ Who would remind Paul of what He had seen and guide Him into truth as it was needed.
There is more to be learned from this example about the nature of Jesus in Whom full Deity lives. Paul rehearsed his conversion and said:
At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. Acts 26:13
And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. Acts 26:14
And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. Acts 26:15
In His human form Jesus was the visible off flash of the true radiance and majesty of God. After He returned as full Deity his glorified body was still invisible but His voice could be heard and he appeared as a great, blinding light:
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, Colossians 2:9
Remember that the Word was with God and was God just as my word and wisdom is with me. However, the Word laid aside the garments of glory and majesty of God and lived in "a body prepared" for God. When the Word returned to the bosom of the Father, He was in the "folds of the garments" of God:
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Matthew 1:18
Since God is pure or Holy Spirit, He is invisible and incomprehensible to the human eye and mind. However, even if you cannot see me you can understand my mind by listening to my Words. In a similar way, God projected Himself into His physical world as light and Word.
Moses was alowed to see God's back parts (Ex 33:23) but He could not see His face. Therefore, God placed the face of Jesus Christ between His glory and us so that we can see an "image" of God:
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6
By the use of Holy Ghost by the King James revisers they understood God like the disembodied spirit of a person. By analogy, suppose that Casper the ghost decides to materialize by projecting light from his invisible nature. We see the image of Casper but there are not two Caspers. So, in a way, God allows us see Him through the face of Jesus Christ.
The "Son" is one way of explaining God as He is manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). Jesus said that He had the Father with Him or in Him. Light is another way of God revealing His invisible qualities.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12
Christ was always the light or the visible representation of the invisible God:
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. Colossians 1:15
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Colossians 1:16
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1:17
We know that God dwelt in a human body "prepared for me." He was not a "son" in the sense of being the product of intercourse between God and Mary. This would deny the Virgin Birth. Paul clearly defines the meaning of Son:
The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation (stamp) of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. Hebrews 1:3
Again:

The radiance is the exact, visible view of the invisible God. It is the off-flash of God and not a separate being:
Apaugasma (g541) ap-ow'-gas-mah; from a comp. of 575 and 826; an off-flash, i.e. effulgence: - brightness.
Christ as Holy Spirit Fulfills Prophecy
To say Son is to say Mighty God in a visible form. Messiah would come as a child to be the "right shoulder" of God to bring redemption. He would be the Son, the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God and Eternal Father:
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful (miracle) Counselor, Mighty God (El) , Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:7
AND there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: Isaiah 11:1
And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; Isaiah 11:2
And shall make him of quick understanding (Ruwach or spirit) in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: Isaiah 11:3
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath (Ruwach or spirit) of his lips shall he slay the wicked. Isaiah 11:4
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. Luke 1:31
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: Luke 1:32
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Luke 1:33
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; John 14:16

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 28:19
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20
Jesus Returned as Spirit Father
Jesus made it clear that He and the Father were One. That is, the man Jesus possessed the Spirit of God Who laid aside His glory to be manifest or visible in the flesh. However, there is only one Father:
Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? Malachi 2:10
It was prophesied that Messiah would be the Father:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:6
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:9
Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. John 8:19
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. John 8:23
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. John 8:24
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Exodus 3:14
The word "he" is not in the original. Therefore, Jesus said: "Unless you believe that I am" you will die in your sins.
Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. John 8:25
I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. John 8:26
They understood not that he spake to them of the Father. John 8:27
I and my Father are one. John 10:30
But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. John 10:38

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. Revelation 21:7
When the Father sends the Holy Spirit it is the Son sending full Deity in Spirit form:
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. John 16:7
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26
If Jesus sent the Holy Spirit He would send in the name Jesus Christ.
If the Father sent the Holy Spirit He would send in the name Jesus Christ
Therefore, Jesus was right, "My Father and I are One."
And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. Luke 24:49
And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. Acts 1:4
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. Acts 2:33
The promise of the Father or Holy Spirit was a sign or proof that Jesus returned as He had promsed in John 14:18. Promise is:
When the Father draws it is Jesus the Christ drawing:
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:44
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. John 12:32
When God raises us up it will be Jesus the Christ as full Deity raising us up:
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:40
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Romans 4:17
And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. 1 Corinthians 6:14
When the Father answered prayer He would bear the name "Jesus" and He will do it:
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 16:14
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. John 16:23
When God Who is Spirit cleanses us it is in Jesus the Christ cleansing and sanctifying us:
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, John 5:26
JUDE, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Jude 1:1
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:11
To deny that Jesus is the Christ is to deny Both Father and Son:
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist,
that denieth the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 1 John 2:23
Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. 1 John 2:24
Jesus the Christ is God manifest in the flesh:
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16
BEHOLD, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 1 John 3:5
God the Father Who was manifested to take away the sins of the world was Jesus the Christ as God the Lamb:
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29
This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. John 1:30
And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. John 1:31
