Study for the Week--or Day--as need arises.

One researcher has found that most church division (sectarianism) is created by those who impose forms of music into the church. While no one will ever wean most churches from singing, it is a historical fact that singing as an ACT or liturgy was not added until about the year 373. The second reason for discord was using human compositions to replace the Biblical Text for teaching. All of the church "fathers" and founders of denominations repudiate music as proof that one has no interest in quietly listening to God speak through His Word. Not even the Catholic church conducted worship with "congregational singing and organ accompaniment."

Those who attempt to impose "styles" of singing with or without instruments rest their case on the Jewish Monarchy. God had virtually abandoned them nationally because of musical idolatry at Mount Sinai (Acts 7). When they demanded to live under a national (Gentile) system God understood that they wanted to worship like the Gentiles. Therefore, God gave them kings in His anger and took them awway in His anger as He abandoned them to Assyrian and Babylonian captivity.

All of the proof texts used all defenders of "SET A PASTOR OVER US"use the Kings and Sacrificial system as their authority for deliberately sowing discord to add the sacrificial "exorcism" noise (never calleld music). Therefore, they use the PATTERNISM of God's abandonment as the legalistic patternism for the modern church. Because the church is an ekklesia, synagogue or school of the Bible, this is proof that people have left the Word of God.

So, was the sacrificial system a good thing to impose on the nation? False preachers say it gives them authority to make you into servants or slaves. If God contradicts them then you need to cast out the moneychangers.

They ALL claim that the Holy Spirit PERSON gave them authority, but the Spirit OF Christ refutes them.

Neh 9:20 Thou gavest also THY good spirit to instruct them, and withheldest not thy manna from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst.

But Jeshurun [Israelites] waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God (Elowahh singular) which made him,
and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. De.32:15

This ROCK was Christ and the gift of the "spirit" was the spiritual food and water.

And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 1 Cor 10: 2
And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 1 Cor 10:3

And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them:
and that Rock was Christ. 1 Cor 10:4

The GOOD SPIRIT was the Same Spirit OF Christ. Making the Spirit OF God into another "person" better qualified for cleaning up the earth is to despise the One Supreme God of the universe.

> "For this reason, the Holy Spirit has frequently been personified in Scripture, identifying it with God, and so it is personified as he. "However, if the Holy Spirit were actually a person it should be rendered as he in every place where the word is referred to; but it is not.

It is sometimes rendered in the neuter. In Romans 8:16, Paul writes: "The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit." The neuter, itself is used, and this is in accord with the Greek text, as any Greek scholar will acknowledge.

"To personify inanimate objects is normal in Scripture. Wisdom is represented as a woman (Proverbs 9:1), mammon is described as a friend (Luke 16:9), sin is personified as a slave-owner (Romans 6:16), the Holy Spirit as a comforter (John 14:26), expressing the spirit of Truth. So Micah declared: "I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord" (Micah 3:8). The prophets were moved by the spirit to record the Scriptures (Nehemiah 9:20; 2 Peter 1:21), and God used the same means to speak to Israel through His Son (Hebrews 1: 1).

> "Personification.-- This is a figure of speech by which inanimate beings are spoken of as animated, or endowed with life and volition; animals are endowed with feelings akin to those of men.

"This is well suited to an imaginary condition of mind, and therefore frequently employed in Hebrew Scriptures. Indeed, it is now a staple in the market of communication, and we use it so commonly ourselves that whe have almost ceasted to speak of it as a figure of speech." (Prof. D. R. > "For God is rational, and Reason was first in Him; and so all things were from Himself... because also Word itself consists of Reason, which it thus proves to have been the prior existence as being its own substance.... He became also the Son of God, and was begotten when He proceeded forth from Him (Tertullian from chs. 5,7).

Persona. (Plural: personae.) Latin word translated as "person." Tertullian used this word in his trinitarian formula, "una substantia et tres personae" ("three persons in one substance").

Early Latin usage did not restrict the word to its modern meaning of a self-conscious being. At that time, it could mean a mask worn by an actor, a role in a drama, or a legal party to a contract.

"Again--Some will say, What does the expression Holy Spirit mean? Well, in scripture it stands first for God the Holy Spirit, and secondly for the holy mind or spirit of a believer--for illustration, take Peter's words to Ananias, "Why has Satan tempted you to lie to the Holy Spirit; you have not lied to men, but to God," (the Holy Spirit.) And the Saviour says, How much more will your heavenly Father give a holy spirit (as it should be translated) to those that ask him. Again--Praying in a holy spirit. Again--Paul says he approved himself God's servant "by knowledge, by long sufferings, by kindness, by a holy spirit'" by a mind innocent of the love of gain, or commerce, or sensuality. Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by THY spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands. Neh 9:30

The SPIRIT in the Prophets was the Same Christ who spoke ONLY through the prophets and later apostles: modern preachers and elders are neither. All of the prophets directly contradict their claim that the "spirit person" lives literally inside of the body and gives them permission to twist the Scriptures. Notice some of the proofs that John who wrote about "another" Comforter said that His name was Jesus Christ the Righteous who lives in the mind or spirit BY FAITH and not literally.

> But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 2 Cor 3:15
Nevertheless, when it shall turn [baptized] to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 2 Cor 3:16
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2 Cor 3:17
        But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory OF the Lord,
        are changed into the same image from glory to glory,
        even as by the Spirit OF the Lord. 2 Cor 3:18
> Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit OF Christ which was in them [prophets] did signify, when IT testified beforehand the sufferings OF Christ, and the glory that should follow. 1 Peter 1: 11

   Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves,
        but unto us they did minister the things,
        which are now reported unto you by them

that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. 1 Peter 1: 12

The Spirit is ministered by preaching: Spirit is received by hearing.

> Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation 2 Pet 1:20
        For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:
        but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit 2 Pet 1:21

> And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus IS the spirit of prophecy. Rev 19:10

Blaspheming the Spirit OF Christ, here is what they INTEND to do TO you!

Neither have our kings, our princes, our priests, nor our fathers, kept thy law,
nor hearkened unto thy commandments and thy testimonies,
wherewith thou didst testify against them. Neh 9:34

For they have not served thee in their kingdom,
        and in thy great goodness that thou gavest them,
        and in the large and fat land which thou gavest before them,
        neither turned they from their wicked works. Neh 9:35

Behold, we are servants this day,
and for the land that thou gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof
and the good thereof, behold, we are servants in it: Neh 9:36

And it yieldeth much increase unto the kings
        whom thou hast set over us because of our sins:
        also they have dominion over our bodies, and over our cattle,
        at their pleasure, and we are in great distress. Neh 9:37

When the elders fire God and demand "set a king over us" (senior preacher) everyone knows that the kings will take your lands, your tithes, your sons and daughters to give to their beloveds who head up "ministeries" over various fractions of the "nation." In this, the elders LOST their authority and became slaves to the senior minister.

Why would they fool you as the LEGALISTIC PATTERNISM of bondage? In the words of a famous president: "Because I could."

There was no MUSIC in the national worship until AFTER the Kings took control. The Levitical Warrior Musicians served the kings and not God. This was always a loud MARK that people had been abandoned by God.
