There is not a single example in Holy Scripture of anyone said to WORSHIP by preaching, listening, singing, playing instruments, acting or PAY TO PLAY.

The Christian Church Instrumental Sect, claims that God comanded them to WORSHIP with Musical instruments which are the WEAPONS of Witchcraft or Sorcery (Miriam and the Levites."  The Instrumental Sect knew that they would sow discord with a high hand. Therefore, there van be no redemption for them or those who rose up in Instrumental-Trinitarian-Perverted Idolstry at Mount Sinai.  God also hates the songs IN the temple: this was the signs that FRUITS or Catamites had invaded.

David Faust promoted the instrumental music position at Freed Hardeman University in 2006. Ralph Gilmore spoke for Freed Hardeman University but only David Faust's position has been actively promote by Victor Knowles and the NACC driving a hostile takeover.   2 Chronicles 29 is used as the direct command or patternism for imposing "instrumental praise" in the Church which is a School of the Word.  This is bracketed by 2 Chronicles 28 which shows that the Assyrian gods were being worshipped in Jerusalem and the king took the sacrificial system out from quarantine behind city walls, and 2 Chronicles 33 when the burnt offering of infants was resumed proving that the worship in Jerusalem was that of the starry host as God had ordained because of musical idolatry at Mount Sinai. This burnt offering of the goats when the Levites made noise by the command of David is defined as demonism, witchcraft or sorcery.

8.15.11 The Disciples/Christian Church first proposed that 'psallo' MEANS to make music with an instrument when it never means more than pluck with your fingers and NEVER with a plectrum.  In fact, if you used this folly and make melody with anything but a fingered string you VIOLATE their direct command and are a divisive sinner.

  1. They also claimed that God COMMANDED instrumental music in worship in the Old Telstament. Now, they say that if you do NOT then you are disobedient.
  2. There is no evidence that God commanded any kind of "musical" device at any time or place even when He abandoned them to worship the starry host because of musical idolatry at Mount Sinai which was a terminal sin.
  3. If God did not command musical instruments then The Holy Spirit of Christ in Jeremiah 23 says that you blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
There are many instances where the fall into the use of instruments told God to stop speaking to them. This is a sin without redemption.

No one can read the Old Testament without understand that David radically changed the roles of the Levites from servants into linen-wearing musicians: God did not do that.  Christ in Ezekiel insists that David's demoting the Zadok priesthood was when the Levites Went Astray.

See 2 Chronicles 33 showing that Israel's national or Gentile worship was witchcraft or demon worship. Paul affirms this in 1 Corinthians 10 and Hebrews.

See Matthew 11 where the violent men who take over the kingdom using violent means points directly to the Scribes and Pharisees as hypocrites which in Ezekiel 33 are speakers, singers and instrument players. The violent means are clearly defined (by word definition) as those who use musical means to silence the voice of Jesus Christ.

Why Musical Worship Teams and Clergy Musicians are ANATHEMA: that is, those whose profession is to be a fixture to bring glory to a "temple" or Shrine, dedicate themselves to that God:

We will show from Scripture that after the Israelites, especially the Levites, fell into musical idolatry at Mount Sinai they jumped at the chance to EXECUTE 3000 of their instrumental brethren.  God through Moses then said that they must bear the burden of their own iniquiity.  The Tabernacle was now off limits to the people and the command of God was that that:

They stand in ranks and execute any godly person who came near any holy thing or into any holy place.
The Holy Place would stand for the future body of Christ and the message is that any one who comes into the presence of God with a musical instrument is worthy of death.  Both Isaiah 30 and Revelation says that the future performers will be cast alive into the lake of fire.

Their "prophesying" with instruments means that they were SOOTHSAYERS with instrumental accompaniment

Because all of the Direct Commands demanding instrumental noise in the "school of the Bible" are built upon the Jewish Sacrificial system and the Monarchy and Temple, it would be well to show that the sacrificial system, the king, kingdom and temple were allowed after Israel fell from Grace, you should be aware that those sowing deliberate discord to impose instruments are moving you back beyond the cross and into that which God permitted as a curse.

BUILDING THE FOUNDATION:

Chrysostom is used to DEFEND the use of instrumental music contrary to all of his writings. For instance.

In the Treatise adv. Judaeos, iv. §6. tom. i. 624. C. St. Chrysostom gives this account of the legal sacrifices: "To what purpose unto Me is the multitude of your sacrifices? etc. (Isaiah i., 11, ff.)

Do ye hear how it is most plainly declared, that God did not from the first require these at your hands? Had He required them, He would have obliged those famous saints who were before the Law to observe this practice.

Then wherefore has He permitted it now? In condescension to your infirmity. As a physician in his treatment of a delirious patient, etc.: thus did God likewise. For seeing them so frantic in their lust for sacrifices, that they were ready,  unless they got them, to desert to idols: nay not only ready,

but that they had already deserted, thereupon He permitted sacrifices. And that this is the reason, is clear from the order of events.
After the feast which they made to the demons, then it was that He permitted sacrifices: all but saying: `Ye are mad, and will needs sacrifice: well then, at any rate sacrifice to Me. 0'"-(What follows may serve to illustrate the brief remark a little further on, Kai h aixmalwsia kathgoria thj kakiaj.)

"But even this, He did not permit to continue to the end, but by a most wise method, withdrew them from it ...
For He did not permit it to be done in any place of the whole world,

       but in Jerusalem only. Anon, when for a short time
         they had sacrificed, he destroyed the city.

Had He openly said, Desist, they, such was their insane passion for sacrificing, would not readily have complied. But now perforce, the place being taken away, He secretly withdrew them from their frenzy."

So here: "Even the captivity impeaches the wickedness (which was the cause of the permission of sacrifice."

Molech . . . Chiun--"Molech" means "king" answering to Mars [BENGEL]; the Sun [JABLONSKI]; Saturn, the same as "Chiun" [MAURER]. The Septuagint translates "Chiun" into Remphan, as Stephen quotes it (Ac 7:42,43). The same god often had different names.

Molech is the Ammonite name; Chiun, the Arabic and Persian name, written also Chevan. In an Arabic lexicon Chiun means "austere"; so astrologers represented Saturn as a planet baleful in his influence. Hence the Phoenicians offered human sacrifices to him, children especially; so idolatrous Israel also. Rimmon was the Syrian name (2Ki 5:18); pronounced as Remvan, or "Remphan," just as Chiun was also Chevan. Molech had the form of a king; Chevan, or Chiun, of a star [GROTIUS]. Remphan was the Egyptian name for Saturn: hence the Septuagint translator of Amos gave the Egyptian name for the Hebrew, being an Egyptian. [HODIUS II, De Bibliorum Textibus Originalibus. 4.115].

2Kings 5:18 In this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing. 

The same as the Nile, of which the Egyptians made the star Saturn the representative [HARENBERG]. BENGEL considers Remphan or Rephan akin to Teraphim and Remphis, the name of a king of Egypt.

The Hebrews became infected with Sabeanism, the oldest form of idolatry, the worship of the Saba or starry hosts, in their stay in the Arabian desert, where Job notices its prevalence (Job 31:26); in opposition, in Am 5:27, Jehovah declares Himself "the God of hosts."

the star of your god--R. ISAAC CARO says all the astrologers represented Saturn as the star of Israel. Probably there was a figure of a star on the head of the image of the idol, to represent the planet Saturn; hence "images" correspond to "star" in the parallel clause. A star in hieroglyphics represents God (Nu 24:17). "Images" are either a Hebraism for "image," or refer to the many images made to represent Chiun.

27. beyond Damascus--In Ac 7:43 it is "beyond Babylon," which includes beyond Damascus. In Amos time, Damascus was the object of Israel's fear because of the Syrian wars. Babylon was not yet named as the place of their captivity.

Stephen supplies this name. Their place of exile was in fact, as he states, "beyond Babylon," in Halah and Habor by the river Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes (2Ki 17:6; compare here Am 1:5 4:3 6:14). The road to Assyria lay through "Damascus." It is therefore specified, that not merely shall they be carried captives to Damascus, as they had been by Syrian kings (2Ki 10:32,33 13:7),

but, beyond that, to a region whence a return was not so possible as from Damascus.
They were
led captive by Satan into idolatry,
therefore God caused them to go captive among idolaters.

Compare 2Ki 15:29 16:9 Isa 8:4, whence it appears Tiglath-pileser attacked Israel and Damascus at the same time at Ahaz' request (Am 3:1).

IN 2 CHRONICLES 29 a plague has broken out and Hezekiah proposes to purge the city and temple of the previous pagan worship.  This was not an approved PATTERNISM for instrumental worship in the church: the animal slaughter including the burnt offering of goats as a "unity" gesture to Israel was the occasion for the returned Military Levites to make a great noise with their instruments.  Christ in the prophets correct the false preachers:

After the people rose up to play in musical idolatry, the Law of Moses was given to govern a nation turned over to worship the starry host.  Therefore, Jeremiah by the Spirit of Christ
Jer. 7:21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
        Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

The people not of Levi were
Quarantined from Sacrificial System added as part of the worship of the starry host to which God had abandoned the nation.

Isreal fell fatally from Grace because of musical idolatry at Mount Sinai.
God turned them over to worship the starry host (Acts 7 and a dozen more passages)
God burdened them with The Book of The Law and the Levites to "bear the burdens of sin."
The Abrahamic Covenant was lost and the First Born sons replaced.
No one not of that tribe not specificially ordained could COME NEAR the Tabernacle without sinning.

Because the false teachers REST on the curse of the Law and the Monarchy, the elders, preachers and artistic performers would be executed.

and later under the king and commanders of the army could come near the holy places of the sactury or they would be executed. The patternism is that if a musician enter into the body of Christ as fulfilment of the Holy Place is worthy of death.

All of the non-Levites were called STRANGERS: therefore, if you were not of the tribe of Levi and had the assignment to serve. Therefore, no member of the "church" could come near the Tabernacle.

"A stranger," that is, one, neither a priest nor a Levite, who should intrude into any departments of the sacred office, should incur the penalty of death. ROBERT JAMIESON

Num 18:4 And they shall be joined unto thee,
        and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation,
        for all the service of the tabernacle:
        and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.

Num 18:5 And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar:

Contrary to being a spiritual worship service, the sacrificial system had been imposed and if it were not performed it would bring down God wrath as punishment due for NOT performing what they had been abandoned to.

         to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

The sacrificial system was imposed on the Levites as a curse or burden.

That this was a curse

Furthermore, all of the performing arts are identified as the Hypocritic arts and because they produced nothing good and caused lots of destruction of morals they were called PARASITES.

Why are people so anxious to impose the CURSE  of hypocrites and parasites.

In NONE of the examples used as proof does the "congregation" involve the righteous "civilian" population: the kings called the priests, warrior musicians, trumpet blowers, civil leaders and "representatives" from the tribes called stationary men.

Wondering why FHU has invited pro-instrumentalists waving the "unity" flag, and why they, playing dumb, refused to refute David's 100% lying about the Bible and church history, we noted that:

Ken Dye is now at West End Church in Nashville, where Jim Bill McInteer preached for many years. Dye is scheduled to be at the Campbell Street Church in Jackson, Tenn, where he will hold a, "Home Inspection Series."

Ralph Gilmore, professor at Freed-Hardeman University is the preacher at Campbell Street Church. This is but another incident where, "Birds of a feather flock together." A fellow must be some more kind of liberal in order to be too rancid for the Hendersonville Church. For one to start one's own Community Church is dumbfounding. How much does a faculty member at F.H.U. need to know in order to pow-wow with liberal, cultic characters? Do you wonder why? I have no $$$ for Freed-Hardeman University, especially when one of its Bible (?) teachers is so weak, compromising, soft-soaping, as to pow-wow with an erst-while Community Church papa. Campbell Street must have a crew of children for its shepherds. Shame, shame! STOP  for the story line, its beginning and the players.

THE UNITY JUDAS GOAT

The Christian Chronicle - "These efforts are not about an organizational merger, but about celebrating a common heritage and focusing on a common mission," said David Faust, president of Cincinnati Christian University, at a meeting of church leaders Oct. 27-29 near Dallas.

The meeting, Ministry Impact '04, brought together 350 members of the conservative Christian Churches and of the churches of Christ for dialogue and fellowship. Together for Greater Ministry Impact '04 sponsored in part by Pepperdine. See Review

Speakers from both bodies noted the irony of the situation that prompted the meeting -- the American Restoration Movement of Alexander Campbell and Barton W. Stone began as a unity movement, but instead produced a three-way division-- the third being The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Truth is that there was never any UNITY between these diverse movements. Any hopes of simply meeting in the same buildings was dashed by the forming of the first Society and the Organ party which began in 1858.  The Christian church SECTED out of the Disciples only in 1968.

David Faust was president of the 2006 North american Christian Convention.  Mark Henderson of Quail Springs is repeating the same false teachings. That brought Rick Atchley INSTRUMENTALIST and sower of discord to speak for the Non-instrumental churches of Christ.  It is a fact that the NACC would never invite anyone they had not duped by previous UNITY meetings pretending that the churches of Christ SECTED out of the CHRISTIAN CHURCH in 1906 when the Christian Church still endorsed the Disciples denomination in 1906 and for another decade.  The only possible motive for UNITY "fixed dialog" is ....

KEYNOTE: Before you call it heresy, ask: what does PLAY mean. Why repeate the legalistic patternism of a nation abandoned to Sabazianism.
Just read an e-mail to that effect and have read the "frog boiling" sermons for a decade using the postmodern plan to make you HATE your father and mother and their "ignorance."  I propose that NO ONE who had ever read the Bible and history could be IGNORANT: the option is evil bordering on the "lying wonders" prophesied of the end time.

Both the INSTRUMENTAL side of churches of Christ and the INSTRUMENTAL side of the Christian church have the same PLAY BOOKS and both sides of the SHAM BATTLE is or pretends to be ignorant of the entire Old and New Testaments and the history of the church.


The PLOY was to speak of unity but the NACC planned to make a full court press of twisted scriptures. One has to muse whether either "wing" had ever read the context and story line which will accuse the sowers of discord in the end. I will be happy to fill in the blanks.

I am certain that the rank and file of churches of Christ DO NOT agree with their colleges and universities SEEKING unity in some kind of "union" and I do not believe that faithful members of the Christian churches agree with their now seemingly powerful STRUCTURE seeking to deliberately sow discord among peaceable churches of Christ (non instrumental by definition of "church.").  

David Faust says Psalm 87 prophesied instrumental music in the church. Did Jesus miss something? Do we sin if we do NOT play instruments?

David Faust said that Jesus did not address the instrumental music issue. Did David and all of the pro instrumentalists miss something.

UNITY for the instrumental sect means CONFORM or CONFIRM: no disciple of the Bible can miss the fact that MUSIC is the MARK of all falls from Grace and was brought into the garden of Eden as Lucifer "the singing and harp playing prostitute." She is the Mother of Harlots in Revelation 17 and in Revelation 18 John calls all of the singers, musicans and craftsmen SORCERERS who HAD deceived the whole world. That means that the CANDLES will never shine again.  This, too, agrees with The Book of Enoch as defined by Jude: the musical seducer and all she / he / it can seduce are those FOR WHOM God comes in judgment even as He came to Sinai with a FIREY LAW because of Musical Idolatry which repudiated His Word and Grace. 

In the year 1878, for the first time in recorded history, the Disciples used the Greek word Psallo to defend the use of instruments after they had become a sectarian offshoot of the American Restoration Movement--those who ADD something not necessary and which sows discord ARE by definition the sectarians. 

While some Christian churches and churches of Christ met on the sole basis of Stoneite 'union,' even these near misses never made the churches of Christ part of what would later become the Disciples.   See the recorded history where "union" was agreeing to assemble together WITHOUT discussing doctrinal issues. The Christian churches accepted none of the important views of the Reformers.  Stone speaking of his slow "conversion":

But this charge against me is not [19] novel. We were all pedo-baptists when we determined to take the name and word of Jesus alone as our name and our rule. Not long after I, with many others, from reading the scriptures, became came convinced that baptism signified immersion; we submitted to be immersed.

Many among us cried out, they have forsaken the Christian Church. Did we forsake it, or one principle on which the church had been constituted? You shall be judge. When Marshall, Thompson, and others endeavored to introduce another creed besides the Scriptures, and had persuaded many of the propriety, I, with R. Dooley, Kincade, and many others, stood up and boldly protested against it. Was it not then said, they have forsaken the Christian Church? And do you not remember that some of our once devoted friends could not receive us into their houses? You shall judge whether I, or they, forsook the Christian Church.

But you now preach, and boldly advocate, baptism for the remission of sins? Yes; and so I preached and acted near twenty years ago [1812]--so did our worthy brother James Hughs, whose faith is yet unwavering on this point; and so did others among us. Was it then objected against us that we had forsaken the Christian Church?

We had previously received the common exposition of Acts 2:38, "Be baptized for the remission of sins," which was,

"Be baptized on account of the remission of sins," believing that sins must be remitted before baptism.

But we saw that the text could not mean this, because it is said, [20] "Repent and be baptized
for the remission of sins;"

if we read for to mean on account of then it would follow that we must repent also on account of the remission of our sins. Can this be correct? Does not repentance always precede forgiveness? Is it not unnatural that we must be sorry and repent because our sins are forgiven?

We therefore understand it to mean, Repent, and be baptized unto, or in order to the remission of sins. In doing this, have we forsaken the Christian Church, or one principle upon which it was constituted? Or did the constitution of that Church forbid us to correct any error we might have entertained when we first constituted it? If so, did you not forsake that church when you were immersed?

But you insist so much upon this topic when many in the Christian Church are dissatisfied with the doctrine. Is this a good reason why I have forsaken the church?

You know the violent flood of opposition against us on this ground,
ever since Bro. Campbell came out so ably and fully on the doctrine.

Any similarity with the churches of Christ were accrued while they were still called Disciples. Therefore, as Stone held none of the principles brought with Thomas Campbell from a long history if faith, the Christian churches held nothing in common with the "Reformers" even when meeting in the same buildings UNTIL instruments were added.  

In 1906 the only thing that happened was that churches of Christ informed the "bean counter" of churches that they could NOT be counted as Disciples. At this time the Disciples was a full blown denomination declaring itself the organ of "all Christendom."  We have posted the Centenial Edition of the Declaration and Address which defines a denomination. You may see the "program" of which the Christian Church was a part.

ALMOST a century later the Stone Campbell Movement was formed and the NACC began to lay claim to "wayward" churches of Christ to be brought back into the fold.  It is a fact that no one has set out flying the 'unity' flag on either side which did not intend to subvert churches of Christs into the use of instrumental music or affirm that others were justified in establishing a sectarian party

Now, a century later (from 1906) the NACC denomination pretends that it was churches of Christ which formed an ANTI-instrumental church based purely on sectarian legalism.

That is about as logical as for churches of Christ to try to RECAPTURE the Baptist churches because some came out of that denomination.  
Because the Disciples needed no Biblical authority as a "high church" the NACC is stuck with having to rest its eternal soul on lying about all of the Biblical's rich emphasis of music as the MARK or CAUSE of all of the FALLS beginning in heaven and ending with the Mother of Harlots (now) whose singers, musicians and teknokrats are called SORCERERS by John.  If that wasn't enough one finds that all arousal singing and instrument words point to enchantmen or sorcery.  A musical instrument is defined as an organon or machine for doing hard work mostly in a WARFAR sense.

Bending over backward to be "nice" and "loving" I declare that all of the PROOFS used by those who planned to INFILTRATE and DIVERT as slowly as you boil a frog deliberately lie to God and about God.  I expect to receive a rebuttal on at least ONE passage which proves--in the words of Faust that God COMMANDS INSTRUMENTS and of Rick Atchley that WE MUST NOT DISOBEY.

We have collect raw data on David Faust's view that Psalm 87 prophesied instrumental music in the church and Hebrews 12 fulfills it. All of the Christian Church discorders cannot find ANY reason why anyone on a desert island wouldn't read the bible (unbiased by traditionalists!) and NOT want to use instrumental music. We have noted most of church history of people who read the Bible before the churches of Christ simply REFUSED to begin doing something they had NEVER done: no one in recorded history missed the point until now.

Reminding us of the fall from grace caused by music in The Book of Enoch, the Christian church seems to protest too much in the aggressive "unity" movement to force others to fall with them to conform or confirm. 

Book writers in the Disciples heritage have always treated the ANTI-instrumental position as a late invention and so vile that they must TAKE AN AXE to it and cut it off at the evil roots.  The fact is that before the Disciples invented the Greek word PSALLO to demand instruments in 1878, no one had ever misunderstood and all of the church fathers and founders of denominations repudiated instruments based on their understanding of the Biblical pattern (Yea CENI) and common sense for those who understand ekklesia to be a school of the Bible as did the campbells.
  • Stephen recited the idolatry at Mount Sinai which we know to be musical idolatry.
    Stephen said that God promised David a Tabernacle
    But, Solomon built Him a house
    But God does not live in houses built by human hands.
  • The only "musical" performance was in Jerusalem and AT but never IN the Temple.
  • The Temple was a National Temple devoted to animal sacrifices primarily to feed themsleves. [Hos 8:13]
  • This was part of the curse imposed when they fired God:  it was not a new system of "worship."
  • This lasted only a short time to prove that it was not God's Wish.
  • When the nation went into captivity they understood that the sacrifices had been for their joy and the music could not be performed any place else on earth and only by Levites.
  • The synagogue beginning in the wilderness continued side-by-side with this Astrial worship.
  • It was the fallen Tabernacle of David which God promised, says Stephen, BUT, Solomon built Him a house.
During the fairly ineffective contemporary assault against peaceable churches to deliberately sow discord some have changed their tactics to insist that God COMMANDED Instrument and we would be DISOBEDIENT if we did not obey the command. 

We have reviewed the standard mantra of Christian church writers such as Burgess, Knowles, Johnson, Charles Dailey R, Dunning, Downen and more. They tend to feed off Tom Burgess who has collected the Psallo passages but ignores that psallo never means more than PLUCK.  All of Burgess' references point to older males plucking a harp in order to seduce young boys who had been "plucked"  as "ministers of the gods" or Catamites.  As Jesus pointed to the closet  for worship and Paul declared that they worshiped IN the spirit, the warning was that outside there were dogs and consision. This points to the Cynics who used a special style of singing and instruments to attract mates which was a part of many pagan "worship centers."

We will look at the Temple Dedication animal sacrifice used as David Faust's DIRECT COMMAND for instruments. Reading context and story line beginning with musical idolatry at Mount Sinai, proves that when the temple was "filled" God effecively set flaming cherubim between the Ark and the people.  Never again could any but the high priest enter into the Most Holy place and then just once a year.  

The temple dedication really proves that the instrumental noise MARKED God's removing both of the original place of the Word and the Mercy Seat from their access.  In Second Corinthians three Paul shows that even from Mount Sinai God had removed their ability to read black text on white paper.  This supports the view that the Monarchy was permitted as a curse about which God warned the elders. God never got hungry or needed to be entertained with music.  In fact within five years of Solomon's death the Temple brought on a "sectarian" split in the nation and the Egyptians came for their gold.  It was the Levitical musicians who set forth the building of the temple as a way to increase the work product of the slaves.

Many of the prophets make a pointed attack on instrumental noise as a mark of those who had rejected the Word of God and in turn been rejected.  They deny the priestly claim of the Goyim or national religion that God ever commanded animal sacrifices when He brought them out of Egypt.

We wil look at just one passage adduced at Freed Hardeman University.  We will discuss it later in another paper:

Second Chronicles 5:14 adds an important point about the dedication of the temple. After the instrumentalists and the singers joined together in united praise to the Lord, the next verse says, "Then the temple of the Lord was filled with a cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God" God's "glory" in the form of a cloud was an expression of God's joy, pleasure, approval, and delight.

God was making known His presence in a very intense and powerfful way. The people not only honored the Lord as they played instruments and sang together, but they did so withh God's full and hearty approval. The Lord didn't just put up with the use of musical instruments; He smiled upon it, and expressed great delight and pleasure in the way His people praised Him through a combination of singing an instrumental accompaniment

The fact is, God SHUT DOWN the Temple and easy access to the Ark of The Covenant. This meant that they lost the Word once under the Mercy Seat AND grace of the Mercy Seat. 

As God promised, the kings would enslave them. The fact is that five years after Solomon's death his slave labor using the "musicians" to set forth the work invited the Egyptians to come and recover all of their Gold from a now DIVIDED KINGDOM (fellowship). Not even Enoch could do what the instrumentalists CLAIM for their "worship team":

  • Isn't it interesting that the 'union' achieved by David led him in pride to "take a census" and quarantine FROM the Tabernacle. He took authority from the "congregational" elders and collected it at Jerusalem and took their money to support what God granted as a CURSE.
  • This UNION was broken and MARKED by building a "mega church" to give glory to the king and MARKED by loud noise not called music except by the tone deaf.
  • Those who built the temple as shrine of the Monarchy and added loud music SHUT OFF access to God and were therefore accused of being the SECTARIAN party.

Isa 6:4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
Isa 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Isa 6:9

Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes;
        lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart,

"And I looked and saw therein a lofty throne: its appearance was as crystal, and the wheels thereof as the shining sun, and there was the vision of cherubim. And from underneath the throne came streams of flaming fire so that I could not look thereon. And the Great Glory sat thereon, and His raiment shone more brightly than the sun and was whiter than any snow. None of the angels could enter and could behold His face by reason of the magnificence and glory and no flesh could behold Him. The flaming fire was round about Him, and a great fire stood before Him, and none around could draw nigh Him: ten thousand times ten thousand (stood) before Him, yet He needed no counselor."      - 1 Enoch 18b-23a

Only believers who have been baptized can come boldly into the Holy and Most Holy place to worship God in the PLACE of the human spirit where not musician can LEAD US: 

Heb 9:6 Now when these things were thus ordained,
............ the priests went alway into the first tabernacle,
............ accomplishing the service of God.

Any singer or instrumentalists who "stumbled" into the Holy Place would be executed by the "brethren."

Heb 9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood,
............ which he offered for himself,
............ and for the errors of the people:

Heb 9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying,
............ that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest,
............ while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:

Heb 9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present,
............ in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices,
............ that could not make him that did the service perfect,
............ as pertaining to the conscience;

Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings,
............ and carnal ordinances,
............ imposed on them until the time of reformation.
Imposed: laid on, press on.
Carnal: flesh without skin, body as opposed to spirit: human nature with its frailties.
Heb 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come,
............ by a greater and more perfect tabernacle,
............ not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Heb 9:12
Neither by the blood of goats and calves,
............ but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place,
............ having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Heb 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats,
............ and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean,
............ sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ,
............who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God,
............purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

The only HINT of how God purese our conscience or spirits are:

toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

The same writer of Hebrews will say in the very next chapter that we must
come to Christ and have our body washed as a CONDITION of the COVENANT.

Heb.10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith,
............ having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience,
.............and our bodies washed with pure water.

Adding music, including singing non Scripture as an ACT in about 373, has always deliberately divided "kingdoms" when people need to establish their own kingdom.  There are numerous "patterns" to prove that this was not a legalistic patternism for the "school of the Bible" but of separating the symbolic presence of the deity FROM the common people.  Doesn't group singers and instrumentalists who claim to bring you into the presence of the gods INTEND to shut you--as the laity--off from the "holy place" of church architecture which is the podieum Isaiah said would NOT be in the church.

Let's Flash Back to The Desert Island Patternism

On a desert island, David Faust assumes that everyone would agree with what history universally repudiates.  Maybe not at a theological school with a "dogma" to spread, but on such an isolated place they would probably NOT toss a dart at the open Bible and pick a legalistic command to obey.  Unless they had decided to BURN ANIMALS to appease an assumed HUNGRY God lusting for entertainment, they would know NOT to make loud tribalistic noises.  If they began in Genesis and had resources they would know that a speaking snake is a parable as the Bible often uses names of animals to speak to those of faith: they would grasp that it was a musical enchanter and decide NOT to engage in witchcraft or sorcery (Rev 18) in violation of later direct commands.

If they honored God they would probably just read from beginning to end and they would discover that the FALLS FROM GRACE were all caused or marked by a MUSICAL INSTRUMENT.  So, maybe the bewitching instrumental sounds were intended to WARN people of the serpent who makes the same HISSING sounds as a fllute.

HERE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE THINGS WHICH WOULD STRIKE THEM IN AN UNBIASED FACE:

Look briefly at a few of the major falls from grace all caused or marked by music which the musical discorders must not be able to see:

  1. When Lucifer rose up in heaven seeking to take worship from God we know that he had some mystical power to seduce angels away from God.  In The Book of Jubilees and other commentaries on the Bible this included how to enchant with musical instruments. Enoch has them in deep remorse and bound but unable to repent.

    When God cast as profane Lucifer out of heaven the whord Chalal [h2490] defines playing the flute, stealing an inheritance, polluting and prostituting.  The word halal [h1986] translated as praise often means to "make yourself vile." The instrumental Psalms were warrior's boast songs and used as a threat to make the enemy turn coward: remember Gideon?  The word
    heylel [h1966] or Lucifer is derived from the PRAISE word halal. The flute or pipe is chaliyl [h2485] from Chalal. In fact, all "arousal" singing and instruments derive from roots meaning to make self vile or to enchant which John called sorcery or witchcraft.  Using a similar term, Jesus cast as profane the musical minstrels trying to communicate or appease the dead girl.  The word means cast our LIKE DUNG and this has the same message as the abominations brought by Israel out of Egypte devoted to sun worship or the DUNG god who "rolled" the sun like a gilgal.

  2. When Lucifer came into the garden of Eden, personified as the king of Tyre, he / she / it is called the "singing and harp playing prostitute." Because the serpent is defined as a Musical Enchanter, Adam and Eve being cast out of the garden and losing contact with God's presence and grace is a MARK which cannot be ignored.  The "flaming cherubim" we will see GUARDING God's symbolic presence in the temple kept humanity OUT of the garden.

  3. The Lamech family of Jubal, Jabal, Tubal-Cain and Naamah identify all of the arts used to seduce people in order to "steal" their inheritance.  Jubal "handled" the harp and organ meaning without authority.  The organon or musical instrument in Greek is a machine for doing hard work or producing shock and awe which is the purpose of all performance rituals. 

    The word "Cain" is derived from a musical note or mark.  He gave rise to the Cainites or Kenites who were the pervasive influence in the Jerusalem temple especially when Jesus came.  John calls them a generation of Vipers and Peter said to save YOURSELVES from that "crooked generation." History well documents the skolion singing of the crooked male assemblies where perversion was usuallly the mark. Didn't Paul warn in the words of several texts: "don't get fluted down with wine." As the Abomination of Desolation, Zeus and Dionysus was worshipped with wine, women and song quite identical to the Amos warning.  The Jewish clergy were still afflicted with music which induced both wine and homosexuality.

    This was recorded on clay tablets where Inanna  [Eve, Zoe] stole the powers from the father god by getting him drunk.  The MEs included the power of the elder, the power of organizing musical performers, the ability to control the gates of hell and the power of 'kissing the phallus' among all powers over man. She delighted in getting people to build temples and then in a fit of rage tore them down by sowing discord among brothers.  The music--sexuality persona marked all pagan goddess worship of which musical "rituals" are proof.
  4. These commentaries prove that when people left the Living Word and fell into this musical idolatry they became vile and could never return to the Word.  Romans 1 defines this perfectly.  1 Corinthians 1 defines the prophecy that ALL of these operatives will have no place in the church. As consolation, they tried to seduce as many people as they could into music idolatry awaiting their firey punishment. This was recorded in The Book of Enoch, Book of Jubilees, Adam and Eve and dozens of contemporaneous commentaries on the fall from grace.    I find it more than strange that people who say that "music doesn't matter" would deliberately distort the Word of God trying to sow massive discord.

    Satan (Azazel the "scape goat") and other fallen angels taught mankind all of the seductive arts including musical enchantment. Jude explains how God will come with ten thousand angels to judge the world. After Nadab and Abihu the Israelites were forced to appease Azazel. In other societies this was human sacrifice after the victim had all of the food, sex and playing music they could tolerate for a year. This was also the mark of the Aztez Jubilee every 52 years and 52 weeks.   That is an evidence of being TURNED OVER to worship the starry host and NOT a legalistic patternism for us.

    The evil Lamech family caused the fall from grace and God destroyed the earth but saved a tiny remnant of the faithful Lamech family through Noah.

  5. After centuries of slavery, by grace God rescued the Israelites from Egypt and gave them The Book of The Covenant at Mount Sinai. They refused to hear the voice of God and "rose up to play" in musical idolatry. God came with this ten thousands of judges and gave them a firey law and sentenced them back to Babylon and the loss of grace.  This is the same perverted play the "pipers" hoped to induce in Jessus and others to sing and dance the "bowing to Dionysus shuffle."  Jesus consigned them to the marketplace where even decent Greek society QUARANTINED the singing, music, dancing, rhetoric and selling of bodies and sick speeches.

    "In Greek ritual the SACRIFICE was accompanied by the invocatory cries of WOMEN.
    Their purpose was to call the good gods so that they cound ENJOY the SACRIFICE.
    Music
    had the same character of epiclesis. It was understood to "call down" the good gods.
    Menander attests to the attribution of this significance to music. According to Plutarch,
    the inhabiants of Argos blew trumpets (yobel=jubilee) on the FEAST of Dionysos
    so as to call the god up from the depths of the river Lerne for the sacrifice. Because song and music increased the efficacy of the epiclesis
    the words of epiclesis were nearly always sung to instrumental accompaniment.

    Thus the Dionysian fellowship used the ritual of women in order to obtain the appearance of their god.
    Arnobius alludes to such songs of the pagans performed to flute accompaniment,
    and he mockingly asks whether the sleeping deities will be awakened by them."
    (Quasten, Johannes, Music and Worship in Pagan and Christian Antiquity, p. 17)
  6. As a result, the role of the Tabernacle (patterned in heaven) was changed and the Levites stood like cherubim to keep the people out of God's presence.   The nation was now estranged from God and enslaved. There was no singing or instruments.

    "And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. Numbers 18:21

    Abad (h5647) aw-bad'; a prim. root; to work (in any sense); by impl. to serve, till, (caus.) enslave, etc.: - * be, keep in bondage, be bondmen, bond-service, compel, do, dress, ear, execute, / husbandman, keep, labour (-ing man), bring to pass, (cause to, make to) serve (-ing, self), (be, become) servant (-s), do (use) service, till (-er), transgress [from margin], (set a) work, be wrought, worshipper.

    "Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die. Numbers 18:22
  7. For those "of truth" God commanded the Qahal, synagogue or "church in the wilderness" to REST, read and rehearse the Word. He outlawed the alarm which was making instrumental noise and "making a joyful noise before the Lord."  This is the same alarm Judas was prophesied to attempt on Jesus: the Judas Bag contained "the mouthpieces of his wind instruments."  The Dead Sea Scrolls define all of the playing and rejoicing to attack, retreat or sound the holocaust.  In the DSS Psalms 41 this is defined against Messiah.

  8. In the Samuel literature Israel's elders fired God and demanded a king [charismatic pastor] like the nations so they could worship like the nations.  God warned them about the King and Monarchy and sent the signs of the musical prophets from the Philistine high place.  The king removed the people out of God's grace and made them virtual slaves--this warning was that the kings would confiscate the young men to make "instruments of chariots" (musical) and run before the chariots. God gave them kings in His anger and took them away in His anger says Hosea.  All "'oriental potentates" had musicians to give GLORY to the senior pastor.

    "The absence of instrumental music from the services of the tabernacle continued not only during the wandering of the Israelites in the desert, but after their entrance into the promised land, throughout the protracted period of the Judges, the reign of Saul, and a part of David's. This is a noteworthy fact. Although David was a lover of instrumental music, and himself a performer upon the harp, it was not until some time after his reign had begun that this order of things was changed." (Girardeau, George, Instrumental Music, p. 29).

  9. The Levitical Warrior Musicians were under the King and Commanders of the Army: That is why psalms were connected to making war as boast or prade songs.  When used to aid the priests in the cursed sacrificial system they made NOISE and not music and their role and the previous sacrificial systems was as exorcists.  

    New patterns of Christian worship appear to have been more difficult for women to adopt than men, as they had not known the dignified rite of Apollo or Zeus.  For the most part, their religious expression had been accompanied by extravagances of every sort. 
            We may quote
    Iamblichus again:

            We affirm, accordingly, not only that the shoutings and choric songs are sacred to the gods, each and all of them, as being peculiarly their own, but likewise that there is a kindred relationship between them in their proper order . . . and the peculiar usages of Sabazian worship make ready for the Bacchic enthusiasm, the purifying of souls, and deliverances from old incriminations, their respective inspirations are, accordingly, different in every important particular.

            26. With the Korghantians, this represented a guard about the Demiurgos or Creator; with the Kuretes, it denoted a protecting of the divine maid Kora.

            Thou seemest to think that those who are enrapt by the Mother of the gods are males, for thou callest them, accordingly, 'Metrizontes' yet that is not true, for the 'Metrizontesae' are chiefly women (op cit., pp. 121-123 

    Such women must learn that they were purified not through shouting but through the blood of Christ and through the washing of the water of the Word.

    "Long before Israel's existence, we find in Akkadian tablets the word halhallatu for 'double clarinet,' and we have many ancient representations of this instruments... Extremely popular for SECULAR purposes, the clarinet was played at WEDDINGS, BANQUETS, and FUNERAL. At funerals it served as accompaniment to the customary WAILING women; this is the meaning of Matt. 9:23. The chief characteristics of the clarinet were: popularity, juxtaposition with hand drum and lyre, expression of extreme emotionalism, and symbolic meaning of FERTILITY and RESURRECTION." (Int. Std. Bible Dict., p. 472).

    "The trained musicians which eventually appear around the time of David and Solomon mark a distinctive change in the history of Jewish music.

    Before this time much of the music was made by women." (Zondervan Pict., Music p. 313).

    Saul was "turned into another man" which was, in that culture, equivalent to saying that he was perverted. The singing and harp playing was another supernatural sign sent from God because it threw Saul into the frenzied "prophesying" or singing and dancing naked. To worship like the nations, in fact, could never happen unless it added feminine or effeminate performers in song, instrument and dance!

    "Before the establishment of the kingdom under Saul, it was the women who, as in every young civilization, played a major part in the performance of music. Such figures as Miriam, Deborah, Jephthah's daughter, and the women hailing the young hero David have become almost archetypes of female musicians.

    "Characteristic of all these cases is the familiar picture of a female chorus, dancing and singing, accompanied by frenzied drum-beating.

    This is the scene known to the entire Near East, and not
    "even the severe rule of Islam could wholly suppress this age-old practice." (Int Dict of the Bible, Music, p. 457).

    Remembering that God had turned the Israelite elite over to worship the starry hosts (Acts 7 etal) we should not be surprised when we learn that the "god" whatever they called him was Dionysus

    6 Is he deranged: "Hariolus." Literally, "a soothsayer," or "diviner." In their prophetic frenzy, these persons often had the appearance of being mad, and were so considered.
    7 Drum-drubbing debauchee: "Typanotriba." Literally, "drum," or "tambourine beater." He alludes to the eunuch-priests of Cybele, who used to beat tambourines in her procession-probably in allusion to debauchees, emasculated by riot and dissipation

  10. When King David numbered the warriors, God sent a plague and this so frightened David that he could not go to the Tabernacle at Gibeon.  By a "concession" of Grace God promised david a TABERNACLE. David brought the Ark to Zion and put it under a tent a simple tent while he lived in a house of cedar.  The Levites sang outside this tent but the singing would have been cantillation and not "tuneful" because the songs were not metrical.  There were no instruments and they "made sweet melody with their voices."

    For the tabernacle of the Lord, which Moses made in the wilderness, and the altar of the burnt offering, were at that season in the high place at Gibeon. 1 Chron 21:29

    But David could not go before it to enquire of God: for he was afraid because of the sword of the angel of the Lord. 1 Chron 21:30

    "The original altar of Burnt-offering continued at Gibeon with the Tabernacle (2 Chr. 1:3, 5). David must have erected a new altar for sacrifice at Jerusalem.

    > The sacrifices commanded by the Law were, it appears, offered at the former place (Gibeon);

    at the latter were offered voluntary additional sacrifices." (Albert Barnes, 1 Chron, p. 347).

    "The book of Psalms contain new doctrine after the Law of Moses. And after the writing of Moses, it is the second book of doctrine... (David) first gave to the Hebrews a new style of psalmody, by which he abrogates the ordinances established by Moses with respect to sacrifices, and introduces the new hymn and a new style of jubilant praise in the worship of God; and throughout his whole ministry he teaches very many other things that went beyond the law of Moses." (Fragment of Commentary by Hippolytus, bishop of Rome, Ante-Nicene, V, p. 170)

    "The Davidic covenant model was also influenced by Canaanite and other Near Eastern conceptions, in this case the institutions of kingship and temple. In the ancient world the king was regarded as a sacral person, the representative or 'son' of God through whom the blessings of the divine order was mediated to society. And the temple was regarded as founded at the center or 'naval' of the world, the meeting place of heaven and earth where creation is annually renewed in the mythical victory over the powers of chaos. Thus the king was a temple-builder, and the temple was a royal sanctuary where the king performed a cultic role." (Bernard Anderson, p. 187)

    The New Year's Festival or Akitu was adopted by Solomon:

    "The effect of this new theology, especially under Solomon's influence, was to modify Israel's worship. The covenant renewal festivals of the former Confederacy were transformed into fall New Year celebrations of the foundation of the Temple and the election of the Davidic house.

    It was not until the great reformation of Josiah that the Mosaic covenant tradition was discovered." (Anderson, p. 519)

  11. A great heaviness or Kabod filled the temple so that the priests could never enter again.  The flaming cherubim as idols guarded both the original place of the WORD and the MERCY SEAT. Again, the people were excluded from God's presence until Messiah came and tore down the curtains. God was not being sexually aroused as all pagans believed.  Paul even told the Corinthian Jews that they lost the ability to read BLACK text on WHITE paper at Mount Sinai and would not be able to read until they converted or were baptized.   I believe that those who have conspired to sow massive discord have LOST the ability to read and God has sent them a strong delusion which was induced in paganism most powerfully with music.

    David's Tabernacle seems to have been without a veil.  However, Not even the Levitical Warrior Musicians could ever get close to the Ark of the Covenant after God SHUT OFF access.

  12. Isaiah 30 shows how God beats His enemies into a type of hell to the sound of the same wind, string and percussion instruments lucifer brought into the Garden of Eden.  The king of Babylon rests in this place of punishment on a bed of maggots along with his harps and still breathing harpists.   13. Amos and Isaiah show that musical worship starved people for lack of the Word of God and drove them into captivity and death. Amos and Isaiah show that they were still under the curse imposed by musical idolatry at Mount Sinai: Stephen agrees.

  14. On a desert island they would find out the meaning of ekklesia or synagogue and read Romans 15 to determine that SELF-pleasure (including music and theatrics) was  excluded and speaking "that which was written" or "Scripture" is the commanded and logical thing you do in the synagogue where singing and music was outlawed.  The Campbell clan saw church as "a school of the Bible." Worship was reading and musing the Bible. That is what Paul commanded Timothy.

  15. They would read Jude and urgently seek out for whom God will come with ten thousands angels to execute Judgement. They would seek out The Book of Enoch which is commentary on the Jubal musical fall from grace. They would read Isaiah and wonder whether the sound of wind, string and percussion instruments is REALLY the sound of God repaying His enemies and driving them into hell. Satan has only a SHORT time and maybe that is why the panic.

Her singers, instrument players and craftsmen (theater builders and stage managers) are called SORCERERS [Rev 18] who HAD deceived the whole world.  The candles were removed signifying that the seven Spirits OF Divine Knowledge [Isa 11:1-4] had been removed along with grace.

  17. I can go on and on and on and THEY cannot find anything negative about music. Why is it that THEY can trump all of the Bible and all of church history?

  18. It is deception to agressively SELL the temple dedication sacrifice and a fall from Grace and removal from God's Word and Mercy as God jumping and jiving in the Most Holy Place because He is so aroused by all of the 120 shofars making a harsh, spine-chilling sound.

The saving Grace was that not is the VILEST pagan temples were singers and musicians (lumped with prostitutes, acrobats and actors) ever permitted into the Holy Places.

When God defined the songs in the temple becoming howlings and sentenced them to captivity and said I will not pass by again, He promised to restore the fallen Tabernacle of David.  This defines the church without the burden laders of spiritual anxiety and our personal access to the Tabernacle and the Throne of Grace.

LOOKING BACK AGAIN: ISRAEL WAS ALREADY QUARANTINED FROM GOD'S PRESENCE BECAUSE OF MUSICAL IDOLATRY.

Robert Jamieson notes that the "people" were excluded from the Tabernacle as they were later from the temple:

Numbers 2:47-54. But the Levites . . .were not numbered among them--They were obliged to keep a register of their own. They were consecrated to the priestly office,
..........which in all countries has been exempted customarily,
........and in Israel by the express authority of God, from military service.
The custody of the things devoted to the divine service was assigned to them so exclusively,

..........that "no stranger"--that is, no person, not even an Israelite of any other tribe, was allowed,
..........under penalty of death, to approach these [Nu 16:40].

Hence they encamped round the tabernacle in order that there should be no manifestation of the divine displeasure among the people.

Thus the numbering of the people was subservient to the separation of the Levites from those Israelites who were fit for military service,

Numbers 3:5-10. Bring the tribe of Levi near--The Hebrew word "bring near" is a sacrificial term, denoting the presentation of an offering to God; and the use of the word, therefore,

in connection with the Levites, signifies that they were devoted as an offering to the sanctuary, no longer to be employed in any common offices.

They were subordinate to the priests, who alone enjoyed the privilege of entering the holy place;

but they were employed in discharging many of the humbler duties which belonged to the sanctuary, as well as in various offices of great utility and importance to the religion and morals of the people. 

Everyone not of the tribe of Levi (priests or Levites and others) was a stranger and no longer members of God's Covenant family:

To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the Lord; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the Lord said to him by the hand of Moses. Numbers 16:40.....

They CLAIM to lead you into the presence of God: Jesus died for that role. Do they truly believe that they are Levites who uniquely had the right to make NOISE never called music to MAKE SACRIFICES for us?

For the MASSES most of whom never got close to the Temple, God ordained the Qahal which is a synagogue or "the church in the wilderness" to hold "school of the Bible."

While David's New Tent left the Ark of the Covenant unveiled, even then, no Levite as a singer could enter into the Tabernacle. They were in the COURT where sacrifices were made. There were no SINGERS in the wildernesss and never until David was allowed to make an alternative tent at ZION below Jerusalem called Sodom.  You as a "musical worship minister" would be executed by the Levites if you dared even enter into the court.  There were NO INSTRUMENTS nor SINGERS and the Levites never ENTERED the "church house" according to GOD'S pattern.  We have noticed that the Warrior musicians made SOUND and not music in the "worshiping" sense being LIFTED out of context.


When the elders "fired" God and demanded "set a king over us" that is repeated when the elders fire the "body" and hire a dominant pastor who then hires his friends as side men.

David sinned by numbering the warriors after the wars were over and it was really Satan tempting him to do a "preacher count" to boast and keep the warriors on the payroll.  God sent a plague and was finally stopped at Aranaugh's threshing floor and there David was allowed to build a TENT and move the Ark of the Covenant in which he believed God lived. 

Stephen said for those who don't read whole thought patterns to get "proof texts."

God promised David a TABERNACLE
BUT, Solomon built Him a HOUSE
BUT, God does not DWELL in hand-built houses.

So, if you build a "theater for holy entertainment" and procure the best Levitical Warrior Musicians it will be God PROVING to the world that HE will not be there: Jesus will be outside the camp suffering the reproaches taking place in the "house" while He teaches the twos and three suffering servants.

The first Ark moving ritual resulted in death because David had probably never seen the Books of the Law inside.  After getting it right they moved the Ark and David ROSE UP TO PLAY as at Sinai and made himself vile.  However the TABERNACLE OF DAVID was a simple tent while David lived in a grand house of cedar.

After the processional with music in which the ark was brought to Jerusalem it is said:

"The ancient Tabernacle was now divided; the ark was brought into Zion, whereas the brazen altar at least, and probably the vessels of the holy place (ex. 25:23-40; 37:10-28; 40:22-27), were established in the high place at Gibeon.

Asaph and the singers (1 Chron. 6:31-47; 15:16-19; 16:5; 25:6) were left before the ark,
while the priests ministered
in Gibeon before the Tabernacle (16:39)." (Schofield Bible, p. 478-479).

1 Chr 6:32 And they
ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing,
until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order.

1 Chronicles 16 has David setting musicians on Zion but this was for approved animal sacrifices at Gibeon. It was to Gibeon that Solomon went to seek the Lord and NOT to Jerusalem.

"The original altar of Burnt-offering continued at Gibeon with the Tabernacle (2 Chr. 1:3, 5). David must have erected a new altar for sacrifice at Jerusalem.

> The sacrifices commanded by the Law were, it appears, offered at the former place (Gibeon);

"David succeeded in transferring the traditions of the Confederacy to Jerusalem: the Ark, the Tabernacle, the priesthod.

If Jesus restored the fallen Tabernacle of David then there will be simple singing.  if you engage in sacrificial instrumental noise it will be a MARK that God has sequestered His Word and Grace OUT OF YOUR REACH.

This just means SINGING because David never performed WORSHIP with either singing or instruments. Ecclesiasticus was in the bound Bible Jesus quoted from:

48:8. In all that he did he gave thanks to the Holy One, the Most High, with ascriptions of glory;
..........HE sang praise with all his heart, and he loved his Maker.

48:9. He placed singers before the altar,
..........to make sweet melody with their voices.

48:10. HE gave beauty to the feasts, and arranged their times throughout the year,
..........while they praised God's holy name,
..........and the sanctuary resounded from early morning.

That agrees with First Chronicles AFTER David had removed the Ark of the Covenant form the place where God's priests continued to make animal sacrifices.  Even then, the sacrificial system had been added as a curse and God didn't get His kicks out of eating animals.

1 Chron 16:5 Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;

1 Chron 16:37 So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every days work required:

1 Chron 16:39 And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the Lord in the high place that was at Gibeon,

So, the New Tent David made because he was too fearful to return to Gibeion was NOT THE TABERNACLE of the Lord still at Gibeon.

The Bible makes it perfectly clear that when god abandoned Israel to worship the STARRY HOST that meant that they engaged in Sabazianism or Bacchus worship

Stephen got himself murdered for exposing the Jewish clergy who were not Israelites or Kenites or Cainites.  These were imported Arabs when faithful Israelites fled before engaging in the musical-perverted Abomination of Desolation of Zeus - Dionysus - Hermes worship.

John refused to baptized them and promised a baptism of spirit and fire to the generation of vipers. Jesus refused to speak to them except in parables.  And Peter said to save YOURSELVES from that crooked generation which implicates the same skolion singers where all of the harp plucking and flute blowing took place. 

And people MAKE A PROFESSION trying to restore the national TEMPLE rather than the Fallen Tabernacle at Gibeon.  Look again:

Who found favour before God, and desired to find a TABERNACLE for the God of Jacob. Acts 7:46

So, I guess that it wasn't GOD in the temple. He was busy answering "lay" people's prayers from heaven. The people were 'outside the camp' where Paul says we have to go to find Jesus.

THE PRAYER WAY BACK AT SINAI WAS TO WORSHIP LIKE THE NATIONS: THIS IS HOW THEY WORSHIPED OFTEN IN JERUSALEM.

That is because the NATIONAL worship went with the NATION which was permitted as the final abandonment to "worship the starry host."  We can look to other nations to see what they did.  Remembering the SCAM that the AGENTS of the "gods" gets all the food, sex and rock and roll:

Asherah: Queen of Heaven, Ashtoreth, Athirat, Astarte, and Ishtar. Her "male" priestesses were known as kelabim, the faithful "dogs" of the Goddess, who practiced divinatory arts, danced in processions, and served as hierodules, qedeshim, in the company of other priestesses. Goddess worship were largely erased in a cultural purge c. 630 BCE by King Josiah.....

Older views of the temple picture it as a Ziggurat or tower of Babylon with the many circles of sanctity.  The Sabazianism was Babylonian and the Tithe was Babylonian. The temple operatives had Canaanite names and some of the performers as well.

You, as either rhetorician or music maker could not get into any of the area you see without getting executed for presumption. If you are a sacrifical musician (noise maker) blowing a single tone or vibrated tone you could not get beyond the sacrificial altar or the laver of washing and into the Holy Place as a type of Church of Christ without getting executed--even to clean out garbage from previous idolatrous garbage.

The Temple and precincts had always been a "den of thieves" or "a house of merchandies." Jesus used the rope (used in PSALLO) and drove the money changers out.  He commended the widow for casting in her mites into the collection plates called TRUMPETS but He immediately promised that the temple would be destroyed stone by stone. All of those singers and instrument players and their instruments--as far as we know--were burned up just as God promised that the king of Babylon with his harps and still-breating harpists would go into Topheth which stood for hell.  There, God promises in Isaiah 30 is where Satan and all she could seduce with his / her / its instruments would be beaten into Topheth to the sound of wind, string and percussion instruments.

Jerusalem was a Jebusite High Place and there Solomon built even more for his pagan wives.  John in Revelation calls it SODOM.

There was Molech set up so that people could go in musical procession to burn innocent babies.

They brought the Ark into the Most Holy Place.  Remembering that God had turned them over to worship the starry host and God outlawed idols, we know that the ark was moved under the Cherubims. Because The Book of the Covenant with the Law was hidden under the mercy seat, this radically removed the Word beyond their usual reach.

They moved the ARK from the Tabernacle God promised David
        but the Sacrificial priests were still at Gibeon where David could not Go.

There was never any music before the Tabernacle as "worship" but they made loud SOUNDS at all times.
They moved the Ark OUT of Zion and up the Slope to a new spot.

In His time the Levites again wanted to sing and wear Linen Garments.
This was to give glory to the KING just as in Jerusalem.
Josephus warned that as singers they would again cause the destruction of the Jewish State.

The sound is bleating, crackling, cry, yell: not music.  This was not PRAISE SINGING as in congregational singing but this is the Warrior's Panic Praise outlawed for the church in the wilderness.  This would be ONE CRASHING SOUND to create TERROR.

"From now on, Ezekiel affirms, it will be among the exiles that Yhwh's presence is manifested at all, albeit in small measure. Yhwh will henceforth be found in the midst of the true house of Israel, which now consists of the community in exile (11:15). Far from abandoning the exiles, Yhwh has abandoned Jerusalem."
This means that YOU will never be able to approach God again: you are SENTENCED to exile BECAUSE of the musical idolatry at Mount Sinai and BECAUSE you demanded a king of whom I WARNED you would take you into exile and death.

If the Temple and its "musical worship team" was actually COMMANDED by God and we would SIN if we did not do it (Re Rick Atchley) WHY wouldn't Jesus have left standing a mega-church with all of the staff and MACHINES?  Why not just REFORM the rituals?

The nation of Israel and later Judah engaged in the Rising Up to Play musical idolatry at Mount Sinai. God had turned them over to it so we MIGHT expect that Amos is NOT just speaking about a bad mental attitude when father and son went to the same temple prostitute and engaged in the musical music IN their temple by stealing from the poor.  In Amos 8 and Isaiah 5 God shows that the musical festivals had STARVED the people for the Word of God and they could no longer find it. In Isaiah 5 God breaks down the walls to let the BEAST people in to eat up their inheritance.

I don't want to get personal but I know of no recorded history which does not connect religious musicians with effeminate or gender-confused people. That is the PERSONA and that is the high-pitched persona too many people want to replace Jesus to be mediator.  For instance, a basket for summer fruits is:

John in revelation associates musical performers with sorcery and sorcerers with dogs or catamites.

In Amos 9 after the songs IN the temple became howling:

Even when their enemies drive them into captivity, from there I will command the sword to kill them. I will not let them out of my sight; they will experience disaster, not prosperity." Amos 9:4

The sovereign Lord who leads armies will do this. He touches the earth and it dissolves; all who live on it mourn. The whole earth rises like the River Nile, and then grows calm like the Nile in Egypt. Amos 9:5

It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name. Amos 9:6

"You Israelites are just like the Ethiopians in my sight," says the Lord. "Certainly I brought Israel up from the land of Egypt, but I also brought the Philistines from Caphtor and the Arameans from Kir. Amos 9:7

The church of Christ as restored Fallen Tabernacle promised by God (while Solomon built him a HOUSE) will allow baptized believers to come boldly before the throne of Grace.  The Word of God which is obscured until one is converted (baptized) (2 Cor 3) and the MERCY SEAT are now available to each one of us.

The Levitical Warrior Musicians had a rationale only for the sacrificial system: when the temple was destroyed the Levites lost their jobs and an organ was not introduced into a discorded synagogue until the year 1815.

Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Heb 9:9

The Loud noise makers--never called music--were used only in connection with animal sacrifices ADDED as part of the NATIONAL worship which excluded the citizens who gathered in the Qahal or synagogue to Rest, Read and Rehearse the Word.  Therefore, to MAKE MUSIC is to repudiate thee blood of Christ.

If you will notice Hezekiah's Plague stopping contract with God, the musical instruments applied only for the goats for a sacrifice which tried to include Israel.

That is why Jesus defined worship as in the PLACE of the human spirit devoted to TRUTH.  Paul said that converts worship IN the spirit as opposed to IN the FLESH. He warned that "outside" of this "closet" there lurked dogs and the circumcision who as cynics used their howling form of singing to attract other dogs or wolves or Catamites. The ekklesia or synagogue, on the large other hand, is A school of the Bible and we adults do not sing and clap when Jesus comes as out Teacher.  [excuse the artwork.]

That means that anyone who claims to be a MEDIATOR using music to--as the blaspheme--"Lead you into the presence of God" is trying to drag you into the end time Mother of Harlots (Rev 17) who USES music and musicians as singers, instrument players and craftsmen on you.  John calls them the SAME Sorcerers who HAD deceived the whole world.

The craftsmen are the TECHNE: these make idols and are defined as "theater builders and stage managers."  All people who use "organon" including musical instruments perform  HARD WORK or intend to produce SHOCK AND AWE.  The millstone is defined as making a "piping sound" and is a "flute" because having a hole it it makes it "polluted." In Hebrew the grinders were concubines or prostitutes who SPREAD their legs while they ground and sang in the marketplace--where Jesus consigned the pipers, singers and dancers.

David became the king of Judah and only by hard work of the whole nation.  When the wars were over David wanted to unite the nation.  Stephen says that after the trouble created by David and was permitted to built a new tent:

Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob. Acts 7:46

You will notice that this was to unite the WHOLE nation just as Hezekiah later tried to unit the nation DIVIDED because of the building of the Temple and slavery.  If the church is the Fallen Tabernacle of David it is the Synagogue WITHOUT sacrifices because there is no more animal sacrifices AND no sacrificial noise as any Jewish schoolboy would have understood: no sacrifices, not musicians.

All who enter into the Ekklesia would have been baptized and could therefore come boldly before the Mercy Seat without any mediating priests: no preachers or singers could enter into the Holy Place as type of the Church of Christ. That is why Jesus founded HIS synagogue or Ekklesia and the CORE of the church is A School of the Bible.  Those who teach teach that which has been taught and if they SEE VISIONS or HEAR audible voices or have the "spirit" tell them to deliberately sow discord then the MARK has been set up so that we look for teachers of the Word and no preachers of philosophy or book reviews or his opinions.

Rom 14:1 HIM that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

Acts 24:12 And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:

Raising up people is the "spiritual anxiety" Jesus came to silence and the SELF-pleasing in Romans 15 which speaks of "creating mental excitement" to RAISE UP pleasure.  This word points directly to arousal singing, instruments and more clearly in the Latin excludes any kind of scenic performances.  Only then can the TABERNACLE without the walls be restored.

Rom 14:19 Let us therefore follow after the things
........... which make for peace, and
........... things wherewith one may edify another.

Edify her means educate "with that which is written" otherwise you DESTROY the peace. Now, look at Romans 15 which defines the church: when Paul used words such as assemble or gather he used forms of SYNAGOGUE: the synagogue had no praise service by direct command (Num 10) and by minimal decency and reverence: you do not arouse the sexual pleasure centers when Jesus comes to be our Teacher ONLY when we speak that which HAS been spoken or taught.

Reproaches mean to make Him naked to expose his private parts. 
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning (teaching), that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4
And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust. Romans 15:12
Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: Romans 15:5
Now the God of hope fill you (not with wine but) with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:13

Sing is ode and defines Psalmus as "in Hebrew Cantillation." The "sang" the Psalms in the Temple "as a school boy READS the hallel."

SPEAK is the OPPOSITE of poetry or music.
Music is the OPPOSITE of "a sound mind."

For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed. Rom 15:18

Anyone who insists that God COMMANDED instrumental praise for the EKKLESIA should never be permitted to teach or speak unless they present their text so that a rebuttal can be presented.

All ritualistic worship devoted to what Albert Barnes called "the lust of the eyes and the lust of the ears" is the fulfilled prophecy of the Mother of Harloots performing Sorcery after the CANDLES have been removed: God through Amos told you that "I will not pass this way again" as the songs in the temple had turned to howing.

Worship is in OUR human spirit looking DIRECTLY into the Most Holy Place (our spirit) which is the ONLY place God seeks our worship.

There are NO human priests standing betwen US and the Throne of Grace. The musical idolatry at mount Sinai and building the temple PROVES that no one could come into God's presence and the KABOD in the Temple meant KEEP OUT: especially singers and musicians.

All professional religionists performed because they claimed that the gods are dangerous and you need a professional god appeaser or you will get damaged.

In the words of Paul we seek Jesus outside the camp to "learn of Him." That is the meaning of the ekklesia or synagogue of Christ. We worship individually as we come before the throne of grace with the fruit of the lips as spiritual incense.

In the church as fulfilled Holy Place, there is the Menorah representing the seven Spirits OF CHRIST all which relate to Divine knowledge which comes ONLY from the Word of God.  There is also the LOAF or bread of "tribal" or united fellowship.  The Incense altar stands BETWEEN the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. Each person as "priest" offers their own INCENSE fruit of the lips.
