The only meaning of WORSHIP is to bow or FALL ON YOUR FACE in Reverence and Godly Fear.
There is not a single example of a DAY OF WORSHIP in Scripture: individuals fall on their face.
There is not a single example of people of God gathering to WORSHIP in Scripture.
There is no example of anyone SINGING as an act of worsip.
There is no example of anyone PREACHING as worship.
There is no exampleof anyone PLAYING an instrument a worship.
Thre is no authorized example of anyone conducting worship services as PAY FOR PLAY.
THE GREEK WORD PARASITE DEFINES ANYONE HIRED TO PERFORM RELIGIOUS OBSERVATIONS. Chris Smith does not qualify as one earing his daily FOOD.
Rom. 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
ISN'T THIS A LAW??
THE GOSPEL has been delivered.
Rom. 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they BE SENT?
as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them
that preach the gospel of peace, and BRING glad tidings of good things!
Rom. 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the GOSPEL.
For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
Rom. 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God
Rom. 10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily,
their SOUND WENT into all the earth,
and their words [WENT]unto the ends of the world.
Gal. 1:11 But I certify you, brethren,
that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
Gal. 1:12 For I neither received it of man,
neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Was it for this He sent souls, that in men they should become impure,
in women harlots,
players on the triangle 310 and psaltery ; that they should prostitute their bodies for hire, should abandon themselves to the lust of all, 311 ready in the brothels, to be met with in the stews, 312 ready to submit to anything, prepared to do violence to their mouth even? 313
"Philodemus considered it paradoxical that music should be regarded as veneration of the gods while musicians were paid for performing this so-called veneration. Again, Philodemus held as self deceptive the view that music mediated religious ecstasy. He saw the entire condition induced by the noise of cymbals and tambourines as a disturbance of the spirit.
He found it significant that, on the whole, only women and effeminate men fell into this folly.
Accordingly, nothing of value could be attributed to music; it was no more than a slave of the sensation of pleasure, which satisfied much in the same way that food and drink did.
"Now, many a man from the false religions, which are not ashamed of criticising what is noble, will ask: how can there be a feast without carousing and overeating, without the pleasant company of hosts and guests, without quantities of unmixed wine, without richly set tables and highly stacked provisions of everything that pertains to a banquet, without pageantry and jokes,
bantering and merry-making to the accompaniment of flutes and citharas, the sound of drums and cymbals and other effeminate and frivolous music of every king,
enkindling unbridled lusts with the help of the sense of hearing. For in and through the same [pleasures] those persons openly seek their joy, for what true joy is their they do not know.
Instrumental "noise" is the MARK: The BEAST is a "new style of music or Satyric Drama." The Satyrs were half goat marking perversion. The Locusts were the "Muses" who were Apollon's Worship team: they were filthy adulteresses and become the SHEPHERDESSES when the Women and Men Rule over you.

PROOF ONE: WHY CHRIS SMITH AND THE POST-BIBLICAL THEOLOGIANS CANNOT BE CHRISTIANS.
John 8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you:

There is no singing or instruments connected with the WORSHIP of The Almighty. The Word or Logos is God's Regulative Principle and it OUTLAWS any ACT done in the name of God which is a religious OBSERVATION or a Lying wonder.
John 8:27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them,
When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
then shall ye know that I am he,
and that I do NOTHING of myself;
but as my Father hath TAUGHT me,
I SPEAK these things.

Harpeth presented a short rationale for IMPOSING musical instruments in what they call "WORSHIP" knowing that they were diverting other people's assembly for their own fun and profit and accepting that massive sowing of discord was not their problem. Paul in Ephesians 4 says that the cunning craftsmen or sophists meaning performance preaching, singing and playing instrument were LYING IN WAIT TO DECEIVE. Jude using the Mount Sinai instrumental-Trinitarian-perverted idolatry which was BEYOND REDEMPTION to warn.
Both the speaking style and the urge to reject authority with "MUSIC" rejecting the Word, Logos or regulative principle is the mark of the Babylonian Mother of Harlots [Rev 17]. Here priests are Lusted After Fruits who serve as singers, instrument players or "grinders" as prostitutes. A Techne or craftsman is any Merchant-Clergy all of whom are called "Parasites" when people grasped that God never commanded priests or animal slaughter.

At the Towers of Babylon where the Musical Worship Teams get their ONLY authority:
"The temple was staffed by priests, priestesses, musicians, singers, castrates and hierodules (Temple Prostitutes). During the later, the king would be married to Inanna as the resurrected fertility god Dumuzi..." -
Asherah: Queen of Heaven, Ashtoreth, Athirat, Astarte, and Ishtar. Her "male" priestesses were known as kelabim, the faithful "dogs" of the Goddess, who practiced divinatory arts, danced in processions, and served as hierodules, qedeshim, in the company of other priestesses. Goddess worship were largely erased in a cultural purge c. 630 BCE by King Josiah.
"there may have been large numbers of eunuchs, as well as temple slaves. Merlin Stone believes that "sacred women" celebrated their sexuality and fertility by making love in Eanna in Inanna's name. This seems to be supported as that H.R. Hays says that there were temple prostitutes associated with Inanna, which is not too out of line as that she is supposed to be the goddess of prostitutes." Jude 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence
to write unto you of the common salvation,
it was needful for me to write unto you,
and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend
for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Jude 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares,
who were before of old ordained to this condemnation,
ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness,
and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jude 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this,
how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt,
afterward destroyed them that believed not.
Exodus 32 They Sat Down to Eat and rose up to play:
This was the Instrumental-Trinitarian-Perverted Idolatry at Mount Sinai. This violation was BEYOND REDEMPTION.
"Allegory and metaphor elevated the ART over the humdrum of life. The Baroque belittled theatrical realism and dramatic truth as commonplace.
It created the castrato, a creature without sex but with a heavenly voice instead.
It saw the emergence of virtuosity which transported the listener into a world of marvels. We know the Gnostics used sexual practices to bind the flesh and the divine together (Rev. 2:20). In most ancient pagan religions the act of procreation was a mystery; they thought fornication and in some instances"The Baroque invented sentimental shepherds and shepherdesses with salon manners and salon language. It created melodies with virtuoso ornaments and opera became a theatre in which singing replaced ordinary speech.
"It invented the wig and female knickers with flounce, lace and ribbons, all of which was to imbue reality with a more poetic character. It created the gallant style and the theory of affections, which isolated and catalogued human emotions and feelings. The opera was the most eloquent manifesto of the escape from reality into a better world.
homosexuality linked them to the world of the gods.Chris Smith says that God Commands Instrumental Music as worship. There is no reason that those who do not follow Jesus and preach the Word--regulative principle or CENI--should know the meaning of the Church (ekklesia), its assembly (synagogue) or the meaning of worship. Worship is IN the spirit which is a PLACE since God does not dwell in houses built by human hands nor is He worshipped by the WORKS of human hands.
Apparently, this sexual aspect of Gnosticism was incorporated with Jezebel's teaching which Jesus condemned (Rev. 3:20). The apostle Peter was aware of this problem." (Trombley, Who Says Women Cannot Teach, p. 176).
The Universities you once Trusted Boasted about "transistioning" young men into the Instrumental Music Sect.

The punch line in the book of Acts--and there are others--is Stephen refuting the Jews: God did not command the Temple or sacrificial system. Stephen identifies the beyond-redemption instrumental-trinitarian PLAY. I will post another paper for anyone interested.
Christ in Jeremiah 32 says that if you say that God commanded something
And God did not command it
You despise the Holy Spirit OF Christ and the word is blasphemy.
The Spirit OF God is the BREATH of the Father who delivers the Word without metron or meter
Therefore, Jesus speaks only what the Father breathes into Him.
Jesus of Nazareth is the "another Comforter" or paraklete. Paul had to SEE and hear the voice of the risen Spiritual Jesus for any further instructions. If you claim that A spirit is going to affirm your agenda the only personified spiritus is Abaddon or Apollon who is the leader of the muses (locusts) in person.
"The triumphal hymn of Moses had unquestionably a religious character about it; but the employment of music in religious services, though idolatrous, is more distinctly marked in the festivities which attended the erection of the golden calf." (Smith's Bible Dictionary, Music, p. 589).
Acts 7:41 And they made a calf in those days,
and offered sacrifice unto the idol,
and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.
God is not worshipped with the words or works of human hands.

Philodemos considered it paradoxical that music should be regarded as veneration of the gods while musicians were paid for performing this so-called veneration. Again, Philodemus held as self-deceptive the view that music mediated religious ecstasy. He saw the entire condition induced by the noise of cymbals and tambourines as a disturbance of the spirit. (Paul called it mad or insane) He found it significant that, on the whole, only women and effeminate men fell into this folly."
If you look for a holy spirit to contradict all of the Scriptures all of the passages prove that you can never recover. Musical Idolatry is not so much the sin as it is God's way to mark those from whom the lamps have been removed (Rev 18). That is because they are really SORCERERS or angels of light and they will be-are CAST ALIVE INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.
What the Spirit of Christ condemned in Amos:
"In pagan traditions, musical instruments are invented by gods or demi-gods, such as titans. In the Bible, credit is assigned to antediluvian patriarchs, for example, the descendants of Cain in Genesis 4:21. There is no other biblical tradition about the invention of musical instruments." (Freedman, David Noel, Bible Review, Summer 1985, p. 51). (Proof Here).

THE BEASTThe name Phoebus (also spelled Phevos, Greek for "shining one") was also used for Apollo in the context of the god of light. As Smintheus ("rat") and Parnopius ("grasshopper"), he was the god of the plague and defender against rats and locusts.
Apollo was known as the leader of the Muses ("musagetes") and director of their choir. His attributes included: swans, wolves, dolphins, bows and arrows, a laurel crown, the cithara (or lyre) and plectrum. The tripod is another attribute, representative of his prophetic powers.
As god of colonization, Apollo gave guidance on colonies, especially during the height of colonization, 750-550 BC.

What Chris Smith says: that: Casual Observer would know not heard a sermon preached [against instruments] for 30 years. The youth had been led using instruments for ten years or more.
They had already been subverted as the plan beginning with the Jubilee movement. However, he says that the elders and preacher did not have an agenda before they began praying for God to GUIDE THEM into what He defines as idolatry and the mark of burning.
Christ in Jeremiah 23 notes that if you say that God commanded something He did NOT command that despises the WORD and the Latin is blasphemy.
Unfortunately they use ALL of the passages connected with God's abandonment of the Jews to worship the starry host BECAUSE of instrumental idolatry at Mount Sinai.RICK ATCHLEY:
To a question, he responds, "you are going to find a lot of a cappella churches that are gonna' start saying 'Sunday morning we are going to be a cappella, but after that, we are going to let a lot of freedom reign,' which is pretty much what we do at Richland Hills. You walk into our youth center Sunday morning or Wednesday night: and I'm telling you--Christian rock an' roll is just blasting'" (p. 9). [that F word]
When WE made the decision, WE knew WE would have to explain why WE were making the decision, so I led the church through some teaching on why WE were making the change WE made.
And "We used christian bands to teach your youth to leave your movement."
None of these passages have to do with the Christ-ordained Church in the Wilderness which was inclusively-exclusively a School of the Word. Christ warns about Lucifer (Zoe) as the singing and harp-playing prostitute. Instrumental NOISE never music was used to make the lambs dumb during the God-abandoned slaughter of the innocents and their HOLOCAUST.
Chris Smith builds on the pattern of 2 Chronicles 29: they burned infants just before Hezekiah burned goat as exorcism of an Assyrian polluted king, kingdom, temple and priesthood none of which God commanded. And as soon as Hezekiah died the restored burning infants. They profaned the REST day but it didn't matter: God had abandoned them.
- However, the SABBATH was never a day of worship for the godly Jews.
- If you say that the Lord's Day is for worship meaning "to make the lambs dumb before the slaughter.
- Then, You still blaspheme because the REST day was for refreshing the body and for EDUCATION ONLY.
Any casual reader would never find an example of group singing with or without instruments AS worship. Any bible student would have to be educated to miss the PATTERN of Jesus.Sabba^t-ismos , ho,A.a keeping of days of rest, Ep. Hebr.4.9, (codd., baptismous Bentley).
If you say that our new REST day is for worshiping the performers trying to attract the WORLD (for which Jesus does not pray), at Best you are selling your body parts with no intention of "using one mind and one mouth to speak that which is written." SPEAK is the opposite of ODE. Chris is Wrong: the text does not say SING Psalms. The word SPEAK is the opposite of music. The word or LOGOS, or regulative principle is OPPOSITE to rhetoric (however slick), singing or playing the guitar.

There is no law of tithing or "laying by in store."

Matt. 23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne,Chris Smith follows the White Paper of the NACC boasting about "transistioning" churches of Christ into instrumental idolatry. He lists all of the passages about instruments under the GOD CURSED AND ABANDONED Monarchy. This was ANTITHETICAL to the Synagogue called the SCHOOL and the godly people were restricted to quarantine them from the Harpith Hills Worship Rituals. In his proof texts God has ABANDONED the Civil-Military.Clergy to worship the starry hosts. The service of the Levite Sorcerers is the same word used of ABADDON or Apollyon now probably unleashed from Hell as the Leader of the musicians.

Paul warned that the cunning craftsmen or sophists (speakers, singers, instrument players) should be removed by APT elders because this is the mark of those LYING IN WAIT TO DECEIVE.
If you believe all of the proof texts of God-abandoned Jews you will not be able to read all of those condemnations which Chris Smith says are NOT in the Bible. While they repudiate the Regulative Principle or LOGOS which outlaws rhetoric and music Christ in Isaiah 8 says that this is the mark that THERE IS NO LIGHT IN THEM. Therefore for the tiny number of the Little Flock of the SECT that is called the WAY (a narrow road) we will list a few of the absolute MARKS those turning and rending churches claim are not there. God sends strong delusions so that people probably can no longer read the text: Lying Wonders are religious operations claiming that all of the performing arts are from God.

GOD HAD NOT COMMANDED SACRIFICES WHEN HE SAVED THEM BY GRACE
There is no command for "instrumental worship" in the Law of Moses. When the elders FIRED God so they could worship like the pagans (with instruments) David issued all of the commands for instruments. When you are abandoned by God to worship according to the Monarchy Plan this is the MARK that God has deserted you and will NOT answer when you call for help. Human imagination claiming "a" spirits help should know that the SPIRITUS in a personified sense speaks of Apollo, Abaddon or Apollyon: he has been unleashed from hell and he is known as the Leader of the Muses. John uses the word LOCUST to fool those who did not know what many readers would understand.

You say right; I care for no dainties. Drink away, Piper13; drink, if you do drink. I' faith, this must be drunk--don't shirk it. Holds the goblet to the PIPER. Why flinch at what you see must be done by you? Why don't you drink? Do it, if you are to do it. Take it, I tell you, for the public pays for this. That's not your way to shirk your drink. Take your pipes14 out of your mouth. The PIPER drinks.
14 Take your pipes: The "Tibicines," "Pipers" or "flute-players," among the Greeks and Romans, were in the habit of playing upon two pipes at the same time. These were perfectly distinct, and were not even, as has been supposed by some, connected by a common mouth-piece. The Romans were particularly fond of this music, and it was introduced both at sacrifices, funerals, and entertainments. See a comical story about the Roman "Tibicines" in the Fasti of Ovid, B. 6, l. 670 et seq. From the present specimen they appear to have been merry souls, occupying much the same place as the country fiddlers of modern times.STICHUS
