Then and now self-authoring women claim to be guided
by The Holy Spirit. However, in all of the
silence passages this DENIED that:
1Tim. 2:5 For there is
one God,
and one
mediator between God and men,
the MAN
Christ Jesus,
John may have been written very late because it
corrects many of the false teachings of the
Synagogue of Satan which included Greeks and Jews
who taught that Jesus was GOD in the flesh to deny
that the man Jesus of Nazareth could have taught and
acted by the POWER of God. Jesus always denies
that He had any power or WORDS of His won.
John 1 and other passages are used to prove that
Jesus of Nazareth existed ETERNALLY as one of there
God persons. In 1938 H. Leo Boles for the first time
in history taught that the GODHEAD meant that God
was one or FRIENDLY but existed as three
separate PERSONS each with their own "center
of consciousness" or spirits. Paul was guided
after his baptism by "Jesus of Nazareth" whom Paul
mus see and hear. When the Holy Spirit
prevented Paul from going into Bithynia he is called
the Spirit OF Jesus.

The Greeks and the "progressives" teaching a new

of the FEATURES of God by which He SPEAKS in order

WORD or
LOGOS, except in paganism, can never be a god or
man: Word is what God SPEAKS when He conveys His
SPIRIT meaning "His mental disposition."
GOD IS LIGHT IN THE SAME SENSE
THAT HE IS WORD, GRACE, RIGHTEOUSNESS:
these are all made VISIBLE AND AUDIBLE by Jesus of
Nazareth.
GOD IS LIGHT:
1John 1:5 This then is the message which we have
heard of him, and declare unto you,
that GOD IS LIGHT,
and in him is no darkness at all.
Rev. 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light

SPIRIT is the SPIRIT OF God meaning His Own Spirit or
mental disposition. SPIRIT produces WORDS of God's
Instruction. Jesus was the LAST One into whose MOUTH
God put His WORDS without any other god person to make
it possible

2Chr. 36:22 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of

and put it
also in writing, saying,
Job 15:13 That thou turnest thy SPIRIT

Job 26:4 To whom hast thou uttered WORDS?

Jesus was not the WORD but He SPOKE the WORD and

of the Sethian
doctrines make, as far as it is possible to
declare in a few words. Their system, however, is
made up (of tenets) from natural
(philosophers), and of expressions
uttered in reference to different other subjects;
and transferring (the sense of) these to the Eternal
Logos, they explain them as we have
declared.
But they assert
likewise that Moses confirms their doctrine when
he says, "Darkness, and mist, and
tempest." These, (the Sethian) says, are the three
principles (of our system);
- or when he
states that three were born in paradise-Adam, Eve, the serpent;
- or when he
speaks of three (persons,
namely) Cain, Abel, Seth;
- and again
of three (others)-Shem, Ham, Japheth;
- or when he
mentions three patriarchs-Abraham, Isaac, Jacob;
or when he speaks
of the existence of three days before sun and moon; or when he mentions three
laws-
prohibitory, permissive,
and adjudicatory of punishment.
> Now, a prohibitory law is as follows:
"Of every tree
that is in paradise thou mayest freely eat; but of the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil thou mayest not
eat.[Gen. ii. 16, 17.]
The entire
system of their doctrine, however, is (derived)

pronounce music to be one of the
pleasantest things, whether instrumental or instrumental and vocal
music together (at least Musaeus
says,
'Song

people with good reason introduce it at parties and entertainments,
for its exhilarating
effect), so that for this reason
also one might suppose that the younger men

Thomas Campbell and most
agreed with Tertullian who used the word TRIAS.
Tertullian
an inventor of trias c. ad 206: But, first, I
shall discuss His essential nature, and so
the nature of His birth will be
understood. We have already asserted that
God made the
world, and all which it contains,
by His Word, and Reason, and Power.
It is abundantly plain that your
philosophers, too,
regard the Logos-that is, the Word and Reason-
as the Creator of the
universe.
And we, in like manner, hold that the Word, and Reason, and Power,
by
which we have said God made all,
have SPIRIT as their
proper and essential
substratum, in which
the Word has in being
to give forth UTTERENCES,
.......and REASON abides to dispose and arrange,
......and POWER is over all
to execute.
We have been taught that
He (reason) proceeds
forth from God,
and in that PROCESSION He is GENERATED;
so that He is
the SON of God,
and is called
God from unity of
substance with God.
For God, too, is a Spirit.
Even
when the RAY is shot from the sun,
..........it is still
part of the parent mass; the sun
will still be in the
ray, because it
is a ray of the sun-
..........there is no division
of substance,
but merely an extension.
Thus Christ is
Spirit OF
Spirit,
and God OF
God, as light OF light is
kindled. [Jesus: My

The material matrix remains entire and
unimpaired,
though you DERIVE from it any number of shoots

so, too,
that which has come forth out of God
is at once God and the Son of God, and the two are one. In this way
also, as He is Spirit of Spirit and
God of God,
He
[SPIRIT] is made a second in manner of
existence-in position, not in nature; and He did not
withdraw from the original
source,
but
went forth.
This

then, as it was always foretold in ancient

Campbell, Thomax,
Trinity The
relationship of Word to God was the same
as the relationship of a word to a
thought.
And so this is the most common
understanding among the church fathers.
The the word is the SON of the
speaker as FATHER then there is ot problem
trying to sort out how a LITERAL son of
god could be equal with the Father or of
the same age.
1st. A WORD is a sign
or representative of a thought or an idea,
and is the idea in an audible or visible
form.
It
is the exact image of that invisible
thought
which is a perfect secret to all the
world until
it is expressed.
2d. All men
think or form ideas by means
of words or images; so that no man can think
without words or symbols
of some sort.
3d. Hence
it follows that the word and the idea which it
represents,
are co-etaneous,
or of the same age or antiquity.
.......
.It is true the word may not be uttered
or born
for years or ages after the idea exists,
........but still
the word is just as old as
the idea.
4th. The idea and the word are
nevertheless distinct from each
other, though the relation between
them is the nearest known on earth.
........An idea cannot
exist without a word,
nor a
word without an idea.
5th. He
that is acquainted with the WORD, is
acquainted with the
IDEA,
for the idea is wholly in
the word.
By putting
together the above remarks on the term
word,
we have a full view of what John
intended to communicate.
As a word is an exact IMAGE of an
IDEA,
so
is "The WORD" an exact image of the
invisible God.
As a WORD cannot
exist without an idea, nor an
idea without a word,
so
God never was without "The
Word,"
nor "The Word" without God;
or as a
word is of equal age, or
co-etaneous with its idea,
so
"The Word" and God are co-eternal.
And as an
idea does not create its word nor a word
its idea; so God did
not create "The Word," nor the
"Word" God.

Theophilus on
TRIAS to deny that TRIAS meant TRINITY. The
World Created by God Through the Word.
Theophilus.Autolydus.II
Chapter IX.-The Prophet's
Inspired by the Holy Ghost.
But men of God carrying
in them A holy spirit and
becoming prophets,
being inspired and made wise by
God, became God-taught,
and holy,
and righteous.
Wherefore they were also
deemed worthy of receiving this reward, that
they should become
........... instruments
of God, and contain the wisdom
that is from Him,
...........
........... through
which wisdom they uttered both
...........
........... what
regarded the creation of the world and all
other things.
For they predicted also
pestilences, and famines, and wars. And there
was not one or two, but many, at various times
and seasons among the Hebrews; and also among
the Greeks there was the Sibyl;
and they all have spoken things consistent and
harmonious with each other, both what happened
before them and what happened in their own time,
and what things are now being fulfilled in our
own day: wherefore we are persuaded also
concerning the future things that they will fall
out, as also the first have been accomplished.
Chapter X.-The
World Created by God Through the Word.
And first, they taught us
with one consent that God made all things out of
nothing; for nothing was coeval with
God: but He being His own place, and wanting
nothing,
........... and
existing before the ages, willed to make man by
whom He might be
known;
........... for
him, therefore, He prepared the
world.
........... For
he that is created is also needy; but he that is
uncreated stands in
need of nothing.
God, then, having His
own Word internal within His own bowels,
........... begat
Him, emitting
Him
........... along with His own wisdom
before all things.
He had this Word as a helper
in the things that were created by Him,
and by Him He made all things.
He is called "governing principle",
because He rules, and is Lord of all things
fashioned by Him.
He, then, being Spirit
of God,
and governing principle,
and wisdom,
and power
of the highest,
came down upon the prophets,
and through them spoke of the creation of
the world and of all other things.
(This was the Spirit of
Christ, 1 Peter 1:11; Revelation 19:10)
For the prophets were not
when the world came into existence,
but the wisdom [Spirit in this
instance is Sophia] of God which was in
Him, and
His holy Word which was always present with
Him.
Wherefore He speaks thus
by the prophet Solomon:
"When He prepared the
heavens I (Wisdom or Sophia)
was there,
and when He appointed the foundations of the
earth I was by Him as one brought up with
Him."
[Ps. cxix. 130. Note this tribute to
the inspired
Scriptures
and their converting power; I
might almost say their sacramental energy,
referring to John vi. 63.]
Jesus DENIED
that the Spirit was ANOTHER GOD or
"brother"
It is the spirit that
quickeneth; the flesh profiteth
nothing:
the words that I speak unto
you,
they are spirit, and they are life.
John 6:63
And Moses, who lived many
years before Solomon, or, rather, the Word of God by
him as by an instrument, says,
"In the beginning God
created the heaven and the earth."
First he named the "beginning,"
and "creation,"
then he thus introduced God;
........... Beginning: 21
That is, the first principle,
whom he has just shown to be the Word.
for not lightly and on
slight occasion is it right to name
God.
........... For the divine wisdom
foreknew that some would trifle
........... and name a multitude of gods
that do not exist.
In order, therefore, that the
living God might be known by His works,
and that [it might be known that] by His Word
God created the heavens and the earth,
and all that is therein,
he
said, "In the beginning [Word]
God
created the heavens and the earth."
Then having spoken of
their creation, he explains to us: "And the
earth was without form, and void, and darkness
was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God
moved upon the water."
This, sacred Scripture
teaches at the outset, to show that matter, from which God
made and fashioned the
world, was in some manner created, being
produced by God. [1 Cor. ii. 9.]T
